Good location by the lake Hjälmaren
A secluded site with an estimated 150 pitches, about half of which are occupied by permanent campers. We were here at the beginning of June and received a very friendly welcome in English. There was free choice of pitches and the pitches on the shore are reserved for short-term guests. (The occupancy... rate was 5%) The surface of the front pitches consists of gravel interspersed with grass in places. Spacious pitches of approx. 10 x 12m, somewhat uneven but OK. Free wifi in the reception area. The sanitary area is getting on in years but clean. Unfortunately, the restaurant doesn't open until mid-June and the bread roll service doesn't deliver before then either. We used the site as a transit site for 1 night and had no regrets. The view of the lake is amazing.

First impressions can be deceptive. The old reception desk at the barrier says nothing. Behind it is a new building with a reception and after exploring the inexpensive pitches it becomes clear that you can stay here for a few days. A beach for playing and sunbathing. You can also go hiking and cycling... here. Various types of boats and children's vehicles are available for hire. The range of sanitary facilities is meagre for the size. However, we didn't have to wait. WLAN is free to use at reception. Electricity at every pitch, waste water on site: none, water at taps. We would come again.

secluded and relaxed
Very well located CP directly on the lake. Lots of forest and peace all around. Small grocery store on site and a nice common room. Sanitary facilities are partly old and dilapidated, partly very well maintained.
