- Jonas R.July 2024Plusuri- great pitches with shade, bookable directly on the riverbank - the somewhat dry riverbed invites you to explore and look for places to swim. We had the river almost to ourselves at the beginning of July - generally very quiet, peaceful atmosphere on the site (with the exception of the pool at lunchtime, of course) - well-kept sanitary facilities - restaurant in the courtyard around the Domaine not cheap but great atmosphere - our son loved the water slides - the staff very friendly and helpfulMinusuri- Stay too shortWhat an idyll by the riverWe spent a few wonderful days on the idyllic River Baume and will definitely be back.Tradus automat.
- joerg H.August 2023PlusuriVery large pitches, great location by the riverMinusurinothingVery nice and super friendlyWe have really enjoyed it so far (we are still on site) and it is highly recommended for camping in the low season.Tradus automat.
- Dorothee B.April 2019Plusuri- Leisure activities on site - spacious pitches - friendly staffMinusuri- partly free-roaming dogsSoak up the sun during the Easter vacationsWe stayed at the campsite two years ago and enjoyed our stay again. Staff are very friendly and helpful, communication also possible in English and German. Sanitary facilities were cleaned at least once a day. The pitches (meadow) are spacious and most pitches are shaded by large trees. Table tennis,... tennis, mini golf, table football, pool and slide tower, as well as the river invite you to spend your free time on the site. Hiking, kayaking and mountain biking are possible in the immediate vicinity (cycling less so, as there are few cycle paths). The restaurant was good, but some dishes (on both visits) were only lukewarm (but it was also busy). The mini market was well stocked, baguettes etc. could be pre-ordered. The campsite is also suitable for groups.Tradus automat.
- Bernd W.June 2018PlusuriQuiet location right on the river, very friendly owner and friendly staff, ideal for outdoor activitiesMinusuriI can't think of any!Family-friendly and comfortableWe have been coming to this campsite for over 30 years, most recently at Whitsun 2018, and have always been more than satisfied. The family and staff are very friendly and more than helpful. Whether on one of the spacious pitches or in the very comfortable and clean Mobilhomme, we were always very satisfied.... The location on the river and the fantastic surroundings invite you to linger at the campsite but also to go on wonderful hikes or kayak tours. At the small supermarket you can get fresh baguettes, croissants and all the essentials in the morning, you don't have to buy outside as the prices are lower than outside, especially for fresh regional fruit and vegetables. A good restaurant and free WLAN leave nothing to be desired. I would also like to emphasize the child-friendliness! All in all, a place for an active vacation and for relaxing with great recreational valueTradus automat.
- Heike H.September 2017PlusuriHeated sanitary building beautiful swimming pool supermarkets (Lidl and Intermarché at 2.5 km)MinusuriMissing toilet paper + hand basin with soap dispenserQuiet location directly on the BeaumeOur first impression of the site was not exactly positive: the entire campsite on the riverbank was empty, the electrical connections had been removed and all the campers were crowded together in the top 2 rows along the road. This did not correspond at all to our idea of an idyllic, free camper life... in the off-season. According to the manager, however, the pitches facing the shore were not allowed to be occupied in September due to the risk of flooding. Once we had come to terms with the circumstances, we really liked it, especially the heated sanitary building (unfortunately, as is often the case in France, without toilet paper and we also missed a hand basin with soap dispenser) and the lovely swimming pool. Although this is not heated and takes some effort after night-time temperatures of 6-10 degrees, it is big enough to swim a few lengths. The area is great for cycling and visiting the many markets (Wednesday in Joyeuse, Friday in Ruoms and Saturday in Les Vans). The Caverne de Pont d'Arc (45 minutes by car) is also worth a visit (tickets can be booked online at reception)Tradus automat.
- Dieter M.September 2014PlusuriVery nice restaurant and swimming pool, new toilet block.MinusuriThe river overflowed its banks, very heavy rain and we were woken up at woken up at 2.30 a.m. and had to leave the campsite.Highly recommendedThe place is located on a river, the place operator, his daughter and wife, very helpful and friendly, I can only thank you.Tradus automat.
- Thomas R.August 2014Beautiful campsite at La BaumeVery nice campsite. The sanitary facilities were dirty at times as some people could not behave. But they were cleaned twice a day. Very nice starting point for activities in the area. Lots of markets and small towns in the immediate vicinity. Great price/performance ratioTradus automat.
