A proud price in this area, bread rolls/reception from 8.30 am. In the area, Infocenter Felsenmeer, 2 restaurants and the Altstadtcafe in Lindenfels as... well as the terrace of the castle were closed on Mon and Tue (!). Why all at the same time?
Unfortunately, a lot of water is lost in the sanitary building on the campsite until it finally comes warm from the tap. The surrounding terrain is very rough. For cyclists there is only a very difficult way to leave or re-enter the campsite - always via the path to reception. Hellish noise at night from the neighboring open air and tractor meeting in the village.
Any comments about the impossibility of sleeping with this noise were met with a shrug of the shoulders.
After our completely... exhausted departure, the bill with a €20 reminder fee was waiting for us at home on the same day.

However, the price does not justify the almost 40€ per night, I expect more spacious showers where I don't bump into the walls with my arms (shower like anteroom / changing room). A stream, goats, a small playground, a table tennis table, a small kiosk with, among other things, delicious ice cream from the region, bread service and pizza if you want. The sanitary facilities are simple but very clean... and well maintained. There are even e-scooters for hire.

Zowel makkelijk als moeilijke parcours. Vanwege de terrasbouw ideal voor een prachtig uitzicht en veel meer vrijheid als het druk is. Op wandelafstand is a mooi zwembad. Sanitair is wat outdated, maar... heel proper en is prima in orde. Iig geen muntjes of 5 minuten voor je warme water. Wij komen hier voor het 3e jaar en zien al uit naar ons volgende bezoek eind augustus.Tradus automat.

Absolutely recommendable!We were at the campsite at the beginning of April. We didn't want to be too far away from home with the caravan. The campsite is in a very nice location. It had been a few days before our arrival and the owner had kindly offered to pull the caravan to the site with his four-wheel drive vehicle. We had... a really nice pitch right on the edge. It was super quiet and we were able to relax very well with our two dogs.
If you're traveling with a dog, it's best to ask for the key for the side exit (towards the swimming pool). This saves you having to walk all the way across the campsite (unfortunately we didn't know this yet).
The hiking trail to the castle is wonderful and certainly great for families with children.
Really the ONLY negative point: If you need WiFi, you may have problems depending on how busy the campsite is. The WLAN is broadcasted everywhere, but on the first days (Easter holidays), when the permanent campers were there, there wasn't much WLAN. But you go to the campsite to relax and not to surf the internet ;-)

But for 5 you would have to build a heated indoor pool or a sauna or both ;-)
We noticed you as the site operator from morning to night. You were always available for your guests.
We had a very nice Easter stay with you. I... learned that you took over the site 3 years ago and I think a lot has happened in that time. The lower pitches are well divided into grass and concrete slabs. The paved area is as big as a standard awning, so the chairs are clean and the dirt stays out of the caravan.
The pitches are also easy to drive on, even for large caravans.
The children's pool is SUPER.
Playground approx. 150 m away, good restaurant approx. 500 m ("Zum Römischen Kaiser"), small playground on the pitch.
The surrounding area also has a lot to offer: Animal park, trolley train, miniature wonderland, Lindenfels Castle, ... We weren't bored!
The sanitary building reached its limits at times. We experienced the odd traffic jam in front of the toilet.

The CP is divided into two parts:
1st part: Steep terraced area with permanent campers. Tourist pitches only in the lower part
2nd part: Somewhat secluded, slightly sloping terrace area for permanent campers and tourists... with a large barbecue area and playground. There is also a side exit to the swimming pool (15 min.)
Friendly and unconventional reception, no store, but sale of drinks, snacks and pizzas.
Bread roll service, hardly any shade, good waste management,
Supply and waste water at the pitch. Lively camping traffic in the area of the barrier reception and waste station, especially at weekends.

But we can't do without maintenance. We always try to reduce the noisy work to a minimum and have therefore also invested heavily in e-technology for green maintenance.Tradus automat.
