- Michael J.July 2018Plusuri+ Spacious, fully equipped pitches + cleanliness and friendliness + peace and quietMinusuri- noneGladly againWe stayed at Trevelgan campsite for 10 days in July 2018! The site is run very professionally, especially in terms of cleanliness and friendliness. The pitches are very spacious (over 120 m2) and equipped with 10A electricity, water and drainage. The playground next to the buildings is very well laid out. St. Ives can be reached by bus every hour (£4 for a family per trip) or on foot (approx. 45 minutes). We can definitely recommend the site!Tradus automat.
- Steffen L.May 2018PlusuriLarge pitches, clean and comfortable sanitary facilities, children's playground, friendliness, excursion possibilitiesMinusuriNONE, even if you were specifically looking for them. If you find something here, you'd better stay away from camping...Why no 6 stars ???Wonderful place that deserves 6 stars if there were this selection of stars. I would particularly like to emphasize the friendliness of ALL the staff. Always a friendly word or a nice chat. The site is very spacious and very well maintained. Excellent sanitary building with free hot water and very comfortable.... Everything makes a very modern and well thought-out impression. The showers are large enough and can be separated again with a curtain. (Hairdryer is available). There are also sanitary cabins with their own shower, washbasin and toilet. A bus runs directly from the site to St. Ives and back. For children there is a great playground and a large lawn with goals. Indoors there are billiards, table football and table tennis. In the near and distant surroundings there are many excursion destinations to great places. Nature, (hiking trails, gardens etc. .....) We will definitely be back next year. And one more comment: the English are a very polite and courteous people. That really impressed us.Tradus automat.
- Martina H.May 2018PlusuriPeace and quiet, spacious pitches, comfortable sanitary facilitiesMinusurinoneAbsolutely outstandingThis fantastically beautiful campsite is located in "no man's land" and therefore guarantees the most wonderful peace and quiet. The pitches are all very large, everything is extremely well and lovingly maintained, sanitary area with underfloor heating, sink with new dishcloth every day (!), everything... is absolutely clean; in front of the building there are several single cabins with toilet, washbasin and shower. The operators and the team are very friendly and helpful. There is a small store with bread service and a playground. This is of a quality that is rarely found. There is a footpath from the campsite to the cliffs. However, I recommend waterproof hiking boots here, as it leads over partly wet grassy areas, fields, small steps, again over fields with hurdles, directly to the cliffs. If you are fit, you should definitely try this hike, as it is very worthwhile! From there you come to the coast path along the rugged cliffs with a breathtaking view of the water and the landscape. There is a bus service from the campsite to St Ives twice a day, 7 times a week. You can easily reach the sights of the region by car. However, the roads are sometimes quite narrow. Highly recommended!Tradus automat.
- Dirk H.September 2017PlusuriVery friendly and helpful Location large parking spaces PUBLIC TRANSPORTATIONMinusuri??Very nice campsite ....... in the middle of nature. The campsite is relatively small with around 130 pitches, all of which are quite large. The reception is very friendly and you immediately feel at home. An electricity adapter is not required. St Ives is easy to reach by bus, which runs regularly, so you can leave your car parked.Tradus automat.
- Volker L.July 2016Relax in summerVery nice and well-kept site in an absolutely quiet location. The pitches are very large and level. Either open at the sports field or separated by hedges. Modern and clean sanitary facilities. There is a nice playground for children.Tradus automat.
- Andreas E.June 2016PlusuriEverything the camper who doesn't need animation likes.MinusurinoneTop place that is highly recommendedOne of the nicest campsites we have ever been to. The cleanliness and condition of the pitches is phenomenal. The sanitary facilities are always clean and working. Plus the brilliant location right on the coastal footpath. It's easy to walk to St. Ives and you can get back by bus, which runs to the site... at least once an hour. St. Michels Mount and Landsend can be reached by bike. Remarkable the friendliness and helpfulness of the site operators (also German speaking) All in all a top place which is highly recommended.Tradus automat.
- Rolf G.July 2014PlusuriBeautiful location, top sanitary facilities.Near St. IvesVery nice location. Shuttle bus to St. Ives very practical. Top sanitary facilities, everything new! Can highly recommend the site.Tradus automat.
- Angelika T.June 2014Plusuri+ coastal footpath + Convenient transfer to St. Ives + peace and quiet + friendly service + modern, always clean sanitary facilitiesFirst creamThe best campsite on our southern England tour - it is close to St. Ives and borders directly on the coastal footpath. We were impressed by the great service as soon as we checked in. The pitch was immaculate and the sanitary facilities had a hotel-like feel and were always tiptop. A highlight is the bus transfer directly from the campsite to St. Ives - but the route is also easy to do on foot.Tradus automat.
