The peace and quiet on the site is very relaxing, also thanks to the dog ban.MinusuriStrict (unnecessary) rules - you feel very controlled!Very scenic placeA really fantastic location! We were lucky enough (for a small surcharge) to get a pitch in the first row, with its own jetty. The pitch was very small and on arrival we were told straight away how to position the caravan. It was very tight with the awning... We would have found it more sensible if it... had been crosswise! The groundsman and his wife were not unfriendly but very firm. A smile would do them both good :)
Unfortunately, the showers are not very user-friendly. Very little space to put/hang up your things inside the cubicle. But tip top clean - I found that much more important!
It's quite a long bike ride to Schwerin, but it's a nice route so you're always on the move. The restaurant on the square offers really great food, so we also liked to stay there in the evening and ate there!
We will definitely be back again! Ideal for cycling to Schwerin, for example.Tradus automat. - Bernd G.August 2021PlusuriThe location on a headland that juts out into the beautiful Schwerin Lake and offers beautiful sunsets against the backdrop of Schwerin Castle is very beautiful!MinusuriI didn't like everything else!Great location, but that's it!The pitches were far too small, allowing no privacy, far too few, outdated sanitary facilities that were often dirty, too few electricity and water connections, and an impossible host for whom manners, hospitality or politeness were not part of his upbringing! My dog had the cheek to urinate just before... the barrier, and the groundsman... er, groundskeeper then hurled veritable tirades of hatred at me, which should have been punishable by law! I have never experienced such an unsuitable "host"!
The Süduferperle is actually in a very beautiful location, but I can only advise everyone against this place! It doesn't cost much, but you have to put up with some unworthy restrictions!
To spend a night here for a relaxing break, the place is fine!
Dogs are now banned, thank goodness! *irony off

A very beautifully situated site.
The pitches are very small and you are almost wall to wall with your neighbor. Hygiene and cleanliness are in vain here, once a day is cleaned, cobwebs everywhere, you walk slalom on them and in the grass... you constantly have wet feet because it is too high.
The washbasin was already dirty at 6am and at 12:30 it still looked like that.
You can only leave the pitch through a barrier which is only opened by the groundsman and he is not always there straight away.
I felt like I was in the 80s, everything was checked like this, if you invest this time in hygiene, then it could be really nice. The pitches are very tightly spaced
(approx. 60 m²) so that there is hardly any privacy.
The sanitary facilities are in great need of renovation (70s/80s style) and are more than tight.
Only 3 shower cubicles and 2 washbasins... in the men's area. The shower token costs €1 for 3 minutes. If you want to shower longer, you have to leave the cubicle after 3 minutes and go to the sanitary anteroom to insert another shower token. The water pressure is also more than poor and the shower heads are so calcified that only a little water comes out of the shower heads. You should also prepare everything beforehand so that the 3 minutes shower time is sufficient. The probability of standing under the shower with a shampooed head and suddenly running out of water is quite high.
The boiler for hot water is so small in the showers as well as in the dishwashing house that it sometimes happens that there is not enough hot water for showering or washing up.
The toilet facilities are also outdated and in need of an overhaul.
All in all, we will not be staying here again. There are much better and higher quality campsites in the region where the price/performance ratio is right.
Due to a private situation, we had to end our vacation there and leave. Even in this situation, the operator showed little willingness to offset the money already paid on arrival for 10 nights + electricity against the actual stay. We were only refunded 4 nights for 2 of the 10 nights we had planned to stay. We therefore paid 162 euros for 2 nights with electricity.
The operator's argument was that he had not accepted many requests and had therefore suffered a personal financial loss. Anyone who is currently requesting pitches knows how high the demand currently is at

The location on the southern shore of Lake Schwerin is very idyllic. There is a bathing area right next to the site. The tent meadow is divided into 2 areas, one directly on the lakeshore, the other a little set back, protected... by high hedges. You can bring your own car to the tent in both areas. The size of the sanitary building corresponds to the size of the pitch. Everything is clean and well-maintained, and hot water is used in the showers via separate coins. There is a small restaurant directly in front of the campsite, which also offers a bread roll service if ordered in advance.Tradus automat.

The operators are very friendly and helpful. In terms of location, the site actually deserves 4 stars, but you rate a site mainly according to the infrastructure offered (sanitary facilities etc.) but unfortunately the number of showers,... toilets and washing-up areas offered is far too small compared to the possible pitches. There is no doubt that the existing facilities are kept very clean, but in the high season I find it very difficult to find a free shower or a washing-up area or toilet. There are 3 showers for men and women, 3 washing-up areas and a corresponding number of toilets. In the showers you have to leave the shower if you want to pay extra because the shower machine is in the anteroom (very unusual). The disposal station for motorhomes is also very unfavorably chosen, as it is located on a small hill that can be reached by driving around a stone bed. Larger mobile homes do not have the possibility to empty the waste water completely as the vehicle is standing with the front part on the sloping hill and it is not possible to stand upright. We were in the low season, so we had few bad points of contact with the sanitary facilities etc. We would love to come back but only in the low seasonTradus automat.
