Very nice little pitch. If you're lucky and book in good time, you're right on the Ems. Heavenly to sit and relax. A well-marked network of cycle paths is available for cyclists, hikers and nature lovers. The staff and the Behrens family are very friendly and supportive.
Minusuri
The sanitary facilities are very outdated, but are kept clean. There is no way for motorhomes to dispose of gray water.

Overall, a nice pitch, the sanitary facilities are unfortunately very outdated but are kept clean. There is no gray water disposal for motorhomes.
The few pitches by the water are very large and great for relaxing.

Beautiful place in a central location
Were at Whitsun 2020 rather by chance on this CP, which was visited contrary to the description of a few dissatisfied campers. Apart from some pitches that are very close to the highway, there are beautiful pitches. If possible, you just have to choose the pitch that suits your wishes. The beer garden... is uniquely beautiful on a pond with beautiful trees. Bread rolls are also available and the sanitary facilities are ok. You also have to appreciate that there is no time limit, the shower water is really hot and there are no hidden charges. You have to bring your own toilet paper and there are no gas bottle exchanges. All in all, anytime again!

The Ems is beautiful here!

Strangely incompetent staff, toilet paperless sanitary facilities.
Nice place, unfortunately loud and not really nice
There is no reception, you have to ring the bell at the hotel, where you are treated like a troublemaker. The staff are friendly, if a little helpless and not responsible for the CP. The location on the Ems is beautiful, you can also swim (be careful with the boats) but the main road is crazy loud. This was the first time in Germany that I had experienced a sanitary facility without toilet paper, clean, but towel and toilet paper free.

We were there over Whitsun.place quite well maintained.we had a place to the main road,very,very loud.staff nice but unsure with decisions.here the boss bears all responsibility.sanitary facilities functional but not particularly clean.toilet paper is to be brought.also washed hands must be dried on the pants.the place is predominantly characterized by permanent campers.location on the Ems is super.there is a bread service.

Hello, we were there for 9 days at the end of July 2013 and will definitely not be going back. Dogs are generally only tolerated on a SHORT leash. The staff are insecure but friendly. In contrast to the boss who prefers a reprimand (the dog must be put on a leash immediately) to a greeting. In the toilets,... guests have to bring their own toilet paper. Cleaning is sporadic or lackluster. The place itself is quite nice. However, too close to the road and too full of permanent campers, with a high average age. Unsuitable for young people and campers with dogs in my opinion.
