Unfortunately, more than 1/2 of the pitch area has been rebuilt and occupied by houses. The small area for tourists is now mixed with a lot of permanent campers. But the staff at Portofelice know how to entertain. Really great and even in German. The same people are still in the restaurant and the pizzas are great.Tradus automat.
- Chris P.September 2017PlusuriVery well-kept and clean, good restaurant, well-kept rental accommodation, good restaurants, beautiful beach, professional serviceMinusuriA little off the beaten track, "quenching zone" with vending machines, rides and a bouncy castle for a fee in the entrance area, expensive beach loungersWell-kept vacation resort for familiesVery well-kept, manageable camping resort for families with (small) children. Those without children and senior citizens are likely to feel out of place, at least on vacation. Nice rental accommodation, we had a maxicaravan. Not large, but sufficient and well equipped (kitchen) and with a nice wooden... veranda, but the beds were a little narrow. The restaurant was amazingly good, if only there weren't these TV sets with children's programs everywhere. We didn't use the entertainment and miniclub, but they are available. For the children there is a large fun zone in the entrance area, with rides, bouncy castle (€5), vending machines and candy floss. We found this a bit annoying. During the day the campsite is quiet, in the evening there's a bit of a shindig with entertainment and mini disco, but it's bearable and the little ones enjoyed it. The beach can be reached quickly through a pretty little wood. Unfortunately, we found the sun loungers for hire far too expensive and the "free" beach is therefore a bit overcrowded. Incidentally, pets are not allowed on the complex. The area around Eraclea unfortunately doesn't offer much: Caorle is quite nice, otherwise of course Venice (about 90 minutes by car and ferry).Tradus automat.
- Johnny G.August 2017PlusuriBeach and sea Restaurant and supermarket Price/performance ratioMinusuriCommerce around PiazzaBeautiful place by the seaThis year, in the second half of August, we took the Adria to the Adriatic Sea to Camping Portofelice in Eraclea Mare between Jesolo and Caorle. Portofelice is of medium size and offers pitches and rental accommodation. The sandy, not very green pitches (normal at the end of August) are somewhat smaller,... but sufficient, as the car is parked in a separate, numbered parking lot. Some of the pitches have hail protection nets and some are very shady. This can be very welcome when it's over 30 degrees, but it also prevents the evening sun from penetrating, which you would like to enjoy when it gets dark relatively early at the end of August. It is therefore best to discuss your personal preferences with the friendly and helpful staff at reception when booking in advance. It is a short walk through a beautiful pine forest to the well-kept beach with excellent bathing conditions. There is a free area next to the rental loungers, which was of course very busy depending on the season. The nice beach kiosk is also just a few meters away. A walk through the pine forest to the center of Eraclea Mare is recommended. The campsite's pool area is beautifully designed and almost a little too small for the size of the site and the number of guests in high season. Fewer rental loungers and more free sunbathing space would be desirable. Several lifeguards meticulously monitor compliance with the bathing rules. Fortunately, swimming caps are not compulsory. The dedicated entertainment team offers water gymnastics and pool games, mini-club activities for the children, a fairly extensive sports program (soccer, tennis, archery) and entertaining evening shows, which the children particularly enjoyed. The sanitary facilities are okay so far. The cleaning frequency could perhaps be a little higher in the high season. There are of course also snakes in August, but they could be much worse. An anti-mosquito agent was sprayed every other day and there were also mosquito traps hanging from the lanterns. Rubbing with Autan is compulsory in the evening. The on-site supermarket and the restaurant with take-away are very positive - both offer a good selection and good quality at moderate prices. In principle, you can get everything you need there. The piazza and restaurant are surrounded by vending machines, bouncy castles and other games for a fee, which encourage children to whine. This is a shame, as there is a beautiful but secluded children's playground at the other end of the square. Swapping locations with the commercial area would be nice, but illusory. Conclusion: For families with children, a nice place by the sea with a reasonable price/performance ratio, we liked it a lot. What we found: For our needs, however, Pentecost tends to be the better time to travel to the Adriatic.Tradus automat.
- Archi S.August 2017PlusuriClean and compact CP Everything you need was there. The bungalow was expensive but worth it for 2 adults and 3 childrenMinusuriPool totally overcrowded. No free umbrellas...the free umbrellas were all booked via the internet and therefore occupiedNice week's vacationWe were able to check in and out in German without any problems. The CP and the bungalow were very clean. The covered parking space and the private stone barbecue were great. We had two delicious meals in the restaurant. The rest of the days we bought our supplies from the export menu and the well-stocked supermarket.Tradus automat.
- Jeannine P.July 2017PlusuriLarge pool, parking lot, children's entertainment, friendlyMinusuriLong but beautiful walk to the beachBeautiful summer vacationWe were with several families (3x tent, 3x caravan) also the Eden pitch and very satisfied! Electricity and water on site, nearby sanitary facilities, children's entertainment, friendly, beautiful beach, casual pool, good parking facilities and town within walking distance...Tradus automat.
- David H.June 2017PlusuriGreat facility, shady pitches, friendly staff, everything available for a great vacationMinusuriMosquitoes, hardly any shade at the pool (umbrellas only for a fee)Love at the 2nd stitchGreat campsite for families. For us (family with 3 kids <6 years) the size of the pitch was ideal. Kids could explore the site on their own with bikes and balance bikes. We had a pitch in the southern part of the campsite. We found this ideal, as the pool, sports and playground were within easy reach,... the walk to the beach was a little shorter and you didn't hear anything from the entertainment program in the evening. Top quality infrastructure (pool, sports fields, playground, supermarket ...). Unfortunately, we had underestimated the mosquitoes. Nothing works without Autan in the evening. The campsite does a lot to combat the mosquitoes (spraying and hanging up mosquito lamps) but you still have to protect yourself. You have to like the entertainment at the pool during the day and in the evening on the stage until 11pm, the kids loved it. The animation team makes a lot of effort and is very friendly. Great sports program.Tradus automat.
- Stefan W.July 2016Plusuri-Cleanliness of the facility -Cleanliness of the sanitary facilities -Friendliness of the staff -Super infrastructure -Beach bar ...Minusuri-We have definitely not been able to discover any disadvantages !!!A wonderful place by the sea. This was our fourth time in Portofelice. The campsite appeals because of its really friendly and helpful staff, the meticulous cleanliness of the entire site and especially the sanitary facilities and the excellent infrastructure. The well-stocked supermarket with fresh meat, fish, cheese and bread counters,... as well as the adjacent "bazaar" with the most important camping articles, are also very reasonably priced. The restaurant is really good and not too expensive. A short pine forest path takes you to the sandy beach with a wonderful beach bar in just a few minutes (highly recommended in the evening!). As usual in Italy, the pitches are not the largest, but almost all of them are surrounded by tall trees and therefore shady. Most of them are equipped with a hail protection net. The cars are not parked on the pitches themselves, but in parking lots along the main roads. The village of Eraclea Mare, which is adjacent to the campsite, can also be reached on foot in a few minutes. All-day entertainment and sports are offered for young and old. The children's entertainment in particular is highly recommended. An (admittedly not too big, but sufficient) pool area completes the offer. If you want to escape the camping life for a few hours, you can visit Venice, Padua and other smaller but not less beautiful places. We have already confirmed our booking for next summer. This place is simply recommendable !!!Tradus automat.
- Christian G.July 2016PlusuriCleanliness, friendliness, quality and prices of the restaurant and ice cream parlor. Great beach, shady pitchesMinusuriUse of sun loungers at the pool and beach only for a fee.Great campsite with a "comeback feeling"We spent our summer vacation there for the first time this year and will definitely be back! The site is wonderfully laid out with lots of pleasant shady pitches. The pitches could be a little bigger, but they are normal size by Italian standards... The friendliness of the entire staff is outstanding,... as is the cleanliness of the entire site. The food in the restaurant and the ice cream on site is very tasty and absolutely ok in terms of price. The supermarket and the bazaar invite you to shop with a good selection and not overpriced prices. As the resort is not too big, everything is within walking distance and there is a family atmosphere. The pool area and the beach are very nice and invite you to relax or let off steam. The entertainment program is ok, but only completely blew us away once during our 10-day stay. The prices for the sun loungers at the pool and on the beach can be used for a fee, free use would be desirable here, at least in the pool area. In summary, we felt very comfortable in the resort and will definitely be back.Tradus automat.
- Andreas S.May 2016PlusuriKids' club with lots of entertainment, extensive and not too expensive range of products in the market, friendly staff, great beach barBeautiful campsiteHad a great short vacation on the course in May 2016. Relaxation for my wife and me. Great fun for our kids with a wide range of activities. The accommodation was in top condition. The range in the supermarket was extensive and affordable, the restaurant food was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back!!!Tradus automat.
- Juergen W.August 2015PlusuriEverything available Beautiful beach Friendly staff Clean sanitary areaMinusuriToo expensive in summer Animation too loud Hardly any free places on the beach, only parasols and sunbeds for a fee.Beautiful campsite for a family beach vacationWe stayed at the campsite for 3 weeks at the end of August. The reception was very friendly and unbureaucratic. We were accompanied to the site and given instructions. Everything is available on the campsite in terms of infrastructure, but as we were traveling with a motorhome, the shopping facilities... were limited to within cycling distance. Unfortunately, there is not much to do in the town either. We got our supplies from the campsite supermarket for 3 weeks. It was a great vacation despite these little things. We would love to come back.Tradus automat.
- Sonja G.August 2015PlusuriLarge pool area with something for everyone, short walk to the beach, great beach bar, new WC facilities on the beach. Simply great!MinusuriPartly no direct water connection on site, only one supermarket on site, one restaurant. Could be a bit more.Super nice, well-kept placeVery nice campsite, tidy and well maintained. Everything is as described. We were not here for the last time :-)Tradus automat.
- Sibylle R.June 2015Plusuri+ the sanitary facilities are modern and very clean + short walk to the beach + the staff is very helpful and friendly + SupeMinusuri- Pool was overcrowded - too few sun loungers on the beachsuper campsiteWe liked it very much. You could choose your own pitch at the end of June and still had plenty of choice. Some of the pitches are very sunny. We had a normal pitch which was in the rear area (quieter). The expensive pitches are close to the pool area and certainly louder because of the entertainment.... The path to the beach is short and through the shady pine forest. Night rest is at 23.30 and was respected. The pool area was nicely designed, unfortunately there were always a lot of people in the pools, and the pool was always closed from 13.00 to 15.00 which was a shame. The food in the restaurant was ok, but in the village, which is a 2 minute bike ride away, the food was better. Outside the campsite there is not so much to discover. There are a few restaurants and souvenir stores in the village, but that was enough for us. The supermarket was very large and varied and the prices were okay. Unfortunately, the number of sun loungers on the beach is limited. If you are not renting a sun lounger for a week, you should go to the beach as early as possible to rent one. The beach was always very clean. We would definitely come back!Tradus automat.Răspuns de la Portofelice Camping Village July 22, 2015Hello sibylle-68,
Thank you for your review. We hope to welcome you back to Portofelice in the future.
Greetings from Portofelice!Tradus automat. - Ma E.May 2015PlusuriPrice/performance (Whitsun) well located for excursions also possible for parents on vacation because the kids have a quick connectionMinusuriPrices in summer Italy typically very expensiveSatisfied all roundWe stayed at the campsite for 14 days at Whitsun and were a bit skeptical beforehand. Completely in vain, it was a very nice vacation. Our children 2/8 were busy and happy all day. When there wasn't a mini club or similar, they made contact with the other children around us and played with them. The... staff were friendly and helpful. The beach was clean and the beach bar is highly recommended. The drinks were not overpriced or too small, value for money especially at Whitsun 5*+ Day trips to Venice are highly recommended as they are only a stone's throw away. Caorle is also very nice to visit in the evening, but often very crowded. All in all, a very successful vacation and highly recommendedTradus automat.
- Michael S.September 2014PlusuriCampsite is nice and quiet, clean and child-friendlyrecommendableVery nice childcare (mini club) for our kids (3 and 6 years). Our little one also felt very comfortable and took part in the mini disco every dayTradus automat.
- Wiebke A.August 2014PlusuriClean sanitary facilities Fair prices in the supermarketMinusuri-Great campsite - nice staffWe liked the campsite very much. We had a great vacation. Very nice staff, great entertainment, especially the evening program. Sanitary facilities were cleaned every day. It was very clean. Prices in the supermarket were absolutely fair, so we didn't go out shopping.Tradus automat.
- Andy A.August 2014Plusuri- clean sanitary facilities - friendly staff - Access control to the campsite (also from the beach)Minusuri- Prices for sun loungers and play equipmentNice vacation with mixed weatherWe stayed at this campsite for two weeks this summer with three children (aged 4, 6 and 8). The staff were always friendly and helped immediately with any problems. The sanitary facilities were always clean and there were always enough facilities available (at peak times there was sometimes lukewarm... washing-up water). The entertainment was good and the evening shows were great. The supermarket had fair prices and a good range of products. The food in the restaurant also tasted good and was affordable. It was a shame that the bouncy castles, some children's play equipment (electric) and the sun loungers at the pool and beach were subject to a charge. The beach was clean and well maintained. Unfortunately there isn't much going on around the campsite, so it wasn't really worth leaving the site. Many pitches are equipped with a hail protection roof. Cars are not to be parked directly on the pitch but in parking lots near the pitches. These parking spaces also have a canopy. All in all, however, it was very nice!!!Tradus automat.
- Manfred W.August 2014RelaxVery densely overgrown campsite with lots of entertainment (kids club, maxi club, soccer camp, tennis, table tennis, water gymnastics and much more). Unfortunately there is not much to discover in the area around the campsite, but if you like nature and old architecture, this is the place for you. The... supermarket at the campsite has everything you need at reasonable prices. The restaurant serves good food and the ice cream is also very tasty. We'll definitely be back again.Tradus automat.
- Anita H.July 2014PlusuriClean sanitary facilities, shopping facilities in the complex, beautiful beach, lots of shade on the pitch,...MinusuriWe have nothing to complain about!Beautiful facilityIt was our first time in Italy with the camper van! We were even accompanied to our pitch. Reception was very friendly, the sanitary facilities were always clean, lots of shade on the pitch, pool for small children ok, beach nice, just the beach vendors get on your nerves after a while, the garbage bins... were emptied almost every day, a sweeper also did its job. Animation nice, supermarket on site (prices in the supermarket ok), pizzeria, amusement arcade, e-go-karts, etc. We liked it except for the weather.Tradus automat.
- Tanja P.August 2013We stayed at Portofelice from 11.08. - 19.08.13. Portofelice is a beautiful campsite with large, shady to semi-shady pitches. A big advantage is that the cars are parked on extra parking spaces (close to the pitches). The campsite itself is very clean and was always well cleaned. The so-called piazza... is - in our opinion - a little carelessly designed. The supermarket and bazaar are well stocked and reasonably priced. The path to the sea is really easy to walk (even with a 5 year old child) and it is very pleasant to walk through the pine forest. Within a very short time you are right by the sea. The sea was normal for the Adriatic - so ok. It is a pity that there are no water sports facilities directly on the beach. The pool area is ok and clean. We never took part in the entertainment and therefore cannot judge it. We also never ate on the campsite. Eraclea Mare is quite nice, but we liked Caorle much better. Portofelice was ok and there's nothing really wrong with the campsite, but there was something missing...that's why we would go back to Cavallino if we go to the Adriatic again.Tradus automat.
