Poor hygienic conditions of the sanitary facilities. 90% permanent campers, many probably residential, everything close together. Broken and muddy roads and paths, tent meadow very sloping and uneven. No store as advertised on the homepage. There are vending machines that do not work. No garbage cans, only at the sanitary facilities. No real entertainment for children. Narrow roads, sometimes very hilly, Outdoor sauna right next to the garbage dump, smelly in summer. Indoor playground is very worn, hardly any light or coolingNot suitable for vacation guestsFor us, 3 people, it was an experience we will not forget. Friendly treatment at the beginning and then sometimes discriminatory. Almost all permanent campers wonder where the 4 stars come from. In winter there are no drinking water points and the ones that are available are very questionable. In winter... you have to walk long distances to get drinking water as you can only get it from the shower rooms in a wash house. Lanterns seem to have a life of their own. The main access road is sometimes illuminated and sometimes pitch dark or it flickers. If you speak to the operator about the problems, he acts as if we are the only ones raising these issues. On the whole, there is more fear than a balanced relationship between the permanent campers and residential campers. We have also been told that we are free to leave, we don't need to. People with walking disabilities are not allowed to go to the garbage dump (with a wheelchair), they should walk. That is discriminatory.
The place is already quite run down.
The restaurant is newly opened and they are making an effort. A good taste experience. Unfortunately, we also have our doubts and leave the place again.

Unfortunately, it is getting on in years and the previous owner hasn't done anything. This is also noticeable.
The new owner has been renovating the campsite since 2015 and the sanitary buildings have been fitted with new tiles and showers.

I quickly became aware of this site. Unfortunately, we saw on arrival that the outdoor pool had no water. When asked, this was due to the corona situation this year. However, the disappointment quickly disappeared after we relaxed in the indoor pool at the campsite.Tradus automat.

The sanitary facilities are partly new and partly older, but always clean. There is a playground and a lovely stream for children. The indoor pool is exceptionally large for such a campsite. The outdoor area still looks a bit of a mess at the... moment, but will hopefully be renovated accordingly. The only unpleasant experience we had was with Jürgen, an employee of Fit & Fun, who acted like an axe in the forest. Maybe he was just having a bad day? All the other staff were very friendly and helpful. The outdoor pool and sauna were closed due to Corona and are otherwise certainly an additional enrichment. Bread roll service is good and the self-service store offers the essentials. However, the WLAN prices are overpriced.Tradus automat.

Nevertheless, although it was getting on in years, it was all clean during our stay.
In the pub I recommend not only to try the delicious... pizza.
Unfortunately, some of the seats are poorly numbered
difficult to find. But that doesn't detract from the fun here.

Great location, clean sanitary facilities, own stream running through the grounds, playground for the kids, own indoor pool and very friendly staff.
It was a really nice time out, we'd love to go again.

Very open-minded towards families with children and/or animals.
Normally there is children's entertainment every day during the season, sometimes several times a day.
Due to Corona, this is unfortunately not... possible at the moment, but the children were still able to do a few laps of the entire campsite twice a day on the campino track (masks compulsory).
Unfortunately, the outdoor pool also has to remain closed, but you can take the kids to the campsite's own indoor pool to refresh themselves. Despite Corona, sauna goers and fitness fans are also catered for in Paltz's own facilities.
Spacious playground with adjoining stream invites the kids to play and romp.
The new owners of the resort make every effort to accept and implement the wishes and suggestions of the guests.

Many overgrown free permanent camping pitches. Vacationer pitches are in the far corner. Access via narrow paths.There is still a lot to doWe were only there for one weekend with our grandchildren (aged 10 and 8). I had done some research on the internet beforehand. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed on site. The place is very run down. As the operators write on their website, they only took over the site in 2015 and are now constantly... rebuilding it. The first signs were visible. I think 3 out of 4 sanitary buildings are as good as new. The sanitary blocks (apart from no 3) were clean and well maintained. The pitches are confusingly divided up. Apparently there are still old numbers and divisions. I noticed old power cables, some of which were lying around above ground without a connection. Electricity boxes are relatively far away. The access road to the vacation pitches is quite narrow and leads past many permanent campsites. For my taste, the permanent pitches had no structure. Apparently everyone can do what they want. There were also some overgrown free permanent pitches, which was not a nice sight. Otherwise, a lot of it is left in its natural state, which I think is a good thing.
Nevertheless, we liked it. The indoor pool is really nice and good. However, the outdoor pool had no water and I don't think it will ever be filled again.
The operators are super nice and very keen to do everything right.
It was an adventure for all of us.

It would be great if the Bialecki family would rework the disadvantages mentioned above and there should be warm water for washing hands in the toilets in the vacation area.
The new sanitary facilities in the front area are really great, but a bit far for the vacation... guests, so it would be nice if they would build a few showers in addition to the toilets.

But they were cleanShort trip to the OdenwaldAlthough located in the middle of no man's land (ok, rather in the beautiful Odenwald), this place offers something for everyone. As the older generation, we liked the peace and quiet and the great hiking and cycling trails. But also a look at the many small children who can roam around here as they... please made us smile. The owners are super friendly and always ask if everything is OK. When there is no coronavirus pandemic, guests at the campsite have access to a lovely indoor pool and sauna area. The modern fitness studio was already back in use with a few pads. The pizzeria at the entrance to the campsite offers super tasty pizza and various other dishes. All in all, a super nice long weekend. We would love to come backTradus automat.

As we were traveling with our granddaughter (6 years old), this campsite had exactly the leisure activities we needed. Indoor playground and a relatively new children's playground. Top !!! The sanitary building near our pitch was also... relatively new and clean. The older sanitary building is in need of renovation. The cleaning was probably not so frequent due to few vacationers. The pitches are large enough. The access to the site is a bit narrow. The campsite store has everything you need. We find the garbage fees a bit expensive. (1.50€ per day) We didn't use the swimming pool or the fitness center. Nevertheless, we will visit this campsite again.Tradus automat.

The pitch we were allocated was very uneven and we were constantly stepping into a hole. If you're one of the first to go into the shower and washroom in the morning, you're met with a diverse smell. Mold crawls up the tiles in the showers. I got into... the habit of leaving various "signs" in the shower and toilet room to see how often they are cleaned. After 3 days, I removed the "signs" myself. Walk or drive a few meters to dispose of waste. Once there, you have to climb over rubble to the containers. We took the garbage with us when we left. One last thing, we've been to a few 4-star campsites. We would give this site 2-3 starsTradus automat.

It was very relaxed because the children felt very comfortable: every day the little train picked them up for the entertainment, which all 3 of them loved. The little one also had a paradise to play in. The playground and outdoor pool are also very well equipped. All five of us agree that we would come back again.Tradus automat.
