Lots of shade.MinusuriThe pitches lack flatness and a few strokes of the bucket in winter would be welcome. The sanitary facilities at the top of the campsite could do with a major overhaul: The doors open the wrong way, and an accident in the shower or toilet would be fatal. The timer should be replaced by a presence detector for the night. Scaling the shower heads is no luxury! Solar-powered lights along walkways for night-time use. Non-slip tiling for greater safety. The campsite is well shaded, but trimming dead branches could prevent unexpected and, above all, dangerous falls. In summer certainly nice outdoor pool and great view. Friendly service. Quiet.MinusuriOnly rudimentary operation at Easter. Sanitary facilities in basic mode. Getting on in years, but still functional. The location of the site is very nice, as it is slightly on a slope and you have a beautiful view of the valley slope opposite from most of the pitches. The typical Jura motif with the Jura edge in the upper part. Very quiet and some of the pitches are sloping. However, if occupancy permits, you will... be directed to the more level pitches. The site has many chalets, but at Easter, when we were there, they were hardly occupied. The reception and service is very nice, even if, like us, you hardly speak any French. However, if you go to France-Comte, you should definitely speak some French, otherwise it will be quite difficult. Arrival and departure were handled very flexibly. Of course we had overlooked the specified times but were still served. The area is very attractive. It is advisable to take the Jura travel guide from the Oase publishing house, which is very informative. Many of the campsite facilities were not yet in operation at Easter as it was still quite cool. Sanitary clean but without heating. Shower water does not cost extra, but was only lukewarm. Water supply on the pitch only worked partially. There were therefore long distances to walk. Flushing water was also lukewarm, no toilet paper and no toilet seat, I froze my butt off. No restaurant in April, small store for the essentials, bread roll service is quite expensive, we didn't use it. The other campsite in Ornans is more comfortable, but also has more bells and whistles. Both are quiet. The other campsites in the Loue valley are often right next to the river or road. In terms of tranquillity, Le Chanet is certainly one of the best. However, the price is also quite high compared to the others. Our somewhat low star rating may be due to the early season. Many things were not yet in operation. The site was still in hibernation.Tradus automat.
