We were allocated a very narrow pitch between 2 permanent campers. Long waiting times at the sanitary facilities. Only one sink for dishes. Very expensive. Martin T.July 2017PlusuriLocation, equipmentBeautiful CP in a fantastic location near KarlstadWe spent 4 days on this well-kept and well-organized CP. It takes about half an hour by bike to Karlstad. There is a huge shopping center nearby. The location directly on the lake is great, pitch size ok, sanitary facilities modern and mostly well maintained. There is a small store in the reception area. WLAN free of charge but quality rather poor. It has a great beach, which is particularly suitable for small children, as the water is very shallow. The pitches are very large, the staff are very friendly, which you can't say about the Swedes in this area, and it's pleasantly... quiet. Unfortunately, there is only a small dog beach for dogs and otherwise not much opportunity to let them run around. The sanitary facilities at the back were unfortunately a little overloaded at peak times, which is why the cleanliness suffered a little. But otherwise a great place. Unfortunately, we weren't so lucky with the weather, as it was also very windy and cool.Tradus automat.

The pitches are semi-shady to shady, but there are also a few sunny spots. The pitches are large enough. Very friendly staff, the reception has a very nice store with groceries and small items. The campsite has a small restaurant... on the beach with a terrace overlooking the lake. The sandy beach is very nice and clean. There is a separate dog bathing area for dogs. There is mini golf and a playground. The sanitary facilities were very clean and tidy - all relatively new. The campsite kitchens are fully equipped, there was even a TV room. The campsite is in very good condition, very nice and clean. TV reception is very difficult, but didn't bother us. I can only recommend the place.Tradus automat.

We couldn't go to the CP we had planned nearby because it was completely "flooded" due to rain. Here the ground was OK because of the forest floor. Friendly welcome at the reception / store. Good and clean sanitary facilities. WLAN free of charge. The town and a large shopping center are easily accessible by public transport.Tradus automat.
Michael R.June 2015PlusuriQuiet, close to the beach, suitable for children / familiesMinusuriNo SAT-TV possible, internet is sold but does not work. 50% of the toilets and showers are locked.Great place with serious restrictionsWithout a doubt a very nice place in a forest. We got a pitch near the beach. Internet costs 10 SEK/day. Shower to pay extra with 5SEK/4 minutes So far everything was good. What we were not told: - SAT reception impossible! - Internet not working in the forest We left after just one night because TV... is important to us and as a self-employed person I can't go on vacation without the Internet. I always have to be available and deal with inquiries etc. At the neighboring campsite 'First Camp Karlstad/Skutberget' these requirements are met perfectly. I only gave the site 2 stars in my personal overall impression, as we were not made aware of this no-go and were cheekily sold a non-functioning internet connection. On a negative note about the sanitary facilities: about 50% of the toilets and 50% of the showers were blocked. Oliver A.August 2012Simply fantastic. Super sandy pitch. Pitches are shady. The water is very shallow. Super team, very friendly and helpful. Wellness area can also be rented at a reasonable price. Nature around the whole site. Possibility by bike to Karlstad, but about 8 km. Karlstad is also a very worth seeing city. For... children under 12 years there is a large playground, mini golf and a large bouncy cushion on the beach. So we didn't see the children all day. What is also important, for a 5 star campsite, it is really very cheap. we will be back.Tradus automat.- Stephan R.August 2012Make sure you turn right before Skatbergets Camping and follow the signs to Bomstag-baden Camping. A site under trees directly on the sandy beach. Numerous bathing and leisure facilities on the site. The sanitary facilities are particularly commendable by Swedish standards. Approx. 8 km to the center by bike or car. The pitches are quite large. Good value for money.Tradus automat.
