- Carla M.August 2016An absolute insider tip!We were only passing through the site - but it's an absolute insider tip - Bourboule is beautifully nestled in the mountains and lush countryside. The site has by far the most beautiful and well-kept planting of the pitches I have ever seen, with old trees and in some places complete shade is possible... - absolutely pleasant, especially in midsummer. The facilities go beyond the usual Flower Campings - the sanitary facilities are an eye-catcher - partly converted stables with really modern and very comfortable showers. Very nice rental properties and highlights such as a large yurt true to the original are on the site. You get used to the neighboring donkeys, they are very nice to look at and you can hear them from time to time. For children, the site offers plenty of space to run around and play, as well as the heated and covered (small but nice) indoor pool. The area around the campsite is the ideal starting point for hikes or sightseeing tours, and there is plenty of history to explore in the town. The main road runs along one side of the campsite, but this was less of a nuisance than I had feared. It is very quiet at night. Very nice operators and a nice and well-kept bistro behind the reception invite you to a cozy glass of wine with a great view.Tradus automat.
- Andreas und Petra S.September 2015Close to the city in the countrysideVery friendly reception at the reception desk, where English is also spoken. Around 204 pitches. There is a free choice of pitches. The pitches are generally on level grass and are separated by high hedges. WLAN 1€ per day or 15€ for 3 weeks. Toilets with toilet seats (but without paper) and showers... are free of charge. In September, only the front wash house was still open, but it was heated, which was very pleasant when it was 10 degrees outside. The highlight for some visitors is certainly the covered pool. The path lighting in the evening is extremely sparse. We found the donkeys, which were fenced off in the middle of the site but always managed to escape and then ran around on the pitches, a little annoying. (We have two dogs) A Simply supermarket is 500m away. The town center with its nice cafes is about 1000m away.Tradus automat.
