Karin M.August 2024PlusuriPleasant, dog-friendly atmosphere on the site. The lawns are well maintained. The sanitary facilities are also relatively new and very well maintained. The restaurant offers good, sometimes unusual cuisine at a higher level. A small store completes the offer.MinusuriThe sanitary facilities are in the entrance area - if you stand further away from them, you have a longer walk.Beautiful, well-kept campsite on the beautiful WolfgangseeWe were only there from Fri to Sun - and would have liked to stay longer. The water in the lake is fantastic (but usually a bit cooler) and there was a relaxed vacation atmosphere at the campsite. It was also nice for the dogs - we were in the dog section and our two Goldens enjoyed swimming in the lake.... Of course, everyone was considerate of each other.
There was also a wooden platform at our pitch - very practical! You could tell that it had been built some time ago and was a bit rotten in places. But it was still a great help.
However, it is essential to make a reservation - the campsite is rightly well booked.

- Pfad F.September 2022PlusuriBeautiful location directly on the lake.MinusuriToo expensive and getting on in years.Nice location - not for us.In terms of traffic, the journey with our 7m caravan was completely problem-free. After a quick check-in, without many explanations, we were quickly at our pitch. The campsite is quite clearly laid out and has a sanitary block that feels like it dates back to the 1950s. It was always clean, but seemed... old, cramped and in need of renovation.
In terms of price, everything was certainly in line with the tourist town of St. Wolfgang. I found the bread rolls and croissants at the campsite too expensive.
What annoyed me most was that there was nowhere to let the dog run. The local authority had made it compulsory to keep dogs on a lead and posted a huge number of prohibition signs.
The ban on cyclists in the immediate vicinity was also incomprehensible to me on many paths.
The village of St. Wolfgang can be reached quite quickly and safely on foot from the campsite. There are plenty of popular places to eat and drink there. Mass tourism.

Each pitch has a wooden terrace which is especially great now in the fall because of the damp meadow. The location is simply fantastic, we even had breakfast in the sun at the end of October. Wonderful!!! The lady at reception was also a bit unfriendly with us... But the young boss is very nice!!! We also love the bread roll service! We will definitely be back!!!Tradus automat.

The space was very cramped, you were practically sitting on each other's laps. Everything makes an unkempt, musty and dingy impression and the sanitary facilities are anything but modern (as... advertised on the homepage). Well, four showers were equipped with large shower heads but otherwise it was unfortunately (almost always) dirty and disgusting. What annoyed me the most... was that the entrance door to the toilets was always open (everyone must have grown up in the cave) and you were greeted with 'nice' smells from afar. The site itself also made an unkempt impression and the garbage piled up (when does the garbage collection service arrive?). However, the price is high. I also found the bread rolls for €1 to be overpriced. The 'beach' is a joke, there isn't much sunbathing space. All in all, our conclusion: we won't be back, there are nicer, more modern and above all cleaner campsites on Lake Wolfgangsee.Tradus automat.

The pitches are well marked and a good size. Everything is close to the water. You can always find a spot in the shade in the campsite's own beer garden and the food there is also very tasty. You can find everything you need... for breakfast/food in the store, otherwise there are plenty of supermarkets a few minutes' drive away. There are so many excursion possibilities here that you can't fit everything in. Schafbergbahn, cable car, visit St-Wolfgang itself, just take a walk along the lake, visit St Gilgen... and so on. The staff are very friendly. We were completely satisfied.Tradus automat.
- Marion S.August 2018A short visit for dog and soulWe visited this great campsite in mid-August 2018 for just three nights, clearly not enough from today's perspective. It was only a few meters to the Wolfgangsee where you could swim wonderfully with a view of the mountains! The sanitary facilities were clean and sufficient. The small store supplied... us daily with fresh bread rolls and food for our daily needs. But in hot weather, there is also portioned watermelon to cool you down. Unfortunately, the night's rest was over at 6 a.m. as cars drove along the gravel road close to the tent. We had very nice neighbors who regularly use the campsite as permanent campers and have taken our Boxer lady to their hearts.Tradus automat.

Whether with children, grandparents or with a dog. Everyone will have fun here. The Wolfgangsee is wonderfully shallow, very clean and warm (26 degrees in July). Dogs are very welcome and can go into the water anywhere! Dogs must be kept on a lead, which... is very sensible. Dog waste bags are also displayed. There are plenty of sanitary facilities and washrooms. Unfortunately, they are not always clean, which is also due to the campers. You can still work on the cleanliness. Here you have to differentiate between the female and male receptionists. There is a lot of room for improvement with the female receptionist, which her colleague makes up for. But we will definitely be back. Just because of the lake and the beautiful area.Tradus automat.
