Nice small campsite (appr. 60 units) - with very nice/clean sanitary installations - VERY friendly personell, and the site itself nice level grass area.
You pick the place you like, and then go to the reception for checkin when it opens in the afternoon....
Located a couple of kilometers outside Mandal - along the river.
YES - there is a road between the campsite and the river, but in the evening and at nighttime there is only very limited traffic.
Dogfriendly - with good areas for "walking the dog" just behind the campsite.

The road in front of the lake is not too busy. You can walk here on designated paths and then have a beautiful view of Mandal and the sea. Friendly owners who will even give you a pitch at midnight if the ferry is late. You need a slightly longer cable for electricity. Dogs are welcome and feel at home here. We paid €25 for one night with electricity.Tradus automat.

The location is also ideal for exploring the sights in the surrounding area (Lindesnes, ...). The entire site is very well maintained with lovingly designed accessories. The sanitary facilities are modern (including "family... bathrooms"), clean and adequately sized. The operators are very friendly and helpful. Due to the proximity to the road between the campsite and the river, traffic noise must be expected. A place especially for TRAVELERS, i.e. only a very small number of moorings - therefore a nice atmosphere on the site. Very friendly owner couple - and 100% clean facilities. A small road between the site and Mandalselva causes a little traffic noise during the day - but nothing in the evening/night.Tradus automat.

Ulrich M.August 2013A beautifully situated campsite close to the European road to Kristiansand (only 45 min. drive). The campsite is on a river. There is a road with little traffic between the river and the campsite. The sanitary facilities are OK - the staff very friendly. We were able to choose our own pitch. Sufficient electricity connections available. WLAN available free of charge. A site that we will certainly visit again.Tradus automat.
