"Vacation La Ribeyre August 2014 - I can only agree with the previous commentators. But nobody said anything about the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities. They were in terrible condition. (I'm talking about the wash house close to the lake, where we had a comfort pitch). In the last week of August, the floor in the individual wash cubicles was not cleaned for days and the walls in the toilets were apparently never cleaned either. Too bad, because otherwise a nice place.

" - Unfortunately, it has now become quite a noisy amusement park. Especially in the high season rather nothing for those seeking peace and quiet. Great surroundings especially for hiking but also cheese and wine :-)- nearest supermarket in the village about 1km away - so you are not dependent on the local store.

Camping Sandaya La Ribeyre is located in Auvergne, a region in the centre of France. You will be camping very close to the village of Murol. The special features of this region are the ancient volcanoes and the large lakes. …The campsite's greatest assets are the water park, the private lake with a beach and the many sports and entertainment options. There is also a snack bar and a pizzeria. It is a very large campsite (13 ha) with over two hundred pitches for travellers and almost one hundred and fifty accommodations, such as various chalets and cabins. Lots of plants on the grounds give it a fresh and green look. You will also camp here in the middle of greenery, often on grassy pitches and among trees and shrubs. The most beautiful pitches are located near the lake. The campsite has a 2,500 m² water park with slides, water cannons, indoor and outdoor pools, waterfalls and a hot tub. The thatched umbrellas on the shore give the whole a tropical atmosphere. Not enough water fun yet? The campsite has its own lake where you can swim and sail. There are activities for children of all ages. The Kids Club (5-7 years) offers fun games, face painting workshops and arts and crafts afternoons for the youngest campers, while older children can visit the Juniors Club (8-12 years) or the Teens Club (13-17 years). All kinds of exciting adventures await them there, such as a canoe race or a disco. Sports enthusiasts can let off steam on the tennis court, beach volleyball court, bowling alley or sports field.
