I would like to say right away that this is my own feeling.
The sanitary facilities need to be overhauled. W-lan is offered, but but. Although there is a radio tower next to it. Bread... roll service is okay, but if my place is in the far corner, well then meal. To empty the chemical toilet you have to get a key (10 Euro deposit) at the reception, which is far away from the sanitary building, and pay 5 Euro for emptying blue. Green is free, but how do they check whether it is blue or green? They were not very friendly at the reception. Once but never again!Beautiful location but far too expensive and poor infrastructureFor this large campsite there should be at least 2 sanitary buildings. Maybe a small one with a toilet and for washing dishes.
Charging a fee to empty the chemical toilet is a cheek.

It's a long way from some pitches.Beautiful place in a great locationUncomplicated arrival, clearly laid out site, nice staff, you can take a separate pitch for an extra charge. Of course the bread rolls are more expensive here than in the store. But the fact that the washrooms are not cleaned sufficiently is nonsense. I've never had to queue either.
The only thing I miss is the view of the fjord directly from the pitch. whether alone or as a couple, it is a wonderful mix of personalities with flair. Whether for permanent campers, campers, Womolies, tenters. Everything you need is available. The beach cafe is very good with the offer, exclusively equipped with beach chairs, total vacation atmosphere and Relxing directly on the sea and promenade. Beach chairs can be rented on the beach. Washrooms, toilets 1A! Well-kept overall complex in a nature reserve! We spent 5 days on a paradise site! In the high season. 4 stars, perfect! We will be back very often!Tradus automat. 
Heike L.June 2021PlusuriLocation directly on the fjord/beachMinusuriRegulations on how to set up the caravanWell-kept place in a very nice locationAccess is good. There is a small parking space in front of the reception where you can stand for the duration of the registration. Staff are very friendly. The pitch is flat with a well-kept lawn. However, it can quickly become muddy when it rains. The location directly on the beach - separated only... by the promenade (not accessible to cars) is great. Beautiful beach with playground. The dog beach is about 800m in the direction of Holnis-Spitze. The beach cafe is very nice with a small menu. However, it closes at 8pm and the kitchen at 7pm. We didn't like the bread roll service with the pre-made bags. There is also a small store for the essentials and the possibility to exchange gas bottles. The nearest shop is in Glücksburg (approx. 5km). The wash house is not the latest chic, but it was always clean and the showers were free with plenty of hot water. However, there is only one wash house at the front of the site, so there are sometimes long distances. We found the pitching rules terrible :( All with the door facing south so one side looks from the path to the path (acceptable) but the other side looks at the caravan in front of you (awful). We would come again but only choose a pitch with an even pitch number.Tradus automat.- Klaus B.May 2021PlusuriThe length of the pitch on Holnis is nice and central. The pitch has a beautiful lawn. The beach is beautiful.MinusuriIt was specified how the WW has to stand. The sanitary facilities are getting on in years. With 4 stars I have already showered nicer. The access to the sanitary building is a trip hazard.Be careful in prolonged rainWe had made a reservation for a caravan months ago. We arrived on a rainy day and it had already rained the days before. We were able to choose one of 3 pitches. Unfortunately, not one of them was passable. After I got stuck, the caravan with the tractor was placed on the pudding lawn. Of course the... weather was to blame and it was not possible to provide a reasonably dry pitch for guests who had made a reservation. The problem should be known, as the entire site is located in a hollow and therefore you have no view of the lake. So I had to buy rubber boots so that I could walk around my WW.
I almost fell on the way to the toilet. This is due to the different step heights. Really dangerous, especially in the dark.
Overall, many of the paths on the site are not particularly good.
The toilet building is ok, clean. But there is still room for improvement.
The chemical toilet and washing up areas could do with a paper dispenser so that you can pick something up if something goes wrong.
Overall, the registration seems a bit haphazard, maybe because there are no pitch numbers.
Holnis is really nice, but there are certainly other campsites nearby that have more to offer for the price. The medical center, very clean, is unfortunately outdated and you have to walk long distances to get there.
Bread roll service is strange as you have to buy a minimum of 5 rolls. What a waste of resources when there... are only two of you.
I recommend the Fährhaus restaurant, within walking distance. The WOMO pitches are far too small.Top locationWe, a married couple, stayed at this site for about a week with our motorhome. After repeated requests, we were able to switch from the pitches, which were too small, to a plus pitch. From then on our mood was good, the permanent campers who use the road as a highway access road were annoying.
The beach... is great, the food is recommendable and the atmosphere is very nice.
We enjoyed it!

We had a free choice of pitch. The caravan had to be placed on the pitch exactly as prescribed. This was completely incomprehensible to us, as we had our caravan right in front of us. We felt really cramped. There is only 1 sanitary building for... the entire site, which meant that you might have to walk relatively long distances. As there were still a few pitches free when we arrived, we were lucky enough to get a pitch nearby. The sanitary facilities were clean and sufficient. There is also a bread roll service. The site was ok for one night, but we wouldn't want to spend a longer vacation there.Tradus automat.

What was really annoying, however, was that there is only one toilet block on this large site. Depending on where you stand, it can take 5 minutes to get to the toilet, which is particularly annoying at night.Tradus automat.

You can (must) choose the pitches freely even if you have made a reservation in advance, true to the motto "see what's free". But it was no problem. In front of the beach promenade there is a great beach cafe right by the sea. Bread rolls are available in the so-called 5-bag even if you only want 3 with 2 people, for example. Very friendly and helpful staff, a very clean sanitary block. The location is great; the fact that the bistro closes at 8pm during the season is incomprehensible.Tradus automat.- Verena T.July 2019Departure after less than 15 minutesWe were there today and left without staying overnight. We had made a reservation and were allocated a pitch at check-in that was already occupied. The alternative pitch had no water connection and nobody could tell us where the nearest water point was. And we were told to look for another pitch ourselves.... We could see where there was space. Overall, the pitches are far too small, at least for a tent trailer, and not very well maintained. The weeds grow along the hedges, which are also not trimmed. It seems that the staff have no overview of which pitches are occupied and which are not. Even though there is a huge map of the pitches at reception. This could easily be marked. At least we got our deposit of €50 back without any problems. So two stars for friendliness. The location to the Baltic Sea is certainly nice, it seemed very crowded to us at first glance, but that's clearly in the middle of the summer vacation and therefore not a point of criticism.Tradus automat.
