Tents could also be pitched there. But no, the tents have to be pitched on a dark meadow on the other side of the road. The lake can no longer be seen from there and the distance to the toilets/showers... is correspondingly long.
In the high season this might be acceptable (if not understandable), but during our visit the site was at best 1/3 full.
The sanitary facilities were also somehow strange. Nice operators, also run a small snack stand. Large meadow, lake is shallow, i.e. small children can play and sand there easily. Has mini golf, canoes can be hired. Also used as an outdoor pool by the Swedes, but this doesn't bother them. Sanitary facilities... old, simple, but okay. Cleanliness wasn't great, but it was never disgusting. Nearby national park, approx. 30 min. to Isaberg (climbing park, great playground, mountain bike course etc.)Tradus automat.

Toilets/bathrooms are so disgusting and impractical and are located in what I call a small disgusting shed. Same goes for the kitchen, small, disgusting and old. The only plus is the beautiful view, but will never go there again. Was promised first night free due to arrival in the middle of the night, but ended up paying anyway despite the promise!Tradus automat.
Dirk L.August 2014PlusuriBeautiful lakeside locationlittle pearl among the squaresA really beautifully situated site with mostly lake view pitches including sunset. The tent pitches are separated in adjacent areas. The kiosk also serves food. The children have a playground and can swim in very extensive shallow water. Drowning is probably only possible with a free-standing headstand... 😉. You have to walk a bit before the water reaches your knees. You can refuel and shop in the village, which can be reached quickly by car. The pitches have electricity, water in the service house and waste water at the service house. The vacation homes are also in good condition. The showers are equipped with shower curtains, one shower is lockable. The sanitary facilities are adequate for the size of the campsite. We would come again. If you are traveling with a large trailer or driving past the entrance, you can drive a few meters further across the parking lot into the CP area. The drinking water there is ferruginous, so we would recommend taking thirst-quenching water with you. New toilets will be available there this year, 2019.Tradus automat.- Markus G.Iulie 2014PlusuriVery beautiful lake with a great sandy beachMarkus + Gabi / July 2014We spent 2 wonderful days here on a beautiful lake with a super sandy beach, which is ideal for children as you can walk out a long way. In the evening you can lie on a blanket and enjoy the sunset (around 9.30 pm), what more could you want? We had a pitch with a direct view of the lake. Nice and helpful... operators, who also run a small restaurant. The sanitary facilities are not the newest but they are sufficient. A trip to the nearby national park is a must. Shopping facilities approx. 6 km away, so possibly do some shopping on the way there. We would come here again in a heartbeat. The pitches are also big enough.Tradus automat.
- Gunnar S.Iulie 2013Nice little site right on the lake, pitches distributed directly along the lake. I don't think the site is suitable for campers as there are extra meadows away from the lake. Drawback: a road with little traffic borders the site and you can hear the highway depending on the wind direction. Sanitary facilities... are not nice, showers also cost 5 crowns. But still nice for caravans and motorhomes, the view makes up for it. Mini golf, canoe hire, playground and above all a sandy beach with sunbathing area. Very friendly staff. The Store Mosse National Park is just around the corner and well worth a visit.Tradus automat.
- Veit F.Iulie 2010Campsite with permanent pitches in the beach area ... for campers there are also some pitches directly on the beach (otherwise on two meadows a little away from the beach, unfortunately) ... perfect for a vacation with small children, as the water is only 70cm deep even 100m from the beach. The facilities on the site are good (mini golf, children's playground, extensive sunbathing lawn, partly sandy beach).Tradus automat.
