It's a great place to relax and we've already been able to explore the surrounding towns and countryside. The seats inside are quite limited. Due to the layout, the pitch is well laid out and it's easy to make contact with the other guests.
It was a pity that the bread roll service was not available this week due to the baker's vacation. Guests were only informed of... this on request, but by then it was already too late. Those who didn't have anything with them had to drive to the bakery the next morning.
The outdoor pool is a great place to cool off, in the truest sense of the word. Since it was heated by solar energy, it was quite a challenge.
The small sanitary facilities (2 unisex showers and 2 toilets per gender) were always clean.
There were different opinions about the restaurant. From quite ok to ready-made (frozen schnitzel). Hilsbachtal campsite for the first time. Due to the corona situation, a vacation in Germany was announced.
The planned 4 nights turned into 13.
The site is in a wonderful area. You can do lots of things (hiking, cycling...) or just relax... on the site.
We particularly liked the fact that the site is very clean and that the hygiene concept is well thought out and adhered to by everyone. We therefore felt very safe.
However, when the site is full, you sometimes have to search for a clean toilet, but that probably says more about the users than about the cleaners. The sanitary blocks were cleaned thoroughly twice a day.
The children immediately found friends of the same age and were only at the caravan to eat.
The pitch is fused with 16Ah, so we were able to use all electrical appliances without any problems. Of course there is WLAN via Ozmosis. As usual, this is good but also expensive.
The pool is ok in terms of size, but I would have liked active heating. The kids didn't care - maybe I'm just a sissy ;-)
The restaurant (especially the pizza days) is really great.
The bread roll service is also a nice touch.
We were glad that there were no dogs. However, there are a few curious cats that are not completely house-trained and sometimes look around the caravan curiously when the door was open.
All in all, there were good reasons why we extended our stay 4 times and we certainly weren't there for the last time. It was a very nice stay and we can only recommend the site.

Udo K.July 2021PlusuriManageable size, clean facilities, refreshing pool, friendly peopleMinusuriThere wasn't really anything to highlight here.Relaxed weekendWe were on the site at short notice and for the first time, for a weekend (Fri-Sun), were warmly welcomed and shown to the site. The reservation in advance, the welcome and the further contact on the pitch was very friendly. Nearest store some distance away, so you should take a little stock with you.... Otherwise there is a restaurant on the site and there is a bread roll service. The pool is very refreshing and there is also plenty of space to lie on the sunbathing lawn if you are not staying at the pitch. The location is beautiful, idyllic and quiet and the surrounding area is ideal for cycling and hiking. There is a beach area and table tennis tables as well as a playground for the little ones.

You can sleep peacefully and cool off in the pool when it's hot. But how else you get several stars in the rating is a mystery to us. The sanitary facilities are... getting on in years and not always so clean. The children's pool is in the blazing sun, as is an otherwise quite nice children's playground. There are no childcare facilities worth mentioning. We think the place is unsuitable for young people as there is hardly anything on offer. Wifi at one spot or completely overpriced (39 euros per week, 8 euros per day). Not suitable for us in this day and age. Just as little as the annoying shower tokens. The site is mainly in the hands of permanent campers. We are overrun by ants at our pitch. The price is collected in advance. This may be understandable based on bad experiences, but it really restricts the free camper feeling. So be careful how long you say you want to stay. It's better to specify a shorter period first. We also visited the restaurant. The tenant is said to be new there and the menu has an Italian touch. However, no pizza. Good food, but a little too expensive for our liking. I'm from Switzerland and I really enjoyed the weekend, very practical pitch for motorhomes, each pitch has its own pump for electricity, fresh water and waste water - excellent, friendly service, lots of open people, lovely sauna, very friendly service in the restaurant and... excellent food. I arrived unannounced outside the reception times, I have never been granted such a warm welcome anywhere else - uncomplicated, friendly - I felt at home from the very first second... therefore my rating is 5 stars plusTradus automat.

Super nice operators, just like the staff. The only thing that could be missing would be a small store on the site. Nice swimming pool, small fine sauna, nice pitches.
