Making contact via the homepage worked perfectly. Our wish to get a pitch where we could park with a trailer was also fulfilled. The reception was very friendly... and the sanitary facilities are good. The pitch is lovingly and individually laid out. Not very large, so rather quiet. Everything made a very well-kept impression. The pitches are generously sized. Power points and water points are easily accessible. Waste water and chemical toilets are disposed of at the sanitary building. By the way, the bread rolls were excellent 🙂. We have made firm plans to book there again for a longer stay. P.S.: it wasn't really possible to give a proper assessment of the leisure facilities in the short time available.Tradus automat.
Volker L.July 2021PlusuriLocation Peace and quietMinusuriFood offer could be biggerQuiet, beautifully situated but also a caution...This is basically a beautifully situated, quiet and friendly campsite. The proximity to the lake with its large sunbathing lawn is great, and the pedal boat rental and mini golf facilities there are also very good. However, access to the lake is a little awkward: to be allowed to use it as a camper,... you have to pick up wristbands at the campsite reception.
Bread roll service, small snacks and drinks are offered by the very friendly family who run the campsite.
However, we were disappointed to find that the sanitary facilities are nicely designed, new and adequately sized, but they need to be cleaned more often and, above all, more thoroughly so that they don't become a thing of the past in the near future. This point of criticism also goes to the fellow campers, as they (as is unfortunately the case on many campsites) often don't take the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities very seriously. Always a pity. I hope that the friendly operator can counteract this.
Nevertheless: a place worth recommending! The internet worked perfectly. Fresh baked goods could be picked up every morning if ordered in advance....
The location to the lake is very nice. There is a fantastic playground next door for families.
The area also offers plenty of variety, hiking and beautiful towns.
Unfortunately the weather didn't play along during our stay.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The showers lack a shelf for shower gel and shampoo. Both have to be placed on the floor. Washing gloves or washcloths cannot be hung up while showering. A hook would help here (or a tray for shower gel with a place to hang something... on it). The separation between the wet area and the changing area is too small. The front area for undressing and dressing always gets wet. A door would keep a lot out here. A small shelf is also missing here for people who wear glasses.
Yesterday the CP was largely filled with families with several children (of different ages). I have nothing against children (I'm a father myself), but the kids should be told that the paths (main paths) are not bicycle or scooter racing tracks. There are also other campers (including older people) walking here who can't jump to the side when several bicycles come racing up from behind at high speed and then shout "Move over".
There is a playground on the campsite and an adventure playground right next door. Here the kids can run around and play soccer with their fathers. Not between or in front of the caravans and certainly not on the paths where the arriving and departing campers drive their camper vans and caravans.
The operator is also required to put a stop to this with the help of the groundsman.
Furthermore, seasonal campers, couples and families should be better separated and not mixed.
The size of the campsite is very nice. But even a family-friendly campsite has rules that apply to all campers, including families and children.Tradus automat. - Jens W.August 2020PlusuriThe sanitary facilities were sufficiently available. The dirt in the corners of the toilet cubicles was noticeable. Furthermore, it wasn't exactly quiet on the pitch. It only got better after 11pm.
Then the gastronomy on the square, not really friendly to get a table in the shade, for example, or... to reserve, there was simply no way around it, impossible (the other tables were still all unoccupied).
Conclusion, if you want to write comfort on your flags, you have to improve.Tradus automat.

As for the prices, we paid the same with bicycles and a 7 m2 tent as if we had come with a car and a big caravan (including electricity). You know it, but you don't have to like it.

Advantages: + Campsite is beautifully situated + Small and not overcrowded (when we were there), + Sanitary facilities clean and adequate. + Restaurants nearby Disadvantages - Little shade. - The Seeburger See is often closed for swimming in hot weather due to blue-green... algae. - The place is very expensive for hikers and cyclists, because they pay as much for the pitch as a motorhome with two people. - The owner of the campsite takes some getting used to. An older Dutchman with a grumpy, sometimes choleric temperament. When we arrived, he was just stepping out of his little house and before we could say anything other than "Hello", he grumbled grumpily: "I've got some work to do, wait here!" and disappeared. This tone of voice continued without any apparent reason. His hands were shaking as he wrote, perhaps he was stressed. On one occasion I heard him ranting about Germans in conversation with fellow countrymen. The employee in the restaurant is very nice. He seems to regard even the most banal, friendly questions or requests as an imposition.Tradus automat.
