"Beautiful city camping - A large campsite with a large pool and bar/restaurant. Located on the island, only 10 minutes by bike to the very nice city center (with castle). The sanitary facilities were moderate, they were cleaned, the showers were okay. There is a food truck restaurant in front of the campsite, which was very nice. (Great setting - town with castle opposite).

"unfortunately very disappointing - But the glory days seem to be over. Too bad, because Damit is a sweet city with a very French flair.

"Well located and equipped; still cozy - The campsite is in a quiet location on the Loire Island, from where you can easily reach the town on foot. Apart from a freight train in the early morning, we didn't hear anything from the railroad line. Bread roll service and restaurant are ok. If you want to eat well you have to go into town. At first glance, the complex is somewhat confusing. However, this creates many cozy neighborhoods and provides a cozy atmosphere. The pitches are quite large and shaded by large trees. The sanitary facilities are modern, clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, the wash houses only have 3 toilets. In the high season, the staff don't always keep up with the cleaning.

"Beautiful place to discover Saumur and the surrounding area - We felt very comfortable on the pitch. 20 minutes walk to Saumur. Baguettes, croissants etc. on the campsite. Several times a week there is the opportunity for small wine tastings on the site. Nice playground.

"France 2019 - Cp on an island with a view of Saumur. Partly shady pitches. Bread can be ordered from a list at reception. Sanitary okay. Quiet and green. Nice pool. There is enough information material at the reception. They speak very good English and sometimes German.

Flower Camping L'Île d'Offard is a city campsite on the outskirts of Saumur. It is located on a small island in the Loire. Here you can camp with the castle of Saumur in the background. The castle rises on a …hill in the centre of the city on the other side of the river. The campsite has a large and varied range of rental accommodation and demarcated touring pitches. So every camping guest will find their place here. The campsite extends along both banks of the Loire. You will find almost 190 touring pitches and around 80 rental accommodations here. On many pitches, the ground is not always flat. This is why the campsite gives a somewhat untidy impression. Nevertheless, the large touring pitches are clearly demarcated from each other by hedges and trees. The rental accommodation on the campsite has the most beautiful pitches. You have a wide choice: from luxurious lodge tents and chalets to more modest mobile homes. The campsite attracts an international camping crowd. The rental accommodation is mainly used by families with children, while the touring pitches are used by campers of various age groups. At the front of the campsite, the swimming pool is beautifully situated in the sun. Here you can swim with a view of the castle of Saumur. In addition to a large area for swimmers, there is also a children's pool and a hot tub. A large terrace with sun loungers extends around the pools. Here you can comfortably sunbathe. And if you're swimming, you'll get thirsty. Take a seat at the bar on the terrace with your drink.
