Pitches for short-term, vacation and seasonal camping are no longer offered.Tradus automat. - Dina D.July 2018PlusuriPeace, cleanliness, friendlinessWell-kept family placeWe have been coming back to the Tannenwiese for years. The reception is always quick and uncomplicated, the owners very friendly. There are plenty of showers and toilets and they are always very clean and well maintained, but this applies to the whole campsite. Sometimes an aerobatic plane from the nearby... airfield takes to the air in the mornings and evenings, but this is less disturbing than it is beautiful to watch. The site is ideal for relaxing. Shopping facilities can be reached by car in Hausdülmen/Dülmen, from the site you can go on wonderful bike tours (Haltern reservoir, Silbersee etc.) and great walks with the dog. Highly recommended for its friendliness and cleanliness.Tradus automat.
- norbert d.April 2017PlusuriFriendliness, well-kept pitches, good price/performance ratioMinusuripossibly aircraft noise,Simple but beautiful campsiteWe were guests over Easter. Very friendly and uncomplicated welcome. Large, well-kept pitch surrounded by fir trees. The campsite is characterized by permanent campers, which is not a disadvantage. It is located outside of Dülmen/Hausdülmen. A vehicle is required for shopping. There is/was no bread roll... service. The surrounding area is ideal for cycling. For noise-sensitive campers, the nearby airfield could be a bit annoying. The price/performance ratio is absolutely fine. We can only recommend the site.Tradus automat.
- Anja J.May 2016PlusuriLarge meadow to play in, quiet, great bike rides, mixed bags :-)Minusurifor us noGreat for a short vacationWe have been going to this campsite for years. There is a large meadow where you can stand on the edge. For our children, who are now 10 and 13, "Dülmen" is the highlight of the year. The large lawn is great for playing, there is a trampoline, table tennis table, playground and lots of open space. Even... the newest member of the family, the dog, felt at home and was not charged! The operators are very friendly, have a lot of patience when the children pick out mixed bags with 50ct. and not only once did I meet the boss at night in the sanitary building, where she cleaned the toilets herself when there was a lot of people, e.g. when the wild horses were caught. When one of our bikes broke down, the boss offered us her own private bike. The times of the previous generation with many prohibitions and sometimes unfriendly behavior are really over. There are countless wonderful bike tours around the campsite that can be adapted to suit every level of training. Maps are available at reception. A place to relax, cycle, see wild horses - and a paradise for children.Tradus automat.
- Hans H.September 2014PlusuriPrice, peace and quietMinusuriNo catering,Relaxing is no problem hereInexpensive campsite without catering facilities, actually for permanent campers. However, there are also a few pitches for tourists. Right at the beginning you are greeted by the unmotivated operator. Friendly is different. Showers? You have to insert the tokens before showering. Too few tokens inserted...... Bad luck. Too many tokens? Also bad luck. You get nothing back. You also save on flushing. You have to dance or do other contortions so that the motion sensor reacts and you have light. There's really room for improvement. There was a really nice gentleman at the checkout, probably the father or father-in-law of the grumpy guy from the start day. He made a nice impression of the whole thing. The place is really cheap, but has nothing to offer other than relaxation.Tradus automat.
- Anka L.July 2012I've been to the Tannenwiese campsite a few times and can't quite understand the criticism from other writers. I think the site is really nice and quiet. I even think it's one of the quietest campsites I've been to so far (and I've been to quite a few, because I've been going on vacation with my Ww all... my life). I also don't understand the criticism that people are unfriendly. I know a few of the permanent campers now and I couldn't say that they are friendlier or unfriendlier than other permanent campers and all I can say about the staff is that they aren't the most talkative, but they are friendly nonetheless. Apart from that, I would say that the pitches are nice and large and the new women's washroom is also very nice. As an excursion I recommend: * Dülmen (about 15 minutes by bike) * the Düb * Lüdinghausen, Vischering Castle * to eat: the "Mauritius Stube" chip shop in Hausdülmen and the San Remo ice cream parlorTradus automat.
- Bernd S.May 2012Properly managed campsite with clear rules. Clean sanitary facilities. Well-kept site with good privacy due to hedges. Sometimes unfortunately aircraft noise from the nearby airfield, otherwise wonderfully quiet. Ideal for cycling in the Münsterland.Tradus automat.
- Matthias B.March 2011We liked the place very much, but unfortunately a few details lowered the average to only 3: it is crazy loud due to the aerobatic planes from Borkenberge, as well as the country road on the property boundary. We also didn't like the fact that there were no bread rolls in the morning (at least we weren't... asked). However, the pitch itself is super nice, with several rows for tour campers, separated by rows of fir trees. In general, there were lots of fir trees, which we liked. We also absolutely cannot confirm the previous comments regarding the rules or unfriendliness. Sanitary facilities in great condition and cleaned every day! Shower (€0.50) and washing-up tokens (€0.25) can be returned if not needed. But unfortunately very loud - too bad!Tradus automat.
