- Beat H.June 2023PlusuriBeautifully situatedMinusuriMidday rest is not observed. Lots of vehicle traffic. Almost no cell phone connection and many dropouts. WLAN equals cell phone connection.San NicolaCamping has a beautiful beach. Facilities are clean. But are getting on in years. Dogs allowed. Was a nuisance during our visit. WauWau. Thank you dear dog owners. Beach very nice. Wanted to stay a week. Left after one night. Dogs and lack of internet. We already know Baia Holiday from Sardinia and have been loyal customers for 17 years. And if you complain you are still the fool.Tradus automat.
- Franz M.September 2021PlusuriGreat location, beautiful natureMinusuriNeglected, unkempt, very poor sanitary facilitiesunfortunately nothing more is investedUnfortunately, this beautifully situated campsite is completely neglected. Lawns are no longer mowed and bushes are no longer trimmed, which means that many pitches are no longer accessible. Sanitary facilities in desolate condition, path lighting broken and partly destroyed. Supermarket only has 30% stock, all other stores now closed. Employees accordingly motivated.
A great pity for this place......Tradus automat. - Detlev D.September 2020PlusuriSuper location, great barMinusuriIt is slowly but surely decayingThings are going downhillWe have been coming to this campsite at least once a year since 1986. Unfortunately, we have noticed more and more recently that very little is invested in the sanitary facilities. Everything is being repaired in a makeshift manner or simply locked. The appearance is also deteriorating.
The weeds are... growing diligently. Even if you want to move into your reserved pitch, you still have to make sure that it looks reasonably tidy.
We have therefore decided to avoid this otherwise beautiful site for the time being.Tradus automat. - walter s.September 2018PlusuriLocation near Pescici which can only be reached by car.MinusuriNot exactly professional how reservations are handled. Beach too small when fully booked.Written reservation not kept!3 hours before arrival we were informed by phone that our reserved and confirmed parking space in the first row could not be kept due to a booking error. The alternatives we were offered in the first row could not be taken because of the size of the camper van. Such machinations border on impertinence.... We left the campsite after just 3 days because we were not satisfied with our situation. Sanitary facilities are outdated but always kept clean. Beach nice, but when fully booked it gets very crowded....Tradus automat.
- Karl T.May 2018PlusuriGreat location, spacious groundsbeautiful vacation spotBeautifully situated in its own bay. Parceled pitches, some of which are shaded. Sanitary facilities are tidy and well maintained. The facilities on site are adequate and the restaurant offers good, simple cuisineTradus automat.
- Roland M.May 2018PlusuriLocation of the seaside pitches. 2 nice restaurants.MinusuriSanitary old. Quite expensive.Beautiful locationBeautifully situated in a bay. Quite steep access road. In mid-May only the front pitches were occupied and the associated sanitary facilities were open. There is no discount (AdacCard) for the pitches near the sea. Offer in the store was still minimal. The sanitary facilities are quite old and rated too good in the Adac camping guide.Tradus automat.
- Petra B.May 2018PlusuriBeautiful location in a bayMinusuriThere was no wifi in MayBeautiful location, but getting on in yearsWe were there at the beginning of May + you could choose your own seat - except for the 1st row - as far as possible + pizza in the restaurant was good - there was no WiFi yet - the grocery store was still closed. You could only stock up in the village, which meant a longer walk. - Sanitary facilities are getting on in years and were partly dirtyTradus automat.
- Patrick S.September 2017PlusuriClean sanitary facilities, everything you need on site, mostly German-speaking staff, good beachMinusuriMuddy plotsTypical large squareThere is virtually nothing wrong with this square. It is a typical large tourist site, as is the case in many places in Italy. You spend your vacation here among Swiss, Austrians and Germans. Most of the staff speak German. The toilets were spotlessly clean and a cleaning lady was on duty all day. The... bar on site with happy hour is great, the restaurant on site is also good (although not outstanding). The beach is also very nice and clean. However, it can get quite crowded in high season. The only really negative thing we noticed were the muddy pitches, which is because the ground is just bare earth. If you feel comfortable on pitches like this, this is the place for you. A perfect pitch. For us, pitches like this are only good for a few days, as you hardly notice you're in Italy (so some of this may sound a bit cynical, but no criticism, to each his own). Unfortunately, getting into town without a car is a bit tricky on this site.Tradus automat.

- Jürgen W.May 2017PlusuriBeautiful complex right by the seaMinusuriSteep serpentine driveBeautiful place right by the seaQuite a steep descent down to the site. The brakes are already squealing when you get to the bottom. Caution: Navi guides you through Peschici (at least my tomtom does). Peschici should be avoided in the direction of Vieste. Vieste. San Nicola is then signposted. Place opens on May 1st. Supermarket and... restaurant need time to cater for guests. Everything is still in the start-up phase. Craftsmen are busy. The reception is friendly. German is spoken. The sanitary facilities are clean and the W-Lan works (at least in the supermarket area).Tradus automat.
- Wolfgang S.May 2017PlusuriDirectly on the beach and very clean, very friendly staff.MinusuriWLAN all over the place but very expensive. Supermarket poorly stocked (the most necessary is available)Beautiful locationWe were in San Nicola in the preseason and had a pitch in the Orion area with a large motorhome that offered enough space, a beautiful sandy beach with a wonderful view and absolutely ok sanitary facilities. To Peschici about 2km.to walk a bit exhausting because serpentine road. Restaurant is good. ADAC card accepted without problems. had a nice stay.Tradus automat.
- Horst-D. W.July 2016PlusuriBeautiful bay, large pitchesMinusuriSanitary facilities partly out of order.Beautiful secluded locationWe were there at the beginning of July. The pitches by the sea are relatively small and were almost all full. So we looked for a pitch in the Andromeda area. The pitches there are huge, but the hillside location makes it difficult to position the caravan. As others have already written, there are still... plenty of ants. The sanitary facilities were not yet ready, as it was actually the middle of the season. This applied to all the sanitary buildings on the site. Unfortunately, we didn't like this and so we moved on after two days. The location in the bay is very nice. The food in the restaurant is good.Tradus automat.
- Peter K.May 2015PlusuriBeautiful sandy beach and very good swimming opportunities in the sea.MinusuriAs it was low season, the supermarket was not yet well stocked.Great placeBeautiful location, very nice places directly by the sea. Good restaurant and very nice cafe right on the beach.Tradus automat.
- Johann A.May 2015PlusuriPeace and quiet, beautiful location, clean water, friendly staffMinusuriNoneBeautiful locationThe campsite is beautifully situated in a bay with a sandy beach and surrounded by rocks. However, it can only be reached via a winding road. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The store and reception are at the top of the hill - so only physically fit people can get there by bike. W-Lan... is a matter of luck. The sanitary buildings are very clean and they are cleaned very diligently. The Ristorante Andromeda is highly recommended. The pizza, homemade pasta and the rest of the menu tastes excellent and the staff are very friendly. The cab service to Peschici works well and the cab is very punctual. The village can only be reached on foot via the access road (steep and winding). The pitches are large enough and although we were not in the front row, we had a view of the sea. Electricity was not a problem, the pitches are not all equipped with water and have no drainage.Tradus automat.
- K. G.June 2014Plusuridirectly on the beach - very cleanMinusuriPlayground getting on in yearsSuper placeWe actually wanted to go to Vieste but were really glad that we ended up at San Nicola. The site is great with huge and shady pitches (we weren't directly on the beach). It's very quiet as the site is in a bay and the access road ends there. The barrier and reception were always open during our visit,... so you could actually drive in and out at any time. The staff are extremely friendly and the site is very well maintained. Our sanitary block was always super clean (Emmanuela was always there to clean), there are two huge fridges and a washing machine (free of charge) in each sanitary block. The bar is very nice and is right on the beach (you could watch the World Cup games on a screen on the beach), the food in the restaurant was rather mediocre. The playground is unfortunately not that great, broken play equipment and no shade. But the beach is all the nicer and not too crowded.Tradus automat.
- Achim S.October 2013In the first row directly on the beach and with a wide sea view, it is fantastic, probably one of the most beautiful pitches in Italy, in the "Zona Orione" you are directly on the beach (20 pitches), in the "Zona Pegaso" there is only a small access road for the direct pitch users in front of it. This... is also worth the additional fee for the "Prima Fila", which is between €4 and €9 per day, depending on the season and "Zona". Book in good time. Or you may be lucky and find two or three interim days between reservations, so ask when you check in. --- Because in the second row, it is all the more frustrating: as a rule, you can't see anything of the sea or the beach in the "Zona Orione", as the residents in the first row all place their mobile homes across and then there is no view to the front. Even as a resident in the third row on the terrace, which is about one meter higher, you can only get a glimpse of the beach, but at least you can see the sea horizon when standing. In the second row of the "Zona Pegaso", you are behind tall bushes anyway and in the first part you are also on the main access road. - In any case, the bay and the 500-metre-long beach with super-fine sand are beautiful. Really great. At the eastern end there is also a medium-sized cave in the rocks, ideal as a pirate's treasure cave. Unfortunately, due to the northern orientation of the beach, there was no sunrise or sunset to be seen, everything happens behind the rocks (at least at the beginning of October). --- The campsite as a whole is quite large and very nice, the sanitary facilities (3 houses) are great for this southern area, toilets with a seat cover that (usually) folds up automatically, helps with cleanliness if the urinals are closed (like at the end of September/beginning of October). Toilet paper must of course be brought along. --- Annoying 1: the ants, we changed two places because of them. You can buy white anti-powder in the store, which was then visible on almost all pitches, but this only helps as a barrier for the vehicles, they can be a nuisance on the ground. --- Annoying 2: The bushes and branches grew very wild, good if you have your own pruning shears - but a bit of garden maintenance on the part of the operators would be nice, even at the beginning of October. --- Electricity: Normally 6A, but you can upgrade to 16A for an extra €2 per day. The fuse boxes are not freely accessible, but are broken open here and there. --- Not so nice either: The supermarket is high up on the hill of the spacious site, quite an effort for the morning rolls and cycling is not fun here either, unless you have 20 gears or thickly muscled thighs. --- Internet/WLAN is available in the supermarket for €7.50 for 5 or €10 for 10 hours, interruptible by the minute according to usage time - however, we had no reception at the pitch or in the supposed WLAN areas, it was fine upstairs at the supermarket. --- Incidentally, the fruit and vegetable market is a shopping highlight with a super-nice owner-seller and an excellent range of products. --- Recommended: Take the shuttle cab to Peschici, cost €3.50 per person there and back, pick-up super punctual (register at reception/direzione). Beautiful old town, small stores, restaurants - and if you like, you can also visit a medieval torture museum. There is a market in Peschici every Saturday and in Vierte on Mondays (if you have a car). --- Also recommended: take a walk to the next and next but one bay (Zaiana and Manaccora, in between prehistoric rock tomb caves in the PAP), a small path leads up the rocks, the big forest fire in 2007 has made a clear view. --- All in all, a very recommendable place, especially - as already written - if you can stay in the beachfront area. We will certainly be back. The days here are also worth the somewhat adventurous journey, the last 10 km are on a narrow, winding mountain road with hairpin bends and serpentines, if you like it, you'll have fun. The route via Rodi is a little less problematic, but it also has its fun moments up to and in Rodi itself. In any case, there were also big ships on the CP and long caravans anyway, so it's manageable.Tradus automat.
- Ronald K.October 2013Great spacious complex with friendly staff. Many regular guests. They usually occupy the best pitches, so you can only get a well-located pitch in the low season.Tradus automat.
- Christopher D.September 2013We were there as a couple (<25) from 09.09-12.09.2013 with car and tent. The pitches are very spacious, so that car and tent (even large tents, we had a 4-man tent) easily fit. The (large) site is beautifully designed and situated with lots of greenery and the pitches are separated by hedges, which provides... some intimacy and peace and quiet. It was very quiet at night except for the sound of the sea. But this could also be due to the low season. There wasn't too much going on at the campsite, which - as other visitors have already mentioned - was also reflected in the supermarket's range of products, which otherwise seemed to leave nothing to be desired. There are also adapters for the campsite power plugs, lots of camping accessories in general and we were even able to equip ourselves with a hammer. However, you can still get the most necessary things. The croissants (cornetti) were very tasty. There is even an extra fruit and vegetable stall next to the supermarket with a very nice operator. The campsite's own restaurant was very nice, partly right on the beach and the service and food were good. It was noticeable that it was already low season and not too much was going on, as the staff were mostly understretched and stood around doing nothing. The general cleanliness of the campsite cannot be criticized. Fallen needles from the trees were constantly swept up. There is also a café/bar right on the beach with seating and all kinds of food and drink (including ice cream (unpackaged)) and lots of vending machines and a table football table for the children. The sanitary facilities were quite clean, although some of the toilet seats in the wash house on the beach below (there is another one further in, which is also much larger) were broken. Apart from the general things, the following things should be emphasized: - there are no (free) sunbeds for campsite members; the sunbeds and umbrellas a little to the east, which obviously belong to the campsite, cost 15 € per day; there is an area where you can make yourself comfortable with a towel or sunbeds/chairs you have brought yourself - at least at the time we were there (possibly all of 2013) there were no sunbeds on the campsite. all of 2013) there was a decent ant infestation on the site; the ants had made a road through our awning after the first night and had taken over our car. Unfortunately, there was no advice from the operators, although they (at least those at reception) spoke very good German; in the supermarket there was powder to repel them and various other things for just under 5 euros. All unoccupied pitches were also provided with this white powder (at least in places). - We only paid €23 per night instead of €27.30 (2 p., tent, car) as we were under 25 years old. - There are two refrigerators and even a freezer that is open to all visitors (for cooling your own things) All in all, a campsite to be recommended with a well-stocked supermarket, tasty restaurant, nice service and a high level of cleanliness.Tradus automat.
- Carmen W.September 2013Wonderful CP. Crystal clear water, super clean toilets, charming location and pleasantly quiet at night. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The only downside was that we were at the campsite in September and there was very little on offer in the market.Tradus automat.
- Gabi W.July 2013PlusuriEverything you need can be found on site.Minusuritoo little free sunbathing space on the beachA little paradiseEverything is just right here. Very nice place, clean sea with a pleasant temperature. Good food in the restaurant. Great ice cream in the coffee bar. What is annoying is that it is almost impossible to find a place to lie down because everything is largely occupied by rental deckchairs and the bay is very small.Tradus automat.
