"Beautifully laid out with attention to detail - One of the most beautiful campsites we have seen. As almost everywhere, many things cost extra. Including electricity with more than 6A. WLAN was also not available everywhere. But we didn't need it either. The lake is private and belongs to the campsite. Fishing license 15€/day. Sanitary facilities nicely designed and almost always clean depending on the weather. Chemical toilet disposal only seems to be possible at the vending machine for 2€. It would have been nice to be able to walk around the lake. And the braking bumps on the paths are a horror for the camper van, even at 2 km/h. So tie everything down well. So lash everything down well. The adjacent restaurant was poor value for money from our point of view.

"Permanent camper - Everything is fine. Only the scrap yard is annoying. Because scrap is loaded in the evening until 22.00 and sm weekdays from 8.00. No peace and quiet.

" - Place designed for permanent campers; places for tourists either on open meadow around new sanitary building or in the front area for stage campers, directly at the lake with swimming possibility, here old sanitary facilities; snack bar on the site; site operators could be friendlier; as a stage place in order, for longer stay I would not recommend it

" - Unfortunately, the site is not very well maintained. Many pitches are empty and littered. Otherwise, this could be a beautiful place in a nature reserve. The reception and the staff are only friendly to a limited extent, it seems to depend on the mood of the day. It is good that two new sanitary facilities have been built and the old sanitary blocks are to be renovated. The power supply is a bit weak, especially if you want to connect devices with more than 1500 watts, the fuses don't work and you are left without electricity. The annual rent for a pitch with your own caravan starts at 800 euros including electricity/water. However, the rule is around 1200 euros p/A

Camping Kikmolen is just a short bike ride away from the iconic cycling experiences **"Cycling through the Heathland"** and **"Cycling through the Terrils"**, as well as within walking distance of De Mechelse Heide and the Kikbeekbron. Fancy a city day? Hop on your bike and explore the vibrant city of Maastricht or visit the Designer Outlet Maasmechelen Village. Of course, Camping Kikmolen offers all the modern facilities you’d expect from a contemporary campsite. During July and August, you can enjoy the natural swimming pool, covering an impressive 2.7 hectares. Experience the thrill of the **78-meter water slide** with its sharp twists and turns or take your inflatable boat down the shorter tube slide for guaranteed water fun and adrenaline! The pool is also ideal for younger children, featuring a sandy bottom that starts at a shallow depth of just 30 cm. The slope gently deepens to a maximum of 1.80 meters on the other side, perfect for swimming. A playground is conveniently located near the shallow end of the pool. The swimming pool is open in July and August and is supervised by lifeguards during operating hours.
