- Rudolf S.June 2022PlusuriA familiar and quiet place. Very friendly and helpful staff. German is spoken.MinusuriThis is the 4th time I have been to this course. Final report to follow.Interim reportWhy the interim report. I had health problems after about a week. At the reception, Sofie, the manager, took care of it immediately. She phoned the clinic and I received the appropriate medical treatment in the emergency room. Once back at the campsite, Sofie asked about my condition at regular intervals.... All in all, she was very attentive and helpful. A big THANK YOU for that.
Our vacation will hopefully continue until 28.07.2022 without further complications.
And now one more comment. The Englishman who complained about the campsite and the German campers is welcome to go to another campsite next time, I can do without him and probably the others too.Tradus automat. - Steffen P.August 2020PlusuriIt was quiet and pretty empty on the square.MinusuriThe sanitary facilities had already seen their best days. There is no kitchen. The children's playground is in the sun. The choice of games is poor. The sandpit cannot be used. The beach is too far away.Quiet but not recommendedWe were here with 2 children. Both were downright disgusted by the sanitary facilities. However, these are basically usable, but do not invite you to linger.
There is no water connection on the pitch. The WiFi is only very stable near the reception. There is no kitchen. It is better to use the entrance... to the campsite with a guide. When campers meet, someone has to drive backwards and that is almost impossible. The beach is too far away. The site itself is actually ok. You always have to go to the sanitary facilities to get water. You can only wash up there with a bowl as there are no plugs. The site is fairly quiet due to the small number of guests.Tradus automat. - Johannes K.July 2019PlusuriSports facilities, connection to cycle path network, not too close and not too far from other places, peace and quietMinusuriThe chemical toilet emptying system is a bit old-fashioned. But it works.ConvincingA place without any real weaknesses. The management is calm, friendly, committed and helpful. The pool, whirlpools, tennis, table tennis, boccia and badminton are free of charge, including rental equipment (rackets, balls). The restaurant is tidy, if not particularly good. The most annoying thing is... the mosquitoes that are out and about from 7pm to 9pm. The connection to the cycle path around Lake Balaton is great. It takes you to most places without coming into contact with "normal" traffic.Tradus automat.
- Torsten F.July 2019PlusuriSuper pool and plenty of sun loungers in a beautiful locationMinusuriWhirlpool in need of overhaulPerfect stayVery friendly staff and overall very well maintained facility. WLAN works perfectly throughout the site but is throttled every 24 hours after a certain volume is reached. Restaurant on site is inadequate but that doesn't matter there are plenty of options within walking distance.Tradus automat.
- Melanie E.June 2019PlusuriQuiet locationMinusurinothingQuiet campsite near the BalatonWe stayed at the campsite for 2 days in June. Very friendly staff. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you. We felt right at home with our three dogs.Tradus automat.
- Werner B.June 2019PlusuriStaff friendly and patientMinusuriNo access to Lake Balaton for dogs, despite fees charged on the campsiteNow the Balaton with a dog is finally ticked off for usAfter visiting the 3rd campsite on Lake Balaton yesterday and asking about bathing facilities for the dog, the dog is also allowed here for a fee, but is not allowed in the water or on the lake. So after an extensive round trip around Lake Balaton, we leave without having achieved anything and head back... to Austria. Lake Balaton with a dog is neither a reality nor customer-friendly. We can only urge dog owners to ask very carefully whether the dog is really allowed in or out of the water. We left 3 places on Lake Balaton and Hungary today without having achieved anything and will certainly not be coming back.Tradus automat.
- Rudolf S.August 2018PlusuriClean place, nice staff, all facilities free of chargeMinusuriSanitary and showers outdated, pool should also be renovated. The first timeI was on this site for the first time this year.there are worse places in Hungary.sanitary, pool etc. a bit outdated.since the place was very well occupied, there should actually be something left for renovation. The place is clean, the staff is very friendly and speaks German, all in all, I will go back.Tradus automat.
- Gunnar B.August 2018Plusuri- clean & large pitches - great playground - Tennis court, pool & whirlpool free of charge - extremely cheap in the high seasonMinusuri- missing at the pool, it should be repaired - Whirlpools defective - Schuko sockets as power supply - Very old wash houseThe second cheapest campsite on Lake Balaton - very clean by Hungarian standardsWhen the sat nav told us to turn left at the "main road", my wife and I looked at each other in amazement. An extremely narrow driveway overgrown with hedges. We first stopped with our large 2.5 m wide caravan and explored everything on foot. The campsite was actually at the end of the road. Getting... there was millimeter work. There was no more than 2 cm of space to the left and right of the walls. In a tightrope act, I slowly moved the caravan towards the campsite. When we arrived at the bottom, there was no "waiting area" for the people arriving. There were already 2 caravans in front of me and they blocked the entire parking lot with me for over an hour. Which of course didn't please the guests parked there, but what should we do? At reception, we were then told in good German that we should just choose a spot that we liked. This is what we did. When we were setting up, we realized that there were no CEE sockets, only Schuko sockets. We had never experienced this before, but luckily we had the adapter from home with us. After setting up, we registered our pitch at reception and check-in was complete. The pool is clean, but very dated. Some of the tiles are missing and should be repaired. The whirlpools are also getting on in years and I cut my foot on a sharp corner. The whirlpools are also quite smelly and should definitely be replaced. We didn't try the restaurant right on the pitch as the German festival campers advised us not to. There was also no menu on display, which put us off eating there anyway. At the top of the main road there are several extremely cheap and good restaurants where we ate several times. The children's playground is extremely well maintained and beautifully kept. The tennis court is permanently occupied and can be used free of charge. The pitches are regularly mowed and cleaned. The wash house is certainly 30 years old and should be completely renewed, but it is cleaned every morning at 7.00 am and is very clean by Hungarian standards. Unfortunately, there was no anteroom in the showers where you could undress. You had to undress in a large room with everyone else and leave your clothes there. There would be enough space to add a dressing room to each shower cubicle. The Balaton is 800m away as the crow flies. The nearest beach is about 4km away. It can be reached by bike via the cycle path in 10 minutes, but it is a long walk. Tip for vacationers: If you walk from the campsite towards Lake Balaton, take the beach on the right. The one on the left is completely overpriced and overcrowded. \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ The campsite is super cheap at 22 EUR per night for 2 adults. It has a pool and 2 whirlpools, which are in need of renovation, but are available. A restaurant with not the best cuisine is located directly on site and the 30-year-old wash house is very clean by Hungarian standards. Unfortunately, Lake Balaton is 4 km away on official paths and the bathing spots all have to be paid for. You can't go into Lake Balaton for free in the area. The pitches are well-kept and large. Normally the site only deserves 3 stars due to its shortcomings. However, the unbeatably low price makes up for this, so it gets 4 stars from me.Tradus automat.
- Rainer S.July 2018PlusuriTidy and cleanMinusuriFar away from the lake, too far to walk in high temperatures ...Well maintained facilityIf you don't miss the exit on the main road and don't shy away from the 80m long single-lane access road that follows, you will find a well-kept refuge for campers in need of relaxation. Many things, including the sanitary facilities, reflect the taste of the late 1980s, but are in good condition and... very clean. However, you should not expect individual washing cubicles .... The staff are very friendly and attentive, they not only have breakfast rolls ready, but also offer a breakfast buffet. In view of what was on offer, we found the overnight price of €18 plus €3 tourist tax for 2 senior citizens, car + caravan in high season very acceptable.Tradus automat.
- Alexander K.July 2018PlusuriFriendliness, cleanliness, costsMinusuriNot directly on Lake BalatonThis is a great place for a vacationNot directly on the lake but with pool and whirlpool. Very nice location, clean facilities, sanitary facilities cleaned every day. Staff very friendly....and very reasonably priced.Tradus automat.
- Lutz S.July 2018PlusuriPrice-performanceMinusuriNo investments and improvements e.g. electricity, water and sewage connectionsGood, with potential for improvement-Good location, friendly staff, clean but somewhat older sanitary facilities and that is the main problem on Hungarian campsites. The owners or operators only want to earn money but do not invest anything.Tradus automat.
- Antonio B.June 2018PlusuriLarge semi-shaded pitches, pool on the site, located directly and quietly on the beautiful Balaton cycle path. Very reasonable price in JuneMinusuriSimple infrastructure at the pitch (electricity)Stay with motorhomeBeautiful campsite in a park-like location far away from the road. Large pitches and free choice of pitches during our visit in June. Only 5 minutes by bike along the beautiful Balaton cycle path to the newly built Gyenesdiás lido, but we also liked the pool right on the campsite. Few mosquitoes in June. Absolute top price-performance ratio.Tradus automat.
- Gérard d.April 2018PlusuriGenerous, friendly, casualSimple, spacious place 10 min from Lake BalatonWe love a campsite with no great regulations and no great demands. Narrow access, 200 meters from the main road and 300 meters from the Balaton cycle path. A bit basic and dated, but clean and extremely friendly and relaxed! If you want to hang out and don't have high expectations, this is the place... for you! The young operator is dynamic and very friendly. Mixed crowd, a few permanent campers, then mainly cyclists. In addition to the Acsi Card rate, there is a 3 euro visitor's tax per day = 16 euros instead of 13. From the campsite it is only a few kilometers to the thermal baths in Héviz or there are great bike tours through the national park.Tradus automat.
- Michael F.July 2017PlusuriPool, shady pitchesMinusurinearest beach on Lake Balaton not recommendedRelaxed vacationWe were here for 10 days with a larger caravan. The pitches were big enough. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities are decent for Hungary. The pubs in the area are highly recommended. The campsite restaurant serves snacks on nice plates. The pool is clean and well maintained.... The nearest beach on Lake Balaton is relatively expensive and very crowded. But you can switch to other beaches. All in all, this place is still one of the best on Lake Balaton.Tradus automat.
- Melanie S.July 2017PlusuriPrice, all inclusive, large caravan finds its placeMinusuriNoneWe felt at homeWe ended up here via a Facebook recommendation and we think it's a great place! With our very large caravan, the pitches were a bit cramped and it was no problem for us to park on the large meadow. So we had space without end! Wash house always clean. We will definitely be back! Especially because the price for the 4 of us is unbeatable!Tradus automat.
- Jens G.July 2017PlusuriYou have peace and relaxation here. The beaches are easily accessible by bike and the cycle paths are great.MinusuriNoneVery nice campsiteVery friendly staff, shady pitches. Bicycle path at the campsite. Short distances to the restaurants. Good shopping facilities.Tradus automat.
- Günther K.July 2017PlusuriPool, for everyone. everything within easy reachMinusuriDrain not in placeChild-friendly campsite at reasonable prices, close to Lake BalatonA nice place quite close to Keszthely, good food, very friendly and helpful staff, gladly againTradus automat.
- Marion R.July 2017PlusuriRest, recuperation, relaxationMinusuriNONEIngenious campsiteStayed here for 10 days in July 2017 and will be back in August ;0) Very nice, quiet campsite, very clean, uncomplicated check-in and check-out, friendly staff, very good price/performance ratio. For guests who are looking for peace and quiet, want to relax and unwind: THE TOP DESTINATION, HIGHLY RECOMMENDEDTradus automat.
- Yvonne K.June 2017Plusuri- Price - pool - Food and shopping facilities - Large pitches - quiet - clean - nice staffMinusuri- calcareous and older sanitary facilities - possible distance to the lido/lakeBeautiful placeWe stayed here for 3 weeks. The place is beautiful, the staff nice, the price great. There are lots of delicious restaurants nearby and great shopping opportunities. It's easy to get to the nearest town by bike. The downside is that the nearest lido is quite a long walk. And as we were there with dogs,... we couldn't go to the lido at all as dogs are not allowed there and the distance meant we couldn't go back and forth. However, there was a pool on the site, which was enough for us. However, we don't have children, so it would have been a shame for children if we hadn't been able to go to the lido. The sanitary facilities were ok, but extremely calcified. This was probably due to the cleaning but also to the fact that the water there is extremely calcareous, but sanitary facilities that have to be cleaned several times a day should not look so calcified. We can't compare this place as we've only been to Hungary once. However, we were told that the standard of the sanitary facilities at Lake Balaton was otherwise poor and that they were found to be top quality here. In contrast to our experiences in Croatia, they are rather poor, but still ok, as the price is also low.Tradus automat.
