- Jürgen H.October 2019PlusuriShopping facilitiesMinusuriLoud live music almost all night right next door!!!!Too loudWe've been coming here to spend the winter since 2016. Recently there has been live music next to the square 2 to 3 times a week until the early morning. We will go somewhere else, no one can stand that for more than one night. It's a shame really, we liked staying here even though it was always a bit noisy, but that's no longer an option.Tradus automat.
- Günther H.May 2016Plusuriclose to the harbor Thursday market right on the doorstepMinusuriSometimes extremely cheeky and unfriendly staff very hard ground, stony, bad for pitching tents and walking barefootAt least one extremely unfriendly receptionist, otherwise friendlyGood location, site not exactly beautiful but ok with some trees, very hard ground, difficult to pitch the tent. Located on the outskirts of town on roads, traffic is limited, at the back at the harbor, pub with live music until about 2 in the morning or longer, take Oropax! Toilets not new but cleanliness... was ok. Arrived at night and had no opportunity to see the surroundings, very friendly at the reception with advice that it can be loud because of the pub and music... The next morning at half past eight in search of coffee at the reception by the nice lady rudely snapped at the exit was closed and to tell her whether we stay or leave ... (the place is to leave until 12 clock), on the hint we would like to see first where we landed and whether we like it and where the exit was there were more unfriendly answers, we then decided to tell her that we appreciate her kindness and therefore certainly will not stay and would like to pay. We gave her €100 (we had planned to stay for a few days) and were then told that would not work, we should go and change. We should go change??? It then took about 20 minutes until we got our change Sorry, actually more stars but I have never been treated so cheekily unfriendly anywhere.Tradus automat.
- Raphael R.December 2015A bitter disappointmentSuper unfriendly staff, moldy permanently damp sanitary facilities, garbage bags lying around, bistro is wordlessly the very last... Thank you very much and never again...Tradus automat.
- Daniela K.September 2015PlusuriClose to the beach, fresh bread rolls, restaurants and other supermarkets in the areaMinusuriNoisy, very hard ground (difficult for campers with tents)Small campsite close to the beachThe campsite is close to the water. You can swim in a small bay or take a 10-minute ferry ride to Praia da Fuseta (€1.60 return). The umbrellas there, including two sun loungers, are available for €15. So if you want to stay longer in Fuseta, you should get an umbrella in the village. The campsite itself... has pitches of different sizes, which also differ in price. You are free to choose which size of pitch you want. However, the smaller pitches are often directly in front of pitches with caravans, so that you are camping in the awning of the caravan, so to speak. Many of the smaller and cheaper pitches were also reserved for festival visitors at the time, so the choice was somewhat limited. We ended up with a pitch that was too big for our tent on the side street. This was not so good. The pitch was shady and we were able to tie a line to two trees, but it was very noisy in the evening and at night. Many people talked loudly at the street lamp behind our tent every night. The sanitary facilities were not always clean. Wi-Fi was only available near the café. The supermarket was well stocked and offered fresh bread rolls every day.Tradus automat.
- Ernst B.May 2015PlusuriThe location to the harbor, beach, town.MinusuriSanitary facilities (although constantly kept clean) A few unfriendly arrogant receptionistsNot the real dealI've been coming there for 5 years. The toilets are a bit cramped in a 14sqm room with 3 toilets, 2 washbasins and 3 urinals. Extremely unpleasant. there are a few extremely unpleasant and cheeky contemporaries in reception. The fresh bread rolls in the mini market in the morning are soft, disgusting... lumps of dough. 4 minutes longer baking and they would be edible. all attempts to explain this to the sales clerk failed due to her indifference. 3 times a week a disco right next to the place with full volume until late at night. Sleeping impossible. The pricing requires training to understand it, especially the discounts for longer stays. if you change to a neighboring pitch of the same size, for example, you lose all discounts and have to start counting from the beginning. If, for whatever reason, you have fallen out with one particular receptionist, she will cheekily overlook the "earned" discounts when you check out.Tradus automat.
- Helmut M.August 2014PlusuriEveryone gets in touch quickly here.MinusuriThere is no such thing!!!Actually a great placeThe place is fully booked during the vacation season. Lots of Portuguese from toddlers to grandparents. Still relatively quiet. Some places are a bit cramped for German families, but it works. The staff are very good. To go swimming by ferry (normal here) Town is worth seeing and inexpensive.Tradus automat.

- Ian R.May 2013An easily found camp site close to the beach. I only gave a 2 rating for visitors with tents because, although the pitches are well defined and spacious, the ground was so hard and stony it took almost two hours to get the pegs in. The bar and restaurant had limited choices but these were very well priced.... Also during our stay they were offering a 25% discount if you stayed for 4 nights. Bargain! There are plenty of places to eat locally and some of the bars have live music till the early hours on the weekends. We had a pleasant stay and would use the site again if we were in the area.
