- Doris S.February 2015PlusuriLocation, nice and uncomplicated, dogs allowed, delicious food on site, rustic sauna, value for moneyMinusuriunfortunately no possibility to wash dishes in the houseAlmost perfect for our needs - great value for moneyThe sayings: "Whoever finds us, finds us good." and "Good cuisine doesn't need a star." are true. We wanted to combine skiing on the Fichtelberg with camping and found the Sportbaude here via Camping Info. We have a caravan and a dog. We called at short notice to see if there was space. The pitch for... the caravans and motorhomes is small, but it's enough if you're busy skiing all day. There is a bread roll service or breakfast buffet. The buffet looked great, but we almost always ate at the Sportbaude in the evening (delicious!!!) and we wanted to go camping (so we cooked ourselves and had breakfast in the caravan). There is a shower/toilet room available for all campsites. Not very big, but warm enough. There is also a rustic wooden sauna that you can hire for a fee (with wood for a fire in the front room). A sauna evening after a day's skiing is simply wonderful. The location of the (motorhome-sized) pitch is perfect. You can walk straight to the lift and directly to the blue cross-country ski trail. The center can be reached by car in a maximum of 5 minutes. The food is cooked with love and always tastes excellent. In addition to regional cuisine, there are also a few international influences. But be careful, the portions are always huge. The staff and the chef herself are absolutely friendly, helpful and very helpful and flexible, even when the restaurant is very busy. The price-performance ratio is absolutely great. However, anyone expecting a 5-star campsite here will be disappointed. But that's not what they advertise here. There is a chemical and waste water disposal system outside. A pipe whose cap can simply be removed. We would also like to have the option of washing dishes outside the caravan but inside. Absolutely the right thing for us for ski weekends. Thank you and we will be back.Tradus automat.
- Lasse D.February 2015PlusuriTop location directly on the cross-country ski trail and lift, rustic restaurant on siteMinusuriSanitary facilities, no dishwashing facilities, small pitches, primitive gray and black water disposalTop location, nothing more!Completely unsuitable for caravans, as there is no space for awnings if the pitch is full. A toilet and a shower in a 1m2 room are completely unacceptable. Virtually impossible with a small child! Chemical toilet is disposed of via a primitive hole in the floor, no possibility to rinse. No washing up facilities. Fresh water has to be fetched from the shower and gray water disposed of via the toilet. What a shame!Tradus automat.
- Armin Q.April 2012we were satisfied with the gravel pitch but there is also a meadow for tents. it was ok for one night.Tradus automat.
- Paul-Heinz B.February 2012Sanitary facilities very small but clean. No washing up facilities, necessary for winter. Very nicely located for LL. Challenging trails.Tradus automat.
- Michael B.August 2011Roughly gravelled forest clearing with moderate steel fencing, shielded from the mountain bike practice track without a view, next to a restaurant. Ten unparceled small pitches, two showers and toilets, no sink, partly broken but otherwise clean. Hiking and cycling opportunities on the Fichtelberg.Tradus automat.
