It is ideal for a short stay. Children can also have fun.MinusuriUnfortunately, I have to criticize that it is absolutely not dog-friendly. If you want to walk to the dog beach, you are forced to walk on a main path where there are cars and bicycles. According to the signs, dogs must also be kept on a lead on the dog beach. The beach area is very small, as the rest of the area is overgrown with reeds. We have traveled to many places throughout Germany and know this differently. Perhaps a little food for thought, a fenced-in free-range area, space would be available.Rating MondseeIt's a lovely place, with very friendly staff. Highly recommended for a short stay, but best without a dog.Tradus automat.

We showered free of charge.
There are plenty... of supermarkets in Hohenmölsen. The approx. 4 km are easy to manage on foot or by bike. We can recommend the Greek restaurant there. Be sure to reserve an outdoor seat in good weather. Alternatively, there is plenty of seating in the restaurant.Tradus automat. 
Bertram D.August 2019PlusuriSpacious pitches, very large beach, adequate catering facilities.MinusuriAt night you can hear the nearby open-cast mine.Well located campsite with very good bathing facilities.The location on the lake is ideal for swimming when the weather is nice! The two small gastronomic offers are at snack level but good. We lacked some shade on the very spacious pitch, but we were satisfied all round and would be happy to come again! The trees planted to provide shade will hopefully survive the dry summers.Tradus automat.
Diana S.July 2019PlusuriElectricity and showers included, clean lake, plenty of spaceMinusuriVery long distances to sanitary facilities, too few washing-up areas, lack of path lighting, extremely spaciousNice place with lots of potentialI'll start with the positive: we received a friendly welcome and were able to freely choose our pitch in a predetermined area. Electricity connections are available, albeit generously distributed. Drinking water was available at the snack bar but you had to know that first. The lake is super clear and... clean. However, it has a lot of seaweed from the swimmer's area but is easily accessible for children and non-swimmers are also cordoned off. There is a snack bar which I can't judge. And there was a stand with swimming equipment. Bread roll service works great and is very friendly. There is also ice cream and other little things. You can hire barbecue stations for charcoal or electronic barbecues. Bicycles are also available to rent but are limited and older but cheap. The site could be very nice if the following things were changed: - several sanitary areas (showers and dishwashing stations only in 2 places and not really central) - path lighting for the night - cooking area - water columns and more power connections Big advantage is: - shower and electricity is included Unfortunately, we also had the disadvantage of hearing the combine harvester 2 nights, one night of which was additionally loudly bawling teenagers from the side opposite the lake with loud music. There will also be a video about this pitch on my YouTube channel in the near future. I wouldn't go there again too soon unless I had my bike with me. It's really nice in itself, but it lacks the coziness and the short distances to the sanitary facilities.Tradus automat.

Jordi L.August 2018PlusuriBeautiful lake, playgrounds, spacious site with lots of places to stand.MinusuriLoud (party with music & lots of alcohol), lots of cigarette butts on the lawns, sanitary facilities need to be cleaned more often.Beautiful lake but noisyLake Mondsee is really beautiful, you have a real sandy beach and it is very shallow and there are lots of play opportunities for children. The campsite stretches around half the lake, so the paths are not always very short. However, the infrastructure of the campsite is good. Unfortunately, there were... construction workers on our section whose accommodation was caravans on the site, they partied loudly every night with vodka and music and did not respond to requests to be a little quieter. The campsite operators are not there at night and so they don't care. What was also a bit of a shame is that there were lots of cigarette butts on the campsite meadows as well as on the beach meadows.Tradus automat.- Ellen W.August 2018PlusuriFriendliness, great location with good access to the highway, beautiful very clean lake, nudist beach, dog beach, lifeguardMinusuriGastronomy could be expanded/extended, a small store is missing (the nearest one is 3km away from the campsite)A short break from everyday lifeLast month I spent two weekends camping at Lake Mondsee. Despite it being the vacation season, I found it very relaxing and quiet. You can relax very well. The almost 4km long circular path around the lake is very beautiful. The lake itself is very clean and suitable for small children. During the day... it is guarded by lifeguards. Campers are very friendly with each other. Dogs are allowed to swim and romp around on the dog beach. Nude bathing is permitted on the naturist beach. There is a playground for children (in very good condition). Small cottages and two renovated caravans are available to rent for short trips.Tradus automat.

Very well-kept outdoor facilities, but the sanitary facilities are not very appealing. The distance between the electricity pillars is very wide, depending on where you stand, with a 25 m cable it could be tight. There are no shopping facilities on site, only a relatively expensive snack bar. The staff are very friendly. As I said, not a bad place, there is a lot of room for improvement.Tradus automat.
