Toilets and showers are dirty and there is mold. There are cobwebs in the dishwashing house.
The place is totally unsuitable for families with children.
People stay away from this site.
About 10 km further on is the Gitzenweilerhof campsite. World class !!!Tradus automat. - Dirk B.May 2022PlusuriRestMinusuriexpensive, standard pitches much too small, shower coins, swimming pool still closed, bread service only at weekendsFar too expensiveUnfortunately, the campsite left us with a negative impression as it is very expensive. We paid €46 per night for a standard (!) pitch with a caravan + car and 3 adults, and the bill already included a 10% discount. In return we got a standard pitch, but it was quite small. Our 7.50m long caravan only... just fitted lengthways or crossways into the pitch, but caravans and motorhomes over 7.50m are too big. If you then put up an awning or awning, the car only just fits on the pitch. Of course, you can also take a comfort pitch, but these are usually located in the "forest" (lots of shade, damp ground and hardly any satellite reception) and are of course even more expensive. Electricity is actually available directly at the pitch, but the electricity column was not installed at our pitch (the power connection for the column was there, only the column was missing). Fresh water is available nearby.
The next annoyance was the swimming pool, which was filled during our stay, but was still not released at temperatures above 30°C.
The sanitary facilities were of a modern standard, but "trimmed to look old". The showers were a negative feature. There were just 4 shower cubicles for the tourist campers, which could be a real problem in high season. And the fact that shower coins (€0.50 for 6 minutes) are charged on top of the already high overnight price is really cheeky. It is completely absurd that the machine for the shower coins is not in the cabin, but outside. So if you have to throw in a towel, you can go to the machine in a towel.
Bread roll service was only available at the weekend during our stay. Restaurant (Italian) on site with good food but bored staff.

The hygiene in the toilets and showers leaves a lot to be desired. In September the water is already turned off in the outdoor sink area. The water in the pool is cold our child had blue lips after 5 minutes. Fire extinguisher station is forever on the also pitch markings... are lying around on the ground. On any other campsite it would have been repaired immediately.
The campsite is not recommended. The few sanitary facilities bothered us the most. Very long distances to the showers and toilets and too few.
Otherwise the site was quiet, tidy, clean and had friendly staff. The route to Lake Constance... was longer than expected, but was very easy to cycle. Overall, the signposting for cyclists could be a bit better. As an example, you should take a look at the cycle path signage in Switzerland, where it was excellent.
The swimming pool is impressive, but you have to be a bit hardened as the water is not heated.Tradus automat.

The caravan pitches in parceled-out meadows are easily accessible, although some of the paths are not in good condition and most of them lack lighting at night.
A beautiful, large swimming pool with sunbathing... area and water slide is a highlight of the site.
The barrier closure at 10 pm must be taken into account, otherwise the car must remain outside the campsite. The shower areas can also only be used until 10 pm, which can be annoying after a late night out.
However, the very nice sanitary facilities are always kept clean.
The staff are friendly and check-in is straightforward. The campsite's own supermarket was closed in mid-July. A supply of baked goods is guaranteed every morning.

A great starting point for cycling tours. The lake is just under 10 km away, but great to reach by bike directly on the Argen. Great pizzeria on site, which also offers ice cream in between. Young people don't have an easy... time, as the campsite demands quiet from 11pm onwards (but we were very happy with this). The pool is beautifully laid out, as is the rest of the campsite. Lots of greenery, well-maintained gardens. The sanitary buildings are clean and every cabin has disinfectant. We had booked a large pitch in advance and therefore hardly noticed anything from our neighbors.
Due to the pandemic,... the swimming pool wasn't allowed to open yet. But it looks very nice.
The small store wasn't allowed to open either, but they made an effort to get a bakery trolley every day, the selection of bread rolls and sweet pastries was brilliant and at very reasonable prices.
The approach to the campsite is a bit difficult,... as you have to drive through a residential area and then along a very narrow road,... but it is doable.
For cyclists and hikers it is a good starting point for tours.
The pizzaria on site is brilliant and the food very tasty.
The friendliness on arrival and departure was very good and everything was explained to us in detail.
Lake Constance is a 10-minute drive away.

Seen in this light, it's a bit of a shame as you feel a bit exploited for the price. Nevertheless, the surroundings and the beautifully designed pool are a highlight.Tradus automat.

Ideal for cycling and hiking, even with dogs. The general condition is ok for the many camping guests. The cleanliness of the toilets is ok. The disinfectant dispensers in each toilet are a great advantage. Consumables... are always filled. The shower cubicles are very large. In my opinion, the shower time is perfectly adequate. I always had minutes left over. I then left them to a nag. Some people are stingy even on vacation. The CP is to be recommended.Tradus automat.
