The place has got all the basic anemities that you need, electricity. clean water, sanitary facilities, kitchen and the place is well kept. A lake where you can swim is nearby. The owners are friendly and attentive.

I knew this in advance and it really did noth bother us: There is not much t do in the village or the campsite. This is not really a problem, because the main purpose of most people who stay here is to rest for a day or two.

We spent 1 night at the campsite with a caravan and we were satisfied. The place was exactly what we needed: A quiet campsite where we can rest during our trip.

The couple who run it are incredibly caring and have lovingly designed this gem and provided it with really interesting details. This is camping the way we like it. There is a bathing area on the lake just a few meters away.

Camping the way you like it
A warm welcome from the operator couple with a personal tour and explanation of the site conditions. You are immersed in a little world of your own, and you drive down and enjoy it. Doors, hooks, shower, tiles, garbage corner etc., all built with a lot of heart and soul. Then there are all the gadgets... and souvenirs lovingly brought in. As there are only a few pitches, it is very informal. There is a small lake for swimming just a few hundred meters away. Camping like you rarely find anymore.

In high season it fills up quickly, so it's better to ask in advance.
Small but mighty
The pitch (grass, unpaved) is rather tiny, with more than 10 caravans/womos it could be tight. The sanitary facilities are a little improvised, but everything is clean and works. We can also confirm what has been written in the previous comments about the operator couple! Super friendly and helpful.... There is a swimming area nearby (dammed river). Shopping facilities (Generalenuniversalenmagazin) in the not so spectacular village, approx. 5 min. on foot.

Perfect camp
Very nice place with very kind people. Possibility to camp in eco farm outside of the village. Many toilets. Very useful common room.

Small but nice
This small campsite is located in the middle of the village. Run by a very friendly couple, he is Dutch, she is Lithuanian, if we have understood everything correctly. Many languages are spoken... We arrived in the pouring rain and were served tea straight away. Very attentive. There were two toilets... with shower facilities and a very cozy lounge, all in an outbuilding, perhaps once a stable, in any case very nice and quaint. The handmade jam and tea can be purchased for a small price. A lot of emphasis is placed on organic and waste separation. We were only here for one night and really regretted it, we would have liked to stay longer.

Small village, small square,
but with the friendliest operators in Lithuania, who speak all the languages in the world. If there are more than 4 or 5 tents, motorhomes or caravans, the 1 toilet and shower (always very clean) may not always be enough. In this case, the operators who live on the site will direct the guests to the... guest toilet in their house. The small lake is about 150 m away across a meadow. You can also let the children walk this alone. In this village there is a small store (approx. 300 m away) which offers a wide range of products in a very small space. The honey and tea offered by the owners are very, very tasty and highly recommended. We wanted to stay here for one night, but thanks to the warmth of the owners, we ended up staying two. Again Baltic States, again this place !!! P.S. Our navigation system directed us to an apple farm on the other side of the "Via Baltika" at the address given, after entering the GPS coordinates it worked. Update 07/2016 - 3 WC's and 2 showers available

Very cozy mini-agro-camping - part of the garden of private owners. The camping is located in a nice village near the highway Tallinn-Riga-Kaunas-Warsaw- and so on. There are all necessary amenities - electricity, water, toilet, shower, garden with fruit trees, vegetable garden. Near the lake with opportunities for swimming and fishing. Pets are allowed. Barbecue is allowed. The owners are a very nice and hospitable couple!

This was our best camping experience! It is a couple's property with their house and a yard for campers. The couple was extremely nice and let us use their kitchen and gave us some home made food. The bathroom is big and tidy. The yard is very, very beautiful so we could have our tent in a cozy corner.... There's a lake in the vicinity. The price is low, and we were so happy about our stay we didn't ask for change. It is really, really worth staying there even if it's not entirely on your way!
