- Sascha F.June 2019PlusuriFriendly, inexpensive, clean, straightforward without frills.MinusuriSmall plots without separation.Recommendation!I can only agree with the previous speakers, PStyle and Thomas. There is nothing to complain about here. We felt very comfortable here. Everything was very clean and manageable. Small pitches without separation by hedges or similar, but still very pleasant. Perhaps also due to the beautiful town of Tropea... with its delicious restaurants and pretty stores. But the beach is also impressive. A long, wide sandy beach directly on the cliff below Tropea. Very perfect! The bread trolley really doesn't arrive until around 9.00 am and sometimes there is also a fish trolley selling fresh fish. Great offer!Tradus automat.
- Thomas R.May 2018BellisimoGreat managed campsite, the whole family helps out here. Everyone is very friendly and helpful and the sanitary facilities are very clean. Nothing more needs to be said about Tropea and its beaches...Tradus automat.
- Patrick S.September 2017PlusuriGood price-performance ratio, clean sanitary facilities, good locationMinusuriNo supermarket or similar. In the immediate vicinity, few toilets and showers. Possibly for one or the other: Pitch atmosphereGood place to visit TropeaThis small site is located at the foot of the steps that lead from the sea to the town. The atmosphere is a mixture of pitch and campsite. The pitches are separated by trees and are level and clean. The site is well sheltered and slightly set back, which is a clear advantage in stronger winds and offers... protection. The sanitary facilities were very clean, but unfortunately a little tight. There are only 4 showers, 4 washing areas and 2 men's and 4 women's toilets for the whole site. A hot shower costs €0.50, which is fine in my opinion. The staff are very friendly, even if information about the site and the surrounding area is only available on request. The supply at the campsite is a bit more difficult, as there are no stores nearby and you have to bring everything down from the city (we remember the stairs). A bread roll service does come, but unfortunately only at 9:00, which was a bit too late for us. The beach is easily accessible, although not particularly beautiful (in our opinion), but you don't go here mainly to swim. All in all, it's a place with a good price-performance ratio (at least in the low season).Tradus automat.
- Kathrin O.July 2017PlusuriClean, quiet location, 2 min. to the public beach. Restaurant between campsite and beach. Campsite with approx. 50 pitches.MinusurinoneBeautifully situated, quiet campsite close to the town of TropeaWe came to this place on recommendation and really enjoyed it. Turn right on the one-way street and after 10!!! meters turn left. The daughter speaks English. The road takes you to a staircase to the town of Tropea. Wonderful view of the St. Maria peninsula and campsite. Beautiful old town with many restaurants, good for shopping and strolling. We would love to come back. Very nice and attentive owners. Well-kept, quiet site.Tradus automat.
- Rudolf O.June 2017PlusuriNot too big, very well maintained, very helpfulMinusuriif at all then perhaps "because not directly by the sea", but from Tropea town you have 1000 wonderful views!Perfect for a visit to TropeaWe decided to choose this site on a recommendation and we were not disappointed. There are around 40 pitches, all in the shade with very tall trees, making it ideal for large motorhomes. There is a second exit for very large motorhomes. The site is super level on light-colored gravel (very well maintained).... Please be sure to visit the homepage, there you can see everything that is important! Very friendly family, there is always someone there, the site is virtually safe. The stairs leading up to Tropea are just a stone's throw away, as is the beach and the public beach to the right of the unique monastery on the rock. Everything is perfect!Tradus automat.
- Barbara & Rudi O.May 2017PlusuriClean, sufficient sanitary facilities, shady and very well-kept site. At ground level on white gravel.Minusuri-Small but niceWe actually wanted to go to another site in Tropea, one was still closed and the other was right behind this pitch/campsite, so we ended up here and don't regret it at all. Although this site has no direct view of the sea and no pitches by the sea, it is wonderfully shady thanks to the very tall trees... and is absolutely clean. You walk 2 minutes to the Marina dell'Isola beach and 5 minutes to the public beach to the left of Santa Maria del Isola - a paradise with a fantastic backdrop in May - more beautiful than the camping beach. The site is guarded 24 hours a day by the owner, who takes care of cleanliness with the whole family and is always available to answer questions about Tropea. As Tropea itself has an infinite number of good restaurants, there is no need for catering at the campsite. Opposite the campsite is the staircase leading up to the town of Tropea. On arrival, you are given a business card from a friend's restaurant, just a few steps from the square, with a discount for the first visit. The restaurant is perfectly fine and suitable if you don't want to climb stairs in the evening. We'll be back next year!Tradus automat.
