Not a lot of frills, but pure peace and relaxation.
Pitches with dog garden and securely fenced. Our pitch (14 - Eichelhäher) even had a small "dog forest" and was huge overall.
Super securely fenced (1.60 cm) for my pets.
The sanitary facilities are small (one toilet and one... shower per gender), but always super clean and thanks to the shower plan you don't have to queue.
Hot water and washing machine for free. Even washing-up liquid is provided.
The herb garden invites you to help yourself and in the morning the bread lady rings at 9am. Provided you have ordered bread rolls.
There are hiking/walking routes directly from the campsite and the forest is truly enchanting.
Yes, the campsite is relatively expensive. Despite this, we mostly had a lot of peace and quiet (despite Father's Day and a youth soccer tournament on Sunday).
Arrival and departure were unproblematic and self-sufficient.
It is advisable to use a powerful towing vehicle when arriving with a caravan, as the access road to the camp is very steep.

Despite the "only" 2 normal toilets, there was always one free, the camp is not very big, so it fits. Check-in went smoothly. Washing machine could be used free of charge. Showering with a shower plan also worked.MinusuriWith temperatures of over 30 degrees and no shade anywhere, it was a challenge. Our pitch wasn't ideal for us because of the way we had to stand. We only had about 1.20 m to sit on the camper under the awning, which we couldn't fully extend. However, the lack of shade meant that we couldn't sit anywhere else, as there would have been enough space in the run-out.Great conceptBasically a great idea, hats off to Nicole for managing it all on her own.Tradus automat.

Reservation a bit tricky: after online contact it takes a few days before you know if you will be admitted to the camp, which has very tight and somewhat... brain-dead rules. Beautiful location but difficult access for campers and caravans: narrow pitches and totally sunny, any maneuvering is difficult. No check-in: everything via W.A. (receiving codes to unlock carabiners, otherwise you don't get in). Only one shower and one male-child/female-child bathroom compared to about seventy pitches: for showering you have to book days in advance, alternatively there are plastic bags with water (cold of course) to take it under a tree, boyscout style. Grey water drainage is very complicated: there is no grate but a pipe ending in a funnel that you have to hold with your hands under the drain, with the vehicle on an incline. There is no staff and the owner can be reached only by W.A. messages (she values privacy and is not very willing to be questioned). If you haven't welded before, checkout only opens at 10 a.m., so you stay at the camp until then. Great care for dogs who even have a play space, much less for children who have to behave like adults (shut up and be quiet). 40 euros a day for RV and two people with electricity with this level of services is legalized theft.For campers, it is much more advisable to look for an RV area (there are some in the area).Tradus automat.Răspuns de la Lynx Camp September 15, 2022Dear Giovanni, we had a long conversation on site and I noticed that, unlike many other guests, you didn't feel at all at home with us. That is of course a great pity. I only offer our places with advance reservations. There is no reception on site, nor is there a cash desk (your information about 10... a.m. is not correct), the booking is made online before your stay. We have a self-check-in, you receive the data via WhatsApp before arrival, right. When booking, you are explicitly asked whether you have familiarized yourself with the Lynx Camp concept and whether you accept and respect it. You answered "yes" to this and signed for it. I therefore do not understand why you are now explicitly complaining about our special concept. This is openly visible on our website, through which you booked. We are not a "normal campsite", but a place to get back to nature, to shed luxury, to unwind, to find peace and quiet. In our site regulations, which can be found at www.lynx.camp/download and in our FAQs at www.lynx.camp/faq, you can read many details so that you know what kind of individual place awaits you here. I can see from your review that you didn't look into it in advance and were obviously surprised by a camp that you've never experienced before on your travels. It just didn't fit, your expectations and our orientation, and that is of course a great pity. We certainly don't deserve a 1* rating, as you can see from the many other positive reviews you can read here and on Google Maps and Facebook. This is not a "typical" campsite as you know it from everywhere, we think that this camp with its concept of respect and trust is something very special.
There is no normal check-in procedure but you book (at... least 7 days in advance) and receive a detailed description via messenger of your choice on the day of arrival.
This contains everything you need to know and observe for your stay, leaving absolutely no questions unanswered.
The whole camp is lovingly designed with great attention to detail, right down to the sanitary building.
Yes, there is only one shower each for men and women BUT this is not a problem as there is a great timetable for the showers and so you don't disturb each other.
Of course, you can choose the times yourself.
You can wash up at a total of three indoor and three outdoor places, even there is paper and washing-up liquid for everyone, just great!
Laundry is easy thanks to the machine (included in the price) and the detergent and fabric softener provided.
Furthermore, there is a lovingly prepared dog run with a dog shower.
Nicole provides on her homepage and in the camp super beautiful hiking routes from a few kilometers to day trips with detailed directions.
Children are very welcome here, there is a small playground for them, there are hammocks everywhere in the camp, a tippi and a secret robber's den, and there are also lots of rabbits to admire.
This place invites you to rest and relax as soon as you arrive. Everything is harmonious and somehow seems in balance.
You should not miss this special place and convince yourself of this unique concept. Everything is done and managed by Nicole herself, for which she has our greatest respect.
We will be back!

The campsite has sustainability on its agenda - but this is currently (!!) leading to an unacceptable price-performance deficit.
Only two... showers and toilets (one for men and one for women) and washing up with lukewarm water are manageable - but definitely not at a price of 42 per night (2 people / 2 dogs). As a motorhome traveler, you drive to a "campsite" to have exactly this comfort and not to shower/use the toilet/wash up in the car.
According to the operator, however, a lot will be done on the site in the future (e.g. more toilets), which gives hope for the future - at the moment I wouldn't come back (at least at this price).Tradus automat.Răspuns de la Lynx Camp August 17, 2022Dear Arsan, thank you very much for your comments. In the meantime, we have extended our sanitary facilities with our bio-sanitary. We now have 6 toilets, 2 urinals and 4 showers. There are also 6 sinks, as there were at the time of your stay, 3 inside / 3 outside. Your statement "only lukewarm water"... is certainly due to the fact that the taps at the sinks have a flow heater function. You can read the temperature from the LED display and regulate it yourself. The faster you let the water run through, the colder it is - there is a corresponding written notice on the taps in German and English. With a little patience, i.e. letting the water run a little slower, you can get water that is up to 60 degrees hot. It is also important for me to mention that Lynx Camp is not a "normal campsite", but a place to get back to nature, to get away from the hustle and bustle of our times, to take a deep breath and unwind. It's not about comfort, although you will certainly find a lot of things here that you don't see on other campsites. Apart from that, we are constantly expanding and investing our income in further expansion. If we were to lower our prices, we would be below the usual level here in the Black Forest, would be flooded accordingly and would have neither reserves nor time for further expansion. Having worked as an accountant for many years, I have calculated reasonably and fairly - I rarely hear a complaint about our price structure. You don't pay extra for every little thing here, no shower tokens, no laundry tokens, free washing-up liquid, even biodegradable shampoo and shower gel in the new outdoor showers, herb garden to use, hammocks in the forest, free scented sauna, library, games to borrow, etc.. Because there's always something going on on the sports field and in the clubhouse. Music until the early hours of the morning and roaring drunken youths are the norm here. We were there over Christmas and New Year because they advertised a festival without fireworks and noise. This was true for the campsite, but not for the adjacent sports center. There was shooting and banging all night long. My dogs, for whom we had been looking for a quiet place, went completely crazy and were shaking with fear. Nobody can tell me that the owner of the campsite didn't know about this problem when she advertised her quiet New Year's Eve.A real horrorOnly one shower and one toilet per gender are simply not enough for the number of guests. Small site with short distances. Clean sanitary facilities with timed showers that work well. Although there is only one toilet, I only had to wait once. The bread delivery service has a good selection and even caters for special requests. Various hiking trails... start directly from the camp. You are informed via WhatsApp about activities such as campfires. There are hammocks hanging in the trees and it's just lovely here. Every dog is welcome here and you don't have to worry about the number of dogs. We can highly recommend the Rössle for eating and drinking Riesling. Good, cheap pizza is available directly in the village. But....It is very difficult to rate this campsite. On the one hand, a lot of effort is made, especially with regard to the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities and the friendliness, but on the other hand it is not a 5-star campsite in the sense of 5 stars. For the 19 pitches at the moment, I think one men's... and one women's toilet, as well as one men's and one women's shower are actually too few for 5 stars. Furthermore, the location of the pitch: - The upper 9 pitches are all overlooking the sports field. Easy to reach, but certainly not everyone's cup of tea when there are sporting events. - The 5 pitches in the middle are also surrounded by incoming and outgoing traffic to the campsite. The other 4 pitches at least have their backs to the forest. - The pitches on the former 3 tennis courts do not face the sports field and are virtually surrounded by greenery, unless there are other caravans or mobile homes. A green strip blocks the view of the sports field. These 3 former tennis courts have been or are being converted into pitches. They are laid out in steps and one tennis court now has around 9 pitches, 2 of which will be removed when the lower tennis court has also been converted. The third pitch is shared by the operators and a sufficiently large, approx. 1.60 m high fenced dog run with a few things to play with and keep them occupied. We pitched downstairs on a former tennis court and felt comfortable there. Our caravan is 2.50 m wide and, at 7.80 m long, quite big for these pitches. But it worked with a mover. The ground (mainly wood chips and gravel) is not necessarily suitable for wild maneuvering in all weather conditions. The motorhomes have left a few tracks. Even if these are always quickly removed, the ground is not 100% maneuverable. There is also not too much space for large motorhomes, for example. A building with an entrance serves as a reception, 2 shower and washrooms plus the 2 toilets and the 3 washing areas. Free washing and hanging up laundry in the building is possible! Disposal station for waste water cassettes behind the house. Again to the sanitary facilities: They are clean and also the showering with the entry in the occupancy plan works very well. But do you always want to decide in advance when you want to shower and when it suits you on vacation? We were there over Christmas and New Year's Eve, and even then, if the place was fully booked, there would still have been plenty of time to "cheat in between" at short notice because nobody was registered. We used the toilet in the caravan, so we didn't care about the toilets. But you have to make do! A small tub and a plastic box can be used for bathing babies/toddlers. At least now in winter there was only a water tap in the building with a shower hose. Many hiking trails, but you have to like uphill to downhill. Expansion of the sanitary facilities planned! Expansion of the site to max. 30 pitches planned. Great team and very committed young operator.MinusuriThe pitches for the very large luxury liners are not as idyllically situated as those for vehicles under 7.5 metersManageable, natural place. Very dedicated and friendly teamWe really enjoyed Lynx Camp & Camping Resort and will definitely be back. The site has a very beautiful location in the countryside and is especially fantastic for families with children. Apart from the tennis court, which is certainly audible in the upper part of the site, you can hear the rustling... of the pines and perhaps the roaring of a deer. Almost all the pitches are spacious, but depending on which caravan or camper van you arrive with, the access roads are quite narrow. Teams with caravans over 7 meters long need a mover or 4 people in the lower area (you can rely on the help of the campsite crew here). All pitches are beautifully level - as if laid out with a spirit level. The ground consists of granite granulate or young wood chips - a fantastic, clean surface that campers always dream of. Tents are pitched in a separate area in the forest on forest floor. Electricity and water directly at the pitch or in the immediate vicinity of the pitch. Clean and technically flawless disposal for chemical toilet behind the reception and gray water or Womo disposal near the exit. The really big liners get pitches in the area in front of the reception. These are not as idyllic as the lower ones in the clearing. The sanitary facilities are small but nice: homely, modern and always kept spotlessly clean during our stay. Hot showers are included! Use of the washing machine is included! Dishwashing facilities and a small kitchen are modern and within sight of the reception, also always clean. According to the operator, the further expansion of the sanitary facilities is in the early approval process. During our stay (fall holiday season) there were no bottlenecks with the existing sanitary facilities! Shopping facilities: Bread roll service on site. A small supermarket (Edeka products) approx. 500 m from the site. Extensive shopping facilities and plenty of restaurants with typical Black Forest dishes in the neighboring villages approx. 2 km or 6 km away. Culture, hiking destinations: The campsite operator has prepared really great and meticulously detailed route descriptions for some of the hiking tours and highlights in the area, which anyone can view via the campsite app. We haven't seen this anywhere else in this form before: Respect, worth emulating! And for those who think they can't do without the TV on vacation: Internet works for free on this pitch! (However, we didn't try TV, we rarely need it and certainly not on vacation) The most important reasons for us to come back: 1. the friendly operator and the team on site, who are really there for the guests around the clock and are exceptionally committed and 2. the manageable size as well as the location and naturalness of the site. PS. The size of the pitches in the indoor area has been increased (6 instead of 9 pitches in the same area) and the maneuvering options have been significantly improved. Now it should also work well without a mover ;-)Tradus automat.
