We made trips to Vienna and hiking in the Vienna Woods from here and have not regretted our decision. It's right next to the S-Bahn station and you can leave your car/motorhome there. The proximity to the Danube with bathing opportunities is also great. The pitches are large enough, but with a caravan and car it can quickly become cramped. But highly recommended as a starting point for Vienna.Tradus automat.
- Oliver F.July 2023PlusuriGood transport connections to Vienna by bus and train. You can also easily reach the city by bike on the Danube cycle path. Very well maintained, sanitary facilities always very clean. The bathing area on the Danube can be reached by bike in about 10 minutes, as can the nearby lido. The small restaurant on the site offers very good food at very good prices.MinusuriFor the sanitary facilities at the reception you need an access chip for which you have to leave a 10€ deposit. I don't know why this is the case. It's only annoying if you're standing in front of a locked door without a chip.Highly recommendedWe were on the pitch in temperatures of more than 30 degrees. We had a pitch that was fully exposed to the sun from midday onwards, but that wasn't a problem as we spent the first few days sightseeing in Vienna and the hottest day on the Pioneer Island in and on the Danube.
We didn't have our dog with... us, but many other campers had their four-legged friends with them.

The sanitary facilities are only moderately adequate for the number of guests - taking a shower in the morning or washing up when everyone has just finished dinner involves long waiting times.
The staff were very friendly at check-in and check-out and always ready to advise on excursions.Tradus automat. - Bernhard H.June 2022PlusuriClose to Vienna, public transport connections, cleanMinusuriVery small pitches (--> no tandem axles allowed!) and therefore hardly any distance to the neighbors, only very poorly equipped kiosk, few separate washing areas in the sani, trampoline costs extraBetter than okay, clean, but quite narrow...We were at this campsite over Whitsun 2022 and "ended up" there because of its close proximity to Vienna.
We arrived at night and were allowed to spend the night on the site in front of the gate. However, the access road is sloping, which is why we had to maneuver the caravan all the way back to the... gate so that the caravan was reasonably straight. Unfortunately, we didn't manage the late arrival until 10 pm.
The site is wonderfully close to Vienna, and I would describe the S-Bahn and bus connections to Vienna as really excellent. Buses usually run every 1/4 hour. A day ticket with Vienna and Klosterneuburg costs €9.50 per person, so parking and the associated costs in Vienna don't pay off at all.
The pitches are already very small for caravans. If you put up an awning, the pitch fills up quickly, the car is a bit out of the way, but that's not a problem.
Power supply is also okay, cable connection is available, but I didn't see anyone using it. WLAN available, but not very fast (probably depending on the number of users).
The new sanitary facilities are very spacious and clean, but there is only one separate wash cubicle for the men, otherwise only open washbasins and showers. There are enough toilets and they are well maintained.
The kiosk is - well - "narrow-chested". Better to shop 1.5 km further on at Billa or something (the bus even stops right in front of it).
Important: Tandem bikes are not allowed on the site! But the pitches are too small for that.
I think it's a real shame that the trampoline at the entrance costs extra (2.50 euros for 10 minutes, roughly...). But the playground opposite is also very nice for the kids.
You can hear the nearby railroad line a bit, as well as the odd airplane, but it doesn't really bother you.
Good for a city trip, but I wouldn't want to stay there for a longer vacation. Very friendly and helpful staff, who work purposefully and correctly without being too pushy. Sanitary facilities clean and well maintained.

quickly with friendly staff.
The city center with all stores is within walking distance and a bicycle store as well as a large outdoor pool and indoor pool with sports facilities directly on site.
We felt very comfortable there and especially enjoyed the very good transport links to the capital Vienna. Vienna is always worth a visit.
Especially recommended if you want to go on bike tours along the Danube to Vienna and the surrounding area.

Directly in front of the campsite a cycle path to Vienna. The pitch is not very cheap. When full, the pitches are almost too small. Your neighbor inevitably puts the white wall in front of... your view. It was cruel that there were only two men's toilets. The men were queuing from 6 o'clock in the morning. Which I found embarrassing. For the price, that simply doesn't work. There is also a lot of change on the site. Many visitors come for 2-3 days and then move on.Tradus automat.

The cleanliness and tranquility of the area fit us perfectly. A separate part of the area is reserved for tents. The area is green and flat. The ground is hard grassy.
