Absolutely reasonable prices out of season
We have stayed at the campsite for several years during the Whitsun vacations. The walk to the beach is a bit long - but no problem by bike. Great excursion possibilities both by bike and by car. Not quite so full in the low season - we were here once in August, which was borderline. We stayed at the... campsite several times between 2005 and 2013. We visited again in September 2019 and were absolutely thrilled. We had a pitch with our own sanitary block, fridge and washing facilities. Simply top!

In the period we were there it was far too full, so the sanitary facilities looked accordingly. The pool area is far too narrow, the pools should be more apart. It was not possible to get a lounger. To the sea you walked forever on a gravel path with dog poo left and right. No toilets by the sea.

Huge campsite close to the sea
The campsite is about 500m from the sea, so even older children can easily go to the beach on their own. The pool area is also huge. There is a winery right next door, so you can also buy open wine or bottles from the campsite itself. Apart from the campsite, it is quiet. The campsite has pretty much... everything you can imagine (e.g. bike rental). However, if you want to do something (apart from the pool or beach) you need a car, as there are only other similar campsites in the area.

Great campsite
We have already been to this campsite 3 times - each time in a mobile home in the "Levante" corner. The mobile homes were in top condition - some of them brand new - and well equipped. The wash houses are clean. There is a supermarket, beach boutique and boulangerie on the site. Everything is ok in terms... of price and well equipped. The restaurant is good for a campsite - solid brasserie quality, the pizzas are delicious. Evening entertainment goes on until around 11pm. You can also hear this in the mobile homes, pitches around the pool and restaurant area. It didn't bother us. If you want it quiet, you should choose a pitch at the back of the campsite. The beach is about 500m away and can be reached via a small path through the dunes. A small "train" runs regularly in front of the campsite to the village of Valras in summer - there is a nice market and nice restaurants here. We will be back this year!

Cars too fast, too much traffic. Officially only 10km/h allowed, most drive 25km/h. Restaurant only mediocre, 300m to the beach.
Nice complex with large pool for younger guests
The large pool area is certainly a highlight for younger guests, even if it is certainly very busy in high season. (This is not the operator's fault)

The site offers nothing except a great pool area. Some of the pitches have trees in the middle of the driveway, no chance without a mover. The grass is not mowed or only mowed irregularly, the bathrooms on the high-comfort pitches are not cleaned. The management allocates usable pitches to campers with... tents, large caravans cannot set up their awnings. The staff is overwhelmed and unfriendly. Too bad, if the management were better there would be a lot of room for improvement, so I can only say, move on there are many better places in the area

Nice place with a nice swimming pool and great infrastructure, in the evening in the high season the entertainment program was great and the hospitality is top. The stores have a good range and are reasonably priced. The climbing forest is a highlight At the reception you feel welcome and always have a friendly contact person

Relaxing family vacation
Great place with lots of opportunities for children to have fun. Great bakery and the restaurant is also good. The supermarket is a bit expensive but there are enough stores outside for the big shopping. The staff were all very friendly on the site. We stayed on a "Grand Confort" pitch with its own toilet,... shower, washbasin, sink and fridge in a small hut on the pitch. The general toilets made a neat and clean impression during the rare visits. Above all, the price/performance ratio is still good in contrast to some other pitches with less/equal comfort, especially in Croatia and Italy. Depending on the pitch, it's a 7-10 minute walk to the beach. In contrast to our usual practice, we are returning to the site this year. What you have to live with everywhere in France (if there is animation) is that the evening program likes to go until 23:00 or a little longer, that's in the DNA of our neighbors.

We stayed at this campsite in August 2013, 2 adults and our grandchild 16 mths old. We had booked a rental accommodation (Syrha, Citrus) for 5 weeks. But we left after 10 DAYS!!! It was the purest disaster and how this place gets its 4 stars in the ADAC guide is a mystery to us. Every day we had 3-4x... droppings from several pigeons on our terrace from the mobile home and also on the forecourt.we had to scrub the mobile home from top to bottom on our arrival and free it from this pigeon dirt.we also had to clean everything thoroughly inside first because everything was dirty and sticky. After we had complained about this at the reception, the campsite management's terse reply was: "Unfortunately we can't do anything about it, it's just nature. Unfortunately, pigeon droppings in particular are very dangerous to health and with a 16 mth old toddler who also plays on the ground, simply dangerous because of diseases etc.". Another place offered to us was exactly the same problem and it was also considerably smaller! So after 10 days of futile attempts to somehow solve the problem, we drew the only possible conclusions and went back home. WE DIDN'T GET A SINGLE EURO BACK FROM THE 5 WEEKS WE HAD PAID IN FULL! I THINK THAT'S PRETTY PATHETIC FOR A CAMPSITE OPERATOR. Arrogance and unfriendliness are at the top of the list at this campsite! DEFINITELY NOT TO BE RECOMMENDED WITH CHILDREN!!!! The other facilities on this site (toilets, showers, paths, playground, etc.) were also consistently unkempt and not clean. We took photos of everything and were horrified, as we are used to something completely different and much, much better after 25 years at the Brasilia campsite in Canet Plage. We will never make the mistake of trying a new campsite again.

We were on La Yole for 9 years with a youth group of 40 15 to 18 year olds. Anyone who organizes such tours privately and out of idealism knows about the associated problems. La Yole accommodated us for 9 years with a big heart but in return for a lot of cash. Our group noise was tolerated, only a "pool... raid" with 40 young people who were too lazy to walk the 15 minutes / 500 meters ? to the sea was not appreciated. The place was great for young people and children. Good, loud, cross-national animation until midnight was perfect. Sanitary facilities, electricity and water supply are good. La Yole has now overdone it with the shading. We looked at the site again in August 2013 and are glad that, despite a total transfer amount of approx. 45,000 euros over 9 years, we were not (or no longer) wanted with or for our fixed caravan due to non-reservation. The pitch is no longer recognizable: Shading without end, a consistent pushing back of tent and caravan pitches in favor of fixed mobile homes, A dismantling of the boules courts, more parking spaces, considerably more expensive wine and the gate to the beach already closes at 21:00, so that after 21:00 the way to the place is extended from 15 to about 20 to 25 minutes. My CONCLUSION: WE HAD 9 EXPENSIVE BUT GREAT YEARS WITH A YOUTH GROUP. The time is over and now we are glad that we have found a pitch next door at "La Plage". But: FOR SHADOW SEEKING FAMILIES WITH GOOD HIKING SHOES THERE IS A TOP EQUIPPED STERN PITCH WITH ANIMATON AND CLEAN SANITARY FACILITIES, which guarantees entertainment, care and safety. Expensive - but comfortable. We enjoyed staying here for 9 years, and that can say more than 100 lines.

Large place with a good bakery and good entertainment (but only in French). The sun loungers by the pool are in great demand and in short supply. There are no parasols. As we had our own sunbeds it was no problem for us. Drinks are allowed at the pool but no food. The pitches for tents and camper vans... alternate with mobile homes on the site. Our pitch was quiet and quite large No. 2021 Reglisse. The staff are very courteous and helpful. As we had bikes on board, getting to the beach was no problem. It is a bit of a walk, especially with beach equipment. The climbing park, which is attached to the campsite, is easy to climb and takes about 1.5 hours. A discount store and a large supermarket are about 5km away. The sanitary facilities were very clean.

We stayed at this campsite in July 2011. The site is quite large and spacious. During the day it is quite loud and turbulent near the pool area. The entertainment program was gigantic and absolutely recommendable. We found it a pity that the gate to the beach was closed in the evening, so that you had... to walk all the way around the campsite to go to the beach in the evening :-( The sanitary facilities were very clean and were cleaned several times a day. There is a well-stocked supermarket on the campsite. However, it is recommended to go to the Lidl in Valras Plage for a bulk purchase. What was disadvantageous was the 10-15 minute walk to the beach ...... if you forget something on the pitch.
