The site offers very spacious pitches and is not completely overcrowded. It is close to the beach (approx. 25 minutes' walk away). The food was friendly and tasty. There is a playground for children, trampoline for a fee and mini golf etc.

we were there in July 2024 in the camping area. opposite our pitch there was a small flushing house. in the 4 days there was not even cleaned. once a day a car from the campsite came by, but they only looked in briefly and drove on without a handshake, no matter how dirty it was there. and that was it! we didn't want to flush there. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities were also subterranean. apparently they are cleaned far too rarely. you could see the toilet paper in the corners on the floor for several days, including the remains of other guests in and around the toilets. my family was downright disgusted. it's certainly not the park's fault that some campers don't know how to behave in other people's toilets, but the toilets should be cleaned regularly. the plan says that the toilets are cleaned 4 times a day, which is definitely not true. once we went in directly after the cleaning team and only the floor at the very front of the washbasin had been cleaned. otherwise there was the usual sight of sand, dirt and toilet paper on the floor. the showers are also very outdated and you can't adjust the temperature. Some of the water is very hot, which makes showering unpleasant. Program: we were in the park from Friday to Monday. it is a pity that there is no program at all at the weekend, when there tend to be weekend holidaymakers, and that the swimming pool is open for even shorter periods during the summer vacations. the swimming pool can be rated as OK at best. when we were there, there was a note on the door saying that it was too full and therefore no one would be allowed in. a look through the window showed us a maximum of between 20 and 30 people. when someone came out, we were cheeky enough to cheat our way in. 3/4 of the lockers were not used, which disproved the impression of being too full. inside, as we had already thought, there was hardly anything going on. such a stupid organization.
Sanitary facilities very unclean
A park that has some good offers and a good location, but the corner factor was so great for us that we will unfortunately not visit this park again.
Roompot would be well advised to invest some of the income in modernizing and cleaning the sanitary facilities.

Beautiful natural campsite, large pitches. Friendly staff. Lots on offer for children. Perfect for dogs.

Sanitary building very functional, were also cleaned in the same way. Partly very rude campsite visitors, who do not consider it necessary to use the official paths, but walk across the pitches and react very rudely to requests to refrain from doing so, sometimes they also rode through with their bicycles in the evening. (In my opinion indecent)

Dune campsite with room for improvement
On the unfortunately somewhat confusing campsite, there are both shady and sunny pitches. There are a total of 3 sanitary blocks, although only 2 of these have a facility for emptying the chemical toilet. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are cleaned 4-5 times a day according to the cleaning schedule,... but in our opinion only superficially. There was a strong smell of urine in places in the men's toilet and some guests seem to have a habit of showing off their "business" to the next person. Most of the urinals do not flush, hence the smell of urine.
The water temperature cannot be selected in the showers either. Not a problem for our taste and that of our children, but possibly problematic for hot or cold showerers.
In addition to the aforementioned sanitary blocks, there are other flushing stations on the site, each with 2 basins. These have hot and cold water, as well as various draining grids.

Great location, many offers, but...
End of August/beginning of September with tent and dog and two adults on the campsite. Great location right on the beach and not far from The Hague. The site and the facilities are great, with lots of great attractions, especially for children, and lots of leisure activities on offer. However, at €42... per night, we didn't think the overall package was 100% suitable. However, this is probably also due to the proximity to the city and the many attractions nearby. We will still come here again.

Clean and dog-friendly
Stayed here for 4 days. 2 people and a dog. Very dog-friendly, sanitary facilities are clean and cleaned every few hours. About 5-10 minutes walk to the beach, where there are several small restaurants and an extra dog beach. The supermarket has a large selection and fresh bread rolls every day. A restaurant,... mini golf, swimming pool and various leisure activities are available on site. There is a security service on the site at night. The only drawback is finding the pitch. Although everything is signposted, we and some others had a bit of trouble finding the pitch straight away. It's best to park and have a look on foot first.
