Fee top.MinusuriThe ground could cause problems when it rains. We found the place by chanceGreat place, friendly nice hosts, with bread roll service, simply delicious bread rolls. Ideal place to pass through or for mountain biking. In short: we'll be back againTradus automat.
- Uli W.September 2019PlusuriGood location. Very nicely laid out.MinusuriExpensive. Inhospitable.Nice place! Unfriendly operator! Exorbitant prices!Never met such a narrow-minded, stubborn and inhospitable operator. However, the campsite itself is very beautiful and has been laid out with a lot of love. An exorbitant pitch price of € 22.00 / night, plus wifi: € 1.00 (only works up to 1 GB download...), electricity: € 2.50, dog: € 3.00, tax: € 2.00, ...... Conclusion: never come back!Tradus automat.
- Mike W.August 2016PlusuriThe location is awesome The gastronomy ... I can't find the words ... sryIn the middle of the mountains ....... is this great place. We were here on our wedding scooter tour ... Unfortunately it rained, but that wasn't really a problem thanks to the great restaurants within walking distance of the tent. Very helpful operators. We had a pitch right by the small lake.Tradus automat.
- Tanja A.July 2015PlusuriVery friendly, always hard-working site operator who really wants to please everyone and has a friendly word for everyone.MinusuriThe sanitary building cannot cope with the rush, unfortunately dirt is the order of the day. Neither showers nor flushing facilities are adequate.beautifully situated place with monopoly in the PitztalWe were allowed to spend our summer vacation here - first of all, the CP operator cannot be surpassed in friendliness and diligence, he manages a lot (it feels like everything) on his own - and yes, we had a great vacation. Unfortunately, there were also things that we were disappointed about and that... we would have liked differently. The site itself has 38 parceled-out pitches of different sizes and suitability for RVs, motorhomes and large tents, all with gas, waste water and electricity columns within easy reach. There is also a meadow for tents and "emergency pitches" around the pond. The rush is huge in the main season (if you want to camp in the Pitztal you have to come here), in the few weeks of the season the occupancy rate is well over 100%. It is made possible for everyone to find a place. Unfortunately, the sanitary building can hardly cope with the rush - the cleanliness is not good - it is cleaned too little overall (once a day), the number of showers (5 - one room for men and women) and 2 rinsing places is not sufficient, they are constantly busy and not in a very clean condition. The paths on the site are graveled, the pitches themselves are not drained, after heavy rain the water stands, some campers have walked over wooden planks through the awning... The garbage house is also literally bursting at the seams. The campsite's own restaurant (the campsite operator cooks personally) offers very good, fresh food. Unfortunately, the waiting times are very long: of course - fresh food is not prepared in 5 minutes, but: we ate twice (both times it was delicious), and we waited over an hour for our food both times, and the service was also a long time coming. The high "density of occupants" creates a good background noise and an edgy atmosphere in this quiet place away from the hustle and bustle. The peace and quiet in the evening is wonderful. You are dependent on a car, otherwise you can use public transport. A daily bread roll service is offered, once a week there is a joint barbecue evening. Shopping facilities are available in Wenns (M-Preis or also in Jerzens), for both options it is advisable to be mobile. The fish pond is used by children and some adults for splashing and swimming, there are places where campfires can be made. It is actually forbidden to barbecue with charcoal - almost everyone does it... It is not controlled. No dog waste bags on site, no additional waste garbage cans. There are no fixed office hours, anyone arriving in the evening/late afternoon is greeted (and instructed) by the manager from the kitchen. Leisure opportunities: there are hiking trails from the campsite, these are not very productive, you need a car to get to the cable cars, the Glacier Park Card covers the Hochzeigerbahn, the cable cars from Mandarfen, Imst and the Kaunertal. From there you can go on wonderful tours. Many things are great, many things are due to the high season and many of the things described are acceptable or you can easily make do with them. On a positive note: regular cleaning of the sanitary building several times a day would completely change the whole situation and have a significant impact on the assessment of the quality of the campsite. We say "thank you" for everything and wish you continued success.Tradus automat.
- Olaf R.June 2015PlusuriRestaurant on site, bread roll service, dog friendlyMinusuriShowers ok but please check the toilets more often!Nice little CPWe spent our summer vacation there this year. The campsite was the perfect location for us to explore the surrounding area. Hikes and climbing crags could be reached directly from the campsite or within 20 minutes by car.Tradus automat.
- Gunnar N.May 2014PlusuriFriendly, helpful campsite operator. Clean sanitary facilities. Quiet at night!MinusuriAt night, fox and hare say goodnight to each other here! The night's rest is disturbed by the sound of the stream flowing past ;-)Perfect overnight stopover on the way southWe were 1 week before Whitsun with the motorcycles on the campsite, which is located in the Pitztal (dead end, no passage to Italy possible) about 10 km after Imst. Due to the mid-season (winter season over, summer season not yet started) the restaurant (mainly fish from their own fish farm) was closed.... The permanent campers told us that we would miss out on a lot in this respect. In August, it can get crowded on the rather small campsite, but the campsite operator does his best to find a place for everyone. Due to the valley location, it takes a while for the sun to reach the site in the morning and it soon disappears behind the mountains in the evening. The nearest supermarket is approx. 2 km away in Wenns, there is no footpath to it!Tradus automat.
