But to be honest, there is no other reason to stay here than to visit the largest supermarket in the world. A constant coming and goingSomething differentThere is really only one reason to come here: shopping and consumption. My wife wanted to visit the famous Gekas shopping center at the end of our vacation in Sweden. This was actually a horror for me as I had already heard a lot about it. But if the wife wants to... After we had found and completed... the check-in (NOT on site but really great) we drove to the huge complex. As it was Friday, high season and almost fully booked, we were lucky to get a pitch on the unparceled meadow without electricity. Here we found a corner that suited us and promised some peace and quiet. More and more campers arrived throughout the day and filled the meadow quite nicely. Unfortunately, our neighbors arrived at 10pm with a party-disco Vespa and started to annoy us with loud music. But that was over after an hour and a conversation. The whole square was pretty busy though. Everything was mixed, tents with loud music and families who had already gone to bed at 9pm. But somehow it was quite peaceful. The toilets, generously laid out but not necessarily clean, were always very busy. The next morning it was very quiet as almost everyone had made a pilgrimage to the nearby department store, a beautiful but strenuous path leads from the square directly to the market. Around midday, the first people arrived with full shopping carts and soon drove away until the square was almost empty again. From 3 p.m. it was almost completely full again. Check in time and the latest departure time was around 3pm, which is ideal if you want to go shopping in the morning, you really have to plan a few hours. Fortunately, everything around us was quieter this evening. The campsite is really only intended for spending one or two days here because of the shopping center. There are plenty of leisure activities on site, including a high ropes course, a mini golf course and various playgrounds for small children. There are dog bags and garbage cans in many places. The cleanliness of course suffers from the fact that there is a constant coming and going. In any case, if I were to visit the shopping center again, I would gladly come back here.Tradus automat.

The condition of the sanitary facilities is good, but the cleanliness could be better. Small children play in the men's toilet, so you don't need a chip card. However, the registration is tip-top, you really can't complain. Our pitch is too short for the caravan. If you want to put up an awning, you have to contend with grass paving stones.Tradus automat.

If, like us, you have to hammer pegs into the ground, you should point out one of the few grass pitches. Otherwise all the other pitches are on gravel. The focus is on camper vans. Sanitary building 3 in top condition. It is what it is. A pool for Gekas... visitors. The tent pitch for classic tents in the rear area is remarkably great. Great central service building in the middle of the site with kitchen and seating area. And things run smoothly: professional mass check-in, appropriate pitch sizes, well documented. Electricity columns also offer TV connection. Free WLLAN. Several hundred pitches,... sometimes long distances to the sanitary building. Sanitary building very new and clean at the time of the visit. Very good infrastructure, service building offers everything you need. Good facilities for supplying and disposing of camper vans. Otherwise: A gravel pitch with a view of other Womos, with luck also by the river or with a view of meadows and forest. Quite loud at night until 1am.Tradus automat.

Interesting audience.Minusuri-Sanitary cleanliness could be better!The campsite at Sweden's largest department storeThe last time we visited this course in 2010, I gave it a poor rating. This year I wanted to try it again as I knew that a lot had changed. I was very pleasantly surprised at what has happened here. A new service building has been built and new spacious pitches have been created. Very successful all... round. If you then consider that shower + WLAN are free of charge, we noticed that the necessary evening cleaning of the sanitary facilities was not carried out. Nevertheless, the price of 240 SEK per night for 2 people is OK. Of course this is not a place for a longer vacation, but to experience the shopping at GeKas is very special. Also worth mentioning is the free bus shuttle to the shopping center. Check-in is on the right-hand side of the road coming from Falkenberg. Also worth mentioning are the many good cabins and chain bungalows.Tradus automat.
Harm M.August 2011Here we were very pleasantly surprised, in contrast to the older reviews and personal experiences of the last decades, there was a new, top modern and clean sanitary building in the rear part of the campsite. It was the best sanitary building on our 3-week vacation in Sweden! The site also has a great... adventure minigolf course to relax on after a day of shopping at Gekas. No need to write anything about the shopping facilities at Gekas! An all-round success!Tradus automat.
