Particularly noteworthy is the easy online booking function with pitch display and occupancy period of the individual pitches. (You can see exactly when a pitch is occupied or free.) Book, pay, done - it couldn't be better!!!...
The campsite is situated on higher ground and is fairly level.
There are two well-kept, modern sanitary blocks on the site
The lake is a few hundred meters away, beautiful beach with sunbathing area.
The cycle paths in the area are more for mountain bikers, sometimes very steep paths, very good for sports enthusiasts. The further you cycle in both directions around the lake from Stuer, the less hilly the terrain.
-Paddlers are advised to paddle along the right bank, where there are several opportunities to moor up relatively undisturbed.
-You can do your shopping in Plau
-Sanitary facilities are cleaned daily
-Food and drinks are available in the covered outdoor area, where you can also order your breakfast rolls

The road is then impassable in the worst case. - Staff very snippy and overwhelmed - Pitches uneven and sloping, no camper van can be aligned without blocks - Reception and catering opening hoursCamping... Not like this againThe campsite is lovingly designed and pleasantly "small". There are plenty of activities for young and old. The sanitary facilities are generously sized and sufficient for the number of campers. Unfortunately, they were only cleaned once a day during our stay. The pitches themselves are generously sized... but the condition of some of them is catastrophic - crooked, sloping terrain, unmown and ploughed up (statement from the groundsman: that's just the way it is on a nature campsite?!?). Very incomprehensible that there are two groundskeepers present all day.
The food is absolutely top class - but unfortunately the opening hours (food until 7.30 pm and bar until 8 pm) and the way the guests are treated (from stroppy to rude) are impossible. The impression was that the staff preferred to take a break, sit in the middle of the guest area and make fun of? Exactly - the guests.
Conclusion: a great little, lovingly designed place. A small camping store would be nice, as there are no shopping facilities within walking distance.Nice place but ...We visited this site for 3 nights. The campsite is very clean and well maintained. The sanitary facilities are great. So far everything is wonderful. The staff are friendly and in a good mood. Well, all except the cook. His behavior towards paying customers is unacceptable to us. Rico F.August 2020PlusuriLocation on Lake Plau Peace and quietMinusuriPitches very uneven and sloping no mini market; few washing-up facilities; no cell phone network; no sufficient WLAN;O.K. for a short vacation.We spent a week of our summer vacation here in Corona times. We had high hopes for the campsite based on the previously very positive reviews.
But we were rather disappointed. Our pitch on the edge was plowed up by a mole and was plowed up again every day. The pitches made a poorly maintained impression.... Nettles and tall grass at the edges.
Without a drive-on aid and high blocks under the supports, it was not really possible to stand level. The reception was always friendly, sometimes very firm.
The bread rolls are very tasty and were always fresh.
Otherwise there is unfortunately no mini market and you have to go to Plau am See (15 min. by car) for shopping.
The snack bar is only open until 8pm, except for special programs at the weekends.
They serve tarte flambée, currywurst and chips. Here, too, more service and longer opening hours would be desirable. The food must be ordered by 7.00 pm.
The cleaning staff were unfriendly. We know it's not an easy job and we tried to be friendly, but we were told off straight away. The shower rooms with WC and mini washbasin were ok.
There were far too few washbasins. In the evening you had to hurry because there was no light.
You can do a lot by bike. There are very nice paths around the lake.
The location of the campsite is very nice. Unfortunately, there is almost no network coverage and the guest WiFi only works at reception.
The mini golf course is very nice. We didn't hire kayaks at the campsite. Instead, we went to Plau am See and were able to paddle up and down the Elde or on Lake Plau in a 2-person kayak for €25 all day.
More could certainly be made of the site. The price for one week for 4 people was good, but in the end it also corresponded to the condition of the site. The pitches are as uneven as a freshly plowed field and too small (some less than 70 square meters). No mini-market so that shower gel or toothpaste could be bought quickly. Next shopping opportunity 10 km away! Compliance with the Corona hygiene regulations is zero!!! etc. etc. etc.not again!"More appearance than reality". We liked it at first, but in the end we were glad to be away again.
The unlimited shower time and the additional toilet in the shower cubicle didn't outweigh the disadvantages.Tradus automat. 
Rolf G.July 2020PlusuriClean, good location with direct access to the lake, Sensational sanitary facilities for the priceMinusuriFor young people: Cell phone reception is poor or non-existent (depending on the provider) and WiFi is only available at reception. Dogs are not allowed at the first bathing area, you have to go further through the forest to other parts of the lake.Good and affordable....On our way to the Baltic Sea, we spent a few days at this inexpensive yet very good campsite.
The sanitary facilities include cabins with WC, shower and washbasin, just like a private bathroom. This is sensational for the price, something you won't find at some 5-star campsites such as Kühlungsborn....
Of course, everything is a little simpler, more rustic and more handmade, but we didn't see that as a disadvantage.
Now, in the high season, the campsite was quite full (no wonder) and therefore a little less busy. But we met nice people, the staff are friendly and our teenage children quickly made friends.
Animation etc. You search in vain, but that's why we also go to such smaller campsites. TOP: Water and waste water also on the pitch. Not commonplace for the price range.
We wouldn't stay there for 2 weeks, but for a short trip to the Mecklenburg Lake District, the site deserves a clear recommendation.

Uneven pitches. No WLAN, hardly any cell phone reception (network) regardless of provider.Welcome to the valley of tranquillity, if you like it...In our opinion, this campsite is recommendable even if the camper should bring along a good degree of tolerance.
The guests come from all walks of life, from Prenzlauer Berg to Dahlem, everything is represented here.
If you don't have an LTE router or a satellite dish, you'll have peace and quiet here... and be virtually cut off from the outside world, as there is virtually no network and the Wi-Fi is only available right next to reception.
The reception is down-to-earth and rustic, a clear language is spoken here. Nevertheless, a clear announcement can lead to amusement, the boss and the receptionist, who is also the cashier for the bar, are very friendly.
Less so the operator's husband, who takes a lot of getting used to... and sometimes makes an announcement in front of the guests in the direction of his employee and the guests, which is not really professional and doesn't make the guests feel good.
Some of the pitches are uneven, the maintenance condition of the pitch is natural, you have to like it, although aligning the vehicle can be a test of patience. Electricity and water connections are in good condition. The toilet cassette can only be emptied in one place on the pitch, so it can be a long walk...
The sanitary facilities are particularly noteworthy, they are very clean, spacious and well maintained.
The obligation to wear a mask is not really taken seriously here, neither by the operator (husband) nor by various guests, which was incomprehensible.

The nearest shopping facilities are 10 km away, but if you know where to go, that's no problem. It's idyllically quiet here, the operators are great and the location is... excellent. What more could you want? We're going back next week with the camper van and our children have rented a mobile home. This time we're staying for 2 weeks. It is very well maintained and the service provided by the staff is absolutely excellent. The very clean and beautiful sanitary facilities deserve special mention. They are very clean and the... shower cubicles are not just shower cubicles, but each one is a small complete bathroom with washbasin, toilet and shower. Top! We also really liked the service. Every morning you can order fresh bread rolls or even a full breakfast and you can eat delicious tarte flambée and other dishes in the bar. The staff were always very friendly and extremely helpful with any questions. You can also hire a canoe or SUP directly on site at a fair price. The location is very quiet and directly on Lake Plau. You can explore the beautiful surroundings on foot or by bike. Ideal for nature lovers and people who enjoy outdoor activities but also want to relax on the campsite.
