"Great little place - I arrived on Sunday afternoon and the reception was not manned. This was probably due to the low season. A quick call to the groundsman and he was there in 15 minutes. Registration was quick and easy. We were allocated our pitch. The rows in the tourist area are separated by trees. Sat reception is mostly unproblematic. The pitches are on the meadow and quite straight. The pillars with electricity and water are directly on the pitch, so no long distances. The sanitary/reception/restaurant building is newly built, very clean and modern. One small flaw: as with many buildings where there are no more light switches and everything is controlled by motion detectors: If you are standing in the shower and no one else is in the bathroom, the light sometimes goes out. Then it's a case of opening the shower cubicle door and closing it again, then the light comes back on. The shower cubicles are very spacious and showers are included. Top! I still don't understand what the thin toilet paper is for. You have to unwind a lot. Something thicker and you use less. What is completely wrong are the signs: You know the signs: "Please separate waste" or "Use toilet brush". Here it sounds like this: "Switch on your brain when separating waste...." So this is a total miscommunication. This is not a sign but a rude insult at the lowest level. If you don't care about waste separation or cleanliness, you won't be impressed. Others are more likely to feel offended. But that's probably the "Franconian cordiality". It's a pity, it tarnishes the overall impression somewhat. The staff were very friendly, so it doesn't really fit together.

"Beautiful place with natural swimming pool next door - Beautiful place with old trees. The sanitary area is completely new and was very clean. There is a restaurant right next to the campsite (but we didn't try it). There is also a beautiful natural swimming pool right next to the site. Entry is free for campers. The pitches are large enough and there are water points and electricity in the immediate vicinity. When we were there, there were relatively few families with children. Perhaps because there is no playground on the campsite, but perhaps also by chance. Bakers, butchers and several restaurants are within a radius of approx. 300m. There is a bread roll service on Sundays.

"Quiet campsite - Situated away from roads on the edge of the village, old trees, beautiful camping meadow, hiking and cycling opportunities in meadows and woods. In the village there is a bakery with daily necessities, a butcher's shop, the Loscher brewery with a drinks market (Club-Mate), a delicious Greek restaurant, a sophisticated German restaurant and a café open at weekends with delicious cakes and tarts.

Unser Campingplatz liegt an zentraler aber ruhiger Stelle. Umgeben von Bäumen und Sträuchern liegt er in den Talauen des Steinach-Flusses und grenzt an einen Kinderspielplatz undnden Angel und Freizeitsee an. Das Freibad unmittelbar neben dem Platz zeichnet sich durch frisches …Quellwasser und eine familiäre Atmosphäre aus - es steht unseren Campinggästen unentgeltlich zur Verfügung. Die Umgebung von Münchsteinach ist durch Wander- und Radwege gut erschlossen, diese sind ohne Anfahrt vom Campingplatz aus erreichbar. Die Campinggaststätte ist ganzjährig geöffnet und versorgt Sie mit fränkischen Schmankerln oder einem kühlen Bier aus der heimischen Familienbrauerei. Die Versorgung mit Lebensmitteln ist vor Ort gut gewährleistet, ein Arzt sichert die medizinische Versorgung. Einen besonderen Höhepunkt Ihres Urlaubs in Münchsteinach stellt sicher ein Besuch im ehem. Benediktinerkloster mit einer Besichtigung des romanischen Münsters dar, mit etwas Glück findet dort gerade eines der Konzerte bei Kerzenschein statt, welche weit über die Grenzen Münchsteinachs hinaus große Beachtung finden und selbst die Aufmerksamkeit der Medien auf sich ziehen. Vielleicht besuchen Sie uns aber auch in der Zeit, wenn unsere Brauerei ihre jährlichen Biertage abhält (Pfingsten) oder wir altes Brauchtum pflegen und unsere Kerwa (Kirchweih) feiern (Ende August), hier lernen Sie kennen, wie Franken feiern, Sie sind herzlich eingeladen
