- Ulrich H.June 2024PlusuriUnfortunately nothingMinusuriYou get insulted here by the permanent campers. Because there is a war between the owner and the permanent campers. Avoid the site, it ruined the whole weekend for us.InsultI have never experienced anything like it in my 50 years of camping. As a tourist camper, you are bombarded with extreme insults from the permanent campers. The groundsman just apologizes that it's not his fault.
I absolutely cannot recommend this site!Tradus automat. - Nele W.May 2018PlusuriPeace and pure natureMinusuri???The somewhat different campsiteA campsite without the frills. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you. Check in and check out without a lot of hassle. Cycle paths without end, beer garden/restaurant just around the corner, Chinese restaurant a few meters away. Nice large pitches, extremely cheap. Big shopping can be done by car 5 minutes away (or by bike 15 minutes), Rewe, Aldi, Lidl, beverage market.Tradus automat.
- manfred K.May 2017Plusurirestaurants nearby or in brüggen 2 kmMinusurisomewhat disturbing during the day, trucks from the sand pit operation, depending on the wind directionthe somewhat different placefor campers who place greater value on nature and the environment.cp is clean and uncomplicated.Tradus automat.
- klara s.October 2015PlusuriFriendly and inexpensiveMinusuriCleanliness and space maintenance must be done, and the hygiene of the sanitary facilitiesshort vacationHello the place is good but the cleanliness in the sanitary facilities are very dirty in the shower rooms black mold on the ceiling the toilets are not clean also have an unpleasant smell in the two weeks we were there has not even been cleaned unfortunately, the shower is cheap but that's it, we have... been there for over 6 years but the hygiene is unfortunately very poor 😡😡. there must be changed. The place itself is nice but could also use a basic cleaning what deals with weeds and so please please change. The tenants are friendly.Tradus automat.
- Edgar H.September 2015PlusuriSuitable campsite for cycling tours near the town of Brüggen (approx. 2 km). Clean sanitary facilities. Rather alternative site.MinusuriNo catering on site.Idela to visit the city of BrüggenVery simple and unpretentious campsite. Good sanitary facilities. Showers = 0.50 EUR for 5 minutes. Well located for cyclists. Close to the town of Brüggen. No catering on site, but there is at the campsite opposite. Paved pitch for motorhomes. We used the site as a drive-through campsite. Was OK from this point of view.Tradus automat.
- Hans Gerd B.September 2015Nice quiet campsiteGreat for cycling. Very good sanitary facilities and large cabins for showering. Showers cost 50 cents for 5 minutes. Time is stopped when water is turned off, so shower time is long enough. Holland is easily accessible by bike. We were there as a group, on the meadow pitch right at the entrance. Located... on an old military site. It seems a bit alternative, but that's why it's interesting. We really enjoyed the weekend we were there. We will definitely be backTradus automat.
- Reiner E.March 2015PlusuriPeace and cleanliness. Friendliness of the people.MinusuriThe lighting in the shower goes out too quickly.I was on the course for 10 monthsHello everyone. I am a mechanic and stood with my Womo 10 months on the place and can say so what there is not every day the peace and cleanliness SUPER. Ideal for those who like it quiet. The site is definitely recommended. If I come back to the area I will go back to the site. It's one of 14 sites in the area but for me it's the BEST.Tradus automat.
- Martina Z.September 2012The staff at the reception were very friendly.the place is quiet.catering and animation equal to zero.you can order bread rolls on the Womo-stellplatz opposite, worked well.Sanitary is not separated by gender and consists of individual spacious San.Räumchen with shower, washbasin. mirror etc. WC (separate)... was upstream.no toilet paper (ok if you know it). WC (separate) was upstream.no toilet paper (ok if you know it).ventilation could be better.cleanliness ok. No time limit on the day of departure. We could have breakfast in peace and pack everything, which was very relaxing. The place is very reasonably priced. We would gladly stay again.Tradus automat.
- Bernd D.July 2011As friends of ours are permanent campers at Heide Camp, we visited them there for a few days. Unfortunately, we found that this site is suitable for very undemanding campers at best. The only sanitary building seems to be cleaned inadequately or too rarely. The smell that permeates the building, a mixture... of fecal odor and mold, is very unpleasant. There is no toilet paper, let alone soap dispensers. There are also no washing machines or dryers, which you would certainly expect on such a permanent camper site. A snack bar is only open sporadically, when the operators feel like it. The reception is also not very strict about opening hours. The site owner gives the impression that he sees his guests as a disturbing factor. All in all, a place that needs to work on its quality a lot these days. Only the price-performance ratio seems reasonable.Tradus automat.

- Frank S.June 2011The quiet location of the site with its military charm invites you to switch off. The former barracks area is close to the border with the Netherlands, great for hiking and cycling! The sanitary facilities are old and in need of renovation, but the price-performance ratio is excellent. 13€ for two adults and 2 dogs per night, the meagre space on offer and the sanitary facilities are just right. The region offers many nice excursion destinations.Tradus automat.
- Helmut G.April 2011My buddy and I went to this great campsite for the second and not the last time over Easter, this time from 22.4.-25.4. by bike and with two small tents. The tent meadow has a table and bench for every camper and deserves top marks, as does the overall price-performance ratio and the natural location... of the site. The hot shower is included in the low price. The shower cubicles are very spacious and well maintained. I would particularly like to mention the friendliness, open-mindedness and warmth of the lady at reception. Here you really get the feeling that "you are welcome".Tradus automat.
- Ingo O.April 2011We stayed at Heidecamp for 8 nights and were completely satisfied. There is probably nowhere better value for money. The sanitary facilities were - despite being fully booked over Easter - adequate and above all very clean. We felt very well looked after and didn't really miss anything - apart from the lack of a kiosk for small items. We will definitely go there again.Tradus automat.
- Timo W.October 2010A very simple but inexpensive site that is ideal for group events, as the old barracks church can be used as a group room. Directly in front of it is the tent meadow, which is ideal for groups. The sanitary facilities were OK, but should be cleaned more often. For children there is a small amusement... animal park just around the corner (~15-30 min. walk). "Out the back" there are long paths for cyclists - nature has been able to reclaim over 1000 hectares and is designated as a nature reserve.Tradus automat.
- Matthias B.October 2010We were there in October, and found the campsite simple and acceptable, very good value for money, as the price was low, but there was also little service. The meadow we were on was a field, but the sanitary facilities were quite ok. The catering in the pub in the evening (we had an event there) was... ok. The village can be reached by car in 3 minutes. The area with the old ammunition depot including the corrugated iron church on the site makes the whole thing interesting for shorter stays or visits to the Netherlands.Tradus automat.
- Michael E.July 2010We discovered this place at the beginning of 2010. The first positive thing for us was the good location (just a few minutes by car or on foot to Brüggen with all the stores and restaurants). However, it was the team and the layout of the site that made us decide to have a permanent pitch there. Not,... as is often the case, with standardized plots with cars and house to house, but many individual pitches. Initially, we used the tent and caravan area directly behind the entrance on the right and were very happy here. In our opinion, the sanitary facilities (especially showers - free of charge) are absolutely flawless and, contrary to another review here, have never had mold or extreme uncleanliness in the last 2 years. The toilets are, well, when it's full, not always in the best condition. They could certainly be cleaned a little more regularly. Unfortunately, there is no meeting point for all campers here now that the "Outback" has closed its doors. However, there is the Heide-Gastro right next to the site and pubs and restaurants are within easy reach in Brüggen or a few minutes' drive away. We can only recommend this site.Tradus automat.
