- Angela M.September 2024PlusuriQuiet place Large pitches Fresh water directly at the pitch Many offers for families Top place for vacation with dog Very friendly registration Bread rolls without pre-orderingMinusurisloping plots exciting access road many mosquitoes closed restaurantQuaint and beautiful placeWe stayed at the campsite for a week at the beginning of September.
It felt like the site was completely in the forest - the first feel-good factor right from the start. We received a very warm welcome and were allowed to look around for another pitch (although we had a reservation).
The pitches are... big enough for normal caravans with awning and car BUT absolutely not straight. It took us about 1 hour, despite wedges, until the caravan was almost straight - so don't forget the wedges!
There is fresh water at every pitch - gray water emptying is near the reception.
We were on the site outside of the vacations, but I can well imagine that it is very full at peak times. The perfect place for families. The beach is just a few minutes' walk away, there is a petting zoo, playground, giant chess, forest nature trail, labyrinth...
The sanitary facilities are clean and some have been modernized. As it got quite chilly for us, we always went to the main house - this was much warmer (and there were fewer spiders on site ;) for all those who also have a little phobia).
The access road is a bit bumpy but still easy to manage.
It was a shame that the restaurant was always closed.Tradus automat. - Elke B.May 2024PlusuriWe liked everythingMinusuriNoneSuper campsiteSuper nice campsite. There is a lot of forest, water, peace and quiet and very nice pitches. You can do water sports or just swim. There are also wonderful hiking and cycling trails to explore. There are great pitches with trees but also sun. There is a suitable pitch for everyone, and the manager is... very helpful. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities offer everything you need on vacation.
We liked it so much that we are going back in September.Tradus automat. - Carsten S.September 2023PlusuriWe like everything about this campsiteMinusuriI can't think of anything! Probably because we no longer have small children? But we do have a fur nose. And she feels right at home here!Evaluation of the campsite Banzelvitzer BergeI have been a regular guest at this campsite since 2007. Previously only for 3-4 days... nowadays for 14 days. And I like to do that twice a year. A place to slow down.... Beautifully embedded in the nature of the Great Jasmund Bodden! As I am also addicted to spin fishing, this is the perfect place... to be successful in my hobby. My wife has also fallen in love with this place 3 years ago. But that's because we only got to know each other not so long ago. The way to the Baltic Sea is no problem for us.... about 45-50 minutes by car to the Schaabe, Glowe, Binz! But if you want to escape the hustle and bustle, we can only recommend the natural beach/Schaabe. But even here there is so much for children to discover that you can simply enjoy nature here.
All in all, the Banzelvitzer Berge campsite has become a second home for us. We have always found an open ear with the entire staff and would like to take this opportunity to thank them.Tradus automat. - Tobias M.July 2023PlusuriQuiet, well-equipped vacation home, great offers for children, nice vacation guests all around.MinusuriBay characterized by seaweed, somewhat dirty-looking. The store is only open sporadically.Vacation home with comfortOur family children (0,2,5) and we plus dog felt very comfortable in our vacation home. Equipped with a dishwasher and TV, among other things, we were able to put our feet up from time to time.
The children enjoyed the animals and the activities offered by the friendly staff. The location of the site... is very nice. The bay on the Bodden seemed a bit unclean due to a lot of seaweed. The aunt in the store must have had a lot to deal with as she was always talking about better times "back in the day". We are grateful for our stay. It's just not a rainbow camp with atmosphere and music until late at night, you have to accept the peace and quiet :).Tradus automat. - Sarah W.June 2023PlusuriWell-kept sanitary facilities, dog friendly, directly on the water, great adventure trail lovingly prepared, enough shady spots, nice and quiet to relaxMinusuriYou have to drive a bit to buy something for your daily needs.A very nice and family-friendly campsite with great facilities. The site is very large and offers plenty of shady spots.
The staff and owners are very friendly and helpful.
There is even a dog play area and a great playground for the children.
The adventure trail with labyrinth and hidden treasure chest is highly recommended.
We and our child also really enjoyed the petting zoo and the pony rides.
We would love to come back.Tradus automat. - Manuela K.June 2023PlusuriReally great grounds with lots of greenery. A quiet and beautiful setting with a view of the Bodden. The hostess Mrs. Engel, is also really one. She is warm and friendly to big and small. Special requests and demanding guests (like me) are served with a smile. There is lots of greenery, peace and quiet and clean sanitary facilities. For children there is a search trail through the forest and several animal enclosures. The Bodden with its gently sloping and very warm waters is also not far away. What I particularly liked were the great bungalows if you need and want a bit more space. We look forward to returning to this heavenly place under the Rügen sun.MinusuriThere is nothing that did not pleaseWonderful stay at a fantastic nature campReally great grounds with lots of greenery.

There is an activity plan every week, which shows when what takes place (handicrafts, games, horse riding, tractor rides....everything for the children) The treasure hunt in the labyrinth is highly recommended and beautifully done!!! If you have any questions or requests, someone is always on hand immediately. There is a wonderful playground for children (ideal from 2 years up to 12 years). The campsite is quiet and beautifully embedded in nature.MinusuriWe arrived when the mosquitoes were at their hungriest :DGreat relaxed family vacationGreat vacation for the whole family (children 2 & 11) and mom with a big ball, who was simply looking for relaxation and found it, as there is always something going on for the kids...Tradus automat.
- Steffen T.July 2022PlusuriAbsolutely quiet location, great beach on the Bodden, beautiful view and central on RügenMinusuriNonePure relaxationThe perfect campsite for anyone looking for peace and relaxation. Directly on the Bodden (with beach) and away from any traffic noise, you can spend really relaxing days there. Everything a family could wish for is there, from the artisan bread rolls in the morning to the leisure facilities, the playground and the petting zoo for children, right through to the WLAN. We were completely satisfied and will definitely be back.Tradus automat.
- Daniel B.July 2022PlusuriThe location is pleasantly secluded and very beautiful with the Great Jasmund Bodden right outside the tent/caravan door.MinusuriThe cycle paths were either gravel paths or non-existent or you had to switch to the country roadSuperA very nice campsite with a great view of the large Jasmund Bodden.
The sanitary buildings were cleaned regularly and were in good condition, the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The WLAN was often overloaded in the evening, but this is probably normal with a large number of guests.
A more central location would probably be more suitable for families with teenagers who don't (yet) enjoy vacationing in nature.
We will definitely be back.Tradus automat. - Marcel C.July 2022Plusuribeautiful natureMinusuriThe mosquito's...luckily they sell the best mosquito repellent :-)fine spot in the middle of beautiful natureRelaxed crew on a fine camping in the middle of beautiful nature. - Eva B.July 2022PlusuriClose to nature and quiet, Bodden with bathing beach within walking distance, adventure playground, petting zoo, bouncy castle and trampolines, clean sanitary facilitiesMinusuriThe Bodden is shallow, so if you want to swim you have to walk a long way.Beautiful natural campsite on RügenWe were camping from 06.07.22-10.07.22 at the Banzelvitzer Berge campsite with our children aged 2 and 4. We were warmly welcomed.
It's really perfect for families with small children who like it quiet in the evenings. You can hear the birds chirping in the morning and are surrounded by greenery. The... sanitary facilities are clean and well maintained. In the evenings you can enjoy relaxing evenings in the countryside.
The location on the island of Rügen is well suited for day trips, but there are plenty of activities on the campsite.
Our children couldn't get enough of the adventure playground. There is a bouncy castle for a rainy day. The petting zoo was an experience for the children. We also loved the labyrinth and the accompanying path. Perhaps more care could be taken here.
The children's highlight was the marble run.
The Bodden is easily accessible. You can relax on the lawn or lie in the sand, swim and splash around. If you want to swim, don't be afraid of seaweed.
My children have already asked if we will come back.Tradus automat. - Christina S.July 2022PlusuriSpacious campsite with lots of play space for smaller children. Very nice service, relaxed atmosphere.MinusuriNothingClose to nature and relaxedFor people who like to be in nature and enjoy the peace and quiet. The offer for children is very nice and away from mass tourism. Feel free to pack mosquito spray ;) Self-catering is advisable as it is remote. The bread rolls that are brought in the morning are very good.Tradus automat.
- Wolfram K.July 2022PlusuriIt was our 3rd time there. It is already very quiet and empty on the site, in contrast to previous years. Boating is no longer possible. The jetty is also gone. The playhouse is not in use. The trees on the roof are already quite high. There are broken lamps in the wash house. It's a shame when the women's and men's showers are blocked at the same time. But the price has almost doubled. Conclusion: we now have the first campsite on our list of places to avoid, which is a shame reallyMinusuriHello family K., unfortunately it was not possible for you to arrive. We will be charging you the cancellation fee as I certainly do not work for you free of charge and the bread rolls you ordered have also been ordered and baked for you. The baker does not work for you free of charge either. Yours sincerely Rixa Engel This is the email I received. So we arrived on the right day! Mrs. Engel, apparently you are not up to your task. I can understand that you are frustrated when you look at your seat. But taking it out on your guests is not very wise.Everything used to be betterIt's really very quiet on the campsite. It was too quiet for us.
We go camping because we are out there and get to talk to the neighbors. When you're almost alone on the pitch, it's hard to do that.Tradus automat. - Juliane T.July 2022PlusuriQuiet location, yet central for excursions on Rügen. Great facilities for children with bouncy castle, trampolines, playground, labyrinth, shallow bathing area on the Bodden, alpacas, pony rides and Leon's supervision with always new ideas for handicrafts or games. Very clean sanitary facilities. Very nice team.MinusuriUnfortunately, the "Restaurant im Zelt" no longer exists. So we had to. We had to make some changes. But that worked too.Pure relaxation every yearIt was again a very nice stay. This is the 5th year in a row that I have been going to this wonderfully quiet campsite with my son. We are always warmly welcomed and it's hard to say goodbye at the end. There is plenty of space and animals for the children, and closeness to nature and peace and quiet for the adults. We would love to come back and are already looking forward to it.Tradus automat.
- Michael K.July 2022PlusuriThe campsite is well laid out, clean, idyllically situated, simply ideal for short or longer stays. There are facilities for children. It borders on the Bodden and is in the immediate vicinity of the Störtebek Festival. The operators are incredibly friendly and accommodating. They make almost everything possible for their guests.MinusuriYou should be mobile to experience the culinary delights of the island.Great campsite on RügenTop location

Highly recommendedTradus automat. - Wolfram G.June 2022PlusuriNature campsite + Well-kept, spacious site + High recreational value + Ideal for those seeking peace and quiet and families with childrenMinusuriI didn't notice anything negativeThe insider tip for a carefree vacationThis beautiful and well-kept natural campsite is located in a sparse forest on the large Jasmund Bodden and offers plenty of space, a variety of accommodation options from tents to vacation homes, good sanitary facilities and friendly staff.Tradus automat.
- Mirko J.May 2022Plusuri-the natural seats -the choice of seats -friendly staff -always a free placeMinusuri-only one sanitary facility open -kiosk a bit overloaded and many old things on offerOnce again hereThis is the 5th time we have stayed here. One reason is the location on the island. You can relax away from the hustle and bustle. Cycle paths are well signposted. It is also very quiet and no traffic can be heard. You can swim in the Bodden. The site is very spacious in a wooded area. What has been... getting worse for years, certainly "Corona" is also to blame, is the Kisok and the condition of the "adventure trail". Furthermore, one sanitary facility was closed or was only opened at the weekend. It seems to us that the staff are new and very friendly. There was always a pitch available for last-minute bookings. The site is ideal if you want to go to the Störtebeker Festival or events on the open-air stage. The journey is very short and can also be done by bike.Tradus automat.
- Julia P.July 2021PlusuriLocation, leisure facilities, friendliness of staff, swimming facilities, playground, cleanlinessMinusuriNoneGreat vacationGreat campsite in a unique location. The whole family gets their money's worth here.
The tents are partially sheltered under the trees. The sanitary facilities are cleaned regularly and are very clean. There is delicious food from an external provider three days a week.
The play facilities are varied... and our children enjoyed using them. The bathing area is great. The water here is very shallow for many meters. This is particularly beneficial for smaller children and non-swimmers.
The staff are extremely friendly and always available.Tradus automat. - Anke S.June 2021PlusuriFriendly and helpful permanent campersMinusuriInhospitable operatorInhospitableWe actually wanted to stay there for 3 days in June 2021.
There is a restaurant right on the pitch. As soon as we arrived we were informed
that the campsite and restaurant have nothing to do with each other. There was probably a dispute between the operators.
At the campsite entrance, 2 barriers are... permanently closed. There are only very narrow passages for pedestrians and cyclists, some of which lead over high kerbs. I walked my dog outside the campsite on my bike. When I returned to the campsite, I had to take the dog off the lead briefly to get back to the campsite because the bike and dog could not fit through the passageway at the same time.
through the passage at the same time. The campsite manager immediately came out of reception and told me to put the dog on a lead. Of course I did that. Then I told her that the dog only had to be taken off the lead for a short time because otherwise we wouldn't have been able to fit through the narrow passageway. This was met with nagging and complaining - until the lady at reception herself realized that there was no longer any
reason to complain because the dog had long since been put back on a lead.
We had ordered bread rolls for breakfast, which
which I paid for and took from the lady. I was about to leave when the receptionist got upset again - now that I hadn't thanked her again for the bread rolls after I had paid for them. As the operator of the campsite, she could choose her guests and she didn't want me here any more. It was shortly before 11:00 a.m. - I had to make sure that I managed to clear the site by 11:00 a.m.. The permanent campers on site told me that my mother and I weren't the first campers to be thrown off the site. We drove on and had a very nice holiday at another
campsite on the island of Rügen for a very nice week's vacation.Tradus automat. - Norbert G.September 2020PlusuriQuiet, nice staffMinusuriLack of investment, untidy, accommodation very dirty, lots of mosquitoesSignificant need for improvementThe campsite is not particularly well maintained and has many untidy corners. There seems to be a considerable investment backlog here and broken facilities are not repaired or replaced. I have also never slept on such worn-out mattresses as I did there. (1 point deduction)
I won't deduct any points... for the unbelievable number of mosquitoes, as this is simply in the nature of things (location of the campsite). But I just wanted to mention it, as you can expect a massive amount of mosquitoes at the campsite. The beach was also of limited use as there were a lot of jellyfish, aquatic plants and silt which made swimming unpleasant.
The children had fun in the playground, even if some of the equipment was broken and should be replaced.
The location for excursions was ok, you can reach almost every point on the island in a maximum of an hour's drive.
However, the poor rating is mainly due to the cleanliness of our accommodation, for which I deduct 2 points.
Our accommodation was incredibly dirty. Large amounts of dust and lots of dead and living woodlice throughout the house. It was simply not cleaned. However, a dead, already dried out "bat" (probably an evening swift) took the cake. It was lying in the bedroom next to a cupboard. Nobody should have been able to miss such a large dead animal, which had apparently been lying there for some time as it was completely dried out. While cleaning (vacuuming and mopping) for several hours, we also discovered one or two things from previous tenants.
Dogs also seem to be welcome in the cottage, as we found/vacuumed up a lot of dog hair and the smell in the cottage was more reminiscent of a dog kennel than a vacation home.
If we had gone in high season and paid almost double the price, I would deduct another star here. Because the cottage is not worth it by far.Tradus automat.
