Attempted bodily harm to my baby!!!The place was well maintained and well laid out, but unfortunately that was it. I would only give this place 0 stars if it were possible!
You should not go to this place with children, especially babies who are not yet able to walk or stand on their own as, according to the cleaning staff, baby carriages... or buggies are unfortunately not allowed in the wash houses... To top it all off, after the attempted ejection from the wash house, a door was slammed against the buggy! Fortunately, my little one escaped with a scare.
When I asked on departure whether they wanted to compensate us in any way for what we had experienced, I was told that they would have to speak to the owner first and would definitely get back to me by email the same day. I then dutifully paid and relied on it.
After two days I then asked about it, whereupon I quickly received an email back telling me that a letter with a voucher had already been sent to me and whether I had received it yet. I hadn't, which is why I wanted to wait a few more days.
As I had a lot to do, I realized about 3 weeks later that no letter had arrived yet, so I contacted them again. Unfortunately, I didn't get anything more than the statement that the letter had gone out. and no further reply to my message that no letter had arrived.
Set! 6!
So absolutely hands off this place! The operators are not responsible for the behavior of the staff in the first place, but to leave the customer out in the rain after an incident is below all canons!
PS: Too bad that you (operators) ruined our short trip with you with this incident. We will definitely NEVER come back.

We also found the snack bar quite good.MinusuriThe shower cards, I think the system has become outdated and is no longer appropriate for a star campsite, this can be regulated differently and better.Achtern Dieck is also beautiful.We were on the campsite relatively spontaneously for a short trip over Ascension Day 2022 and got a really outstanding pitch with a continuous green lawn, I've never experienced anything like it, every camper knows it, you can see immediately where the caravan is and where the awning is, there is usually... a sandy and sometimes muddy area, but here was the greenest lawn ever, really great. And then the reception also apologized for the pitch because it was supposedly so narrow, so that was really unnecessary for us, quite the opposite.
The weather was extremely poor, 4 days of rain and storms, which is why we unfortunately couldn't use much of the pitch, or the children, but there are plenty of reasonable activities for the kids. The pitch offered everything you need, i.e. electricity, water and sewage directly at the pitch, the satellite dish also found its transmitter because the tree population was present but not excessive. The snack bar was okay, the food tasted good, the price was okay, the service was a bit snotty in tone, but I can deal with that.
There is a small store with a bread roll service, the rolls are ordered and paid for the day before and are then ready for collection the next morning, which worked really well, so you can also send the children off sometimes.

The staff team is extremely friendly and helpful. The pitches are well drained, no puddles even after 1 week of rain and a dry awning. The pitches are parceled out and mostly separated by hedges, the dog-free pitch area is particularly... worth mentioning. Good starting point for excursions to SPO, Friedrichstadt, Büsum, Husum, but also the wider area as far as Neumünster (outlet) or Eckernförde on the Baltic Sea side. We had a rented bathroom in the front sanitary block, which was functionally equipped and well cleaned when we moved in. But the regular sanitary facilities are also good and modern. The snack bar on site offers a manageable and tasty range of food at fair prices. We did not make use of the bread roll service. Only the electricity price of 0.65 EUR/kWh is quite expensive. Overall we had - despite 1 week of rain of a total of 2 weeks - a very nice and relaxing vacation. In Tönning we can recommend the Cafe Hafenblick, but also the Greek restaurant on the market square.Tradus automat.- Ju E.September 2020PlusuriThe good and large rental bathroomMinusuriSimple pitch on the lawn without hedge or boundary to the neighbor. Little variety for a 5 star facility.Good campsite with restrictionsWe didn't really like this site. We had a simple pitch on the lawn without a boundary to the neighbor. His motorhome was less than 2 meters away from us. Electricity, drinking water and waste water were available on the pitch. In the evening there was a disturbing noise from the many screeching birds.... Our rented bathroom was large enough and modern. The scullery, however, was not very clean. There is a small snack bar on the pitch with tasty burgers and chips at reasonable prices. There are also plenty of hygiene dispensers. The paths are only sparsely lit in the late evening.Tradus automat.

- Ute M.February 2019PlusuriClean sanitary facilities; campsite near Tönning and EiderMinusuriYou are not allowed to park your caravan on the motorhome pitches with the beautiful view of the Eider, even in winter.Caravan camper = 2nd class?We were there with the caravan at the end of February/beginning of March 2019 and wanted to go to the Kapitänsplatz because of the beautiful view of the Eider. (We had already been there in 2016). Unfortunately, we were denied this on the grounds that only motorhomes were allowed there, even though there... were only 2-3 motorhomes on this (and the other) motorhome site, which did not change during the whole week, as it was absolutely low season. The boss could not be persuaded on the grounds that otherwise he would "get into trouble with the motorhome owners". So we were annoyed, but then took a pitch on the campsite due to a lack of alternatives in the area. What a pity! So next time we'll have to look for a campsite where we can park our caravan right by the water.Tradus automat.

The indoor area with play and reading facilities for the little ones is great. The sanitary facilities were great. The staff were Nordic friendly. As often mentioned, the view from the pitch is not great (unless you have a camper van). The site is great for day trips in the region.
