Lots of shady old trees.MinusuriFacility in poor condition.no heart for campersThere are only parking spaces for cars in front of the check-in, there is no space for caravans or motorhomes. Check in is automatic and you have to find your own way around. The pitch floors are only partly grass, mainly dirty sand, and when it rains the pitches are sometimes 5-10 cm under water. The... sanitary buildings are OK but are cleaned at the best time from 8:45 to 10:30. That's okay, but it should be written on the site. TV connection should be available but does not work. We let them know this morning. Someone wanted to come by 6 pm. Nobody came. Have just been to reception... again. We were promised that someone would come this evening. We don't really believe this as nobody seems to care. We have been camping for years and have never had such problems. Oh what is important. The place with the advertised boulevard is a ruin. Not a single restaurant or store. This is incorrectly stated on the homepage. The wash house is very basic and dirty. The beach is at least very nice. We will never come back and are currently just disappointed. On New Year's Eve, a couple of friends came to the campsite for 2 days to celebrate with us. Otherwise we would leaveTradus automat.

But with 2 teenagers who really wanted to go to Scheveningen to the pier and the city of The Hague, the location of the campsite is ideal. And what can I say: we would come back any time. We were there for 6 days... with the caravan, the sanitary blocks are basic but were always clean. The park itself is great, with lots of entertainment, which we didn't use. Directly by the sea, we were at the water's edge in 10 minutes on foot. There are certainly nicer campsites, but this one is perfect for a few days and is just super centrally located.Tradus automat.

The booking was very straightforward. A few days later we received a map by post with which we could then drive to the site. However, the pitch assigned to us when we booked only existed on the map of the site. The numbers in... front of and behind our pitch could all be found, but not ours. Without further ado, we simply parked where it should have been according to the map. Nobody even noticed we were the only ones in the whole row. The water connection that should have been there according to the booking didn't work for us or the other campers. I can understand that at this time of year, but it should still be pointed out when booking. The pitch was generally quite empty, but this was probably due to the time of our trip. The sanitary facilities were clean, which was very important to us, and you could go on long walks with the dogs. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and will certainly come back again. However, I can imagine that it could get very "cozy" in the high season when the place is fully booked.Tradus automat.

We stayed at this site for 1 night. The reception was very "nice" and after asking several times we were also told the way we had to drive to find our pitch. There is a small supermarket on site with everything you need.... The restaurant on site is a bit too expensive but there is no other restaurant within a radius of several kilometers. We wanted to have dinner there in the evening. We were then immediately informed that our dog was not allowed in the restaurant. Absolutely no dogs allowed. We then drove to The Hague and had a very good meal there. Our pitch was big enough and reasonably clean, the sanitary facilities were very clean but a bit outdated.Tradus automat.

The huge site with various vacation homes and the campsite itself has a winding layout. Small roads lead through the park and the signposting around the reception could be better. The sanitary facilities are clearly... getting on in years, which makes the cleaning staff's work more difficult. Everything looks a bit careless, but it was clean. The pitch was equipped with water, waste water and electricity. At the end of the season there was actually no grass. It's not the site's fault, it's due to the foil campers. Due to the fantastic weather, we didn't use the swimming pool on the pitch. The restaurant with snack bar was good, friendly staff. Supermarket quite expensive. For us ok for a weekend, for a longer stay it does not fit for us in the price-performance ratio.Tradus automat.

Problematic on departureNot much different from the othersWe were there in the first week of Easter 2018. First of all, I would like to say that neither the operator nor the staff are responsible for the soiling of the sanitary facilities, but the guests. Nevertheless, these facilities are old, outdated and have hardly been cleaned. Liquid soap dispensers were... empty or defective. Due to the small number of toilets, there were often warm toilet seats. One wash house was completely closed. Apparently the interest here lies in renting out houses, charlets and bungalows. On the actual Roompot site at Roomplatz, a large camping area had been converted into a bungalow park. I think this is the strategy. Whoever is here is dissatisfied and stays. Regardless of this, the state of disrepair in the men's sanitary area. There is hardly a shower or toilet cubicle in which all the coat hooks or door handles are complete, and nobody seems to care, because... nothing changed over 7-8 days of our stay, nor did anyone notice that a toilet door was broken and unhinged. The overall impression was rounded off by the fact that, although the site was well frequented, only one sanitary building was open. This meant that there were three shower cubicles and three toilet cubicles (one without a door) for men and women.Tradus automat.

Of course this and that could be better, but when I see how some people leave the toilet behind and don't even wash their hands, I can't expect cleanliness all day long. The open pitches and the contact with other campers is great. The beach and... the campsite are a dream for dog owners and dogs of course (if you don't like dogs you should choose a campsite where they are not allowed). At 4 stars I expect more frequent cleaningNice place directly behind the dunes but the toilets leave something to be desiredWe paid for 2 adults and 2 children 2 dogs just under 1150€ for 3 weeks (21 nights) Swimming pool, which is rather small for such a place, included. The beach is only a 5 minute walk over the dunes. Furthermore, there is everything you need on the site and the supermarket is not that overpriced. There... is also children's entertainment but it's more for the little ones from 12 years old. Another small drawback are the washing machines 5 euros for a machine you should not (I did) put detergent in it is already fed automatically and then the laundry is so but not really clean at 40 degrees. A dryer costs 50 cents per 10 minutes with very strong 30 minutes with less even 40 minutes necessary. There are only 4 washing machines and 2 dryers for the whole place but I haven't had a problem so far. So now to my big problem the toilets are (we had toilets house 1) very rarely cleaned 1 or 2x a day depending on your mood. Not acceptable for a 4 star place. Yesterday there was no toilet paper from evening to noon at 2 pm and everything was dirty when we asked we were told the woman who does this is sick. Something like that is not possible and I think a toilet house with 2 showers for men and 2 showers for women, 3 toilets for 57 pitches and then often only cleaned once a day is not possible. Not for this price. The ventilation upstairs is dusty and dirty. The hairdryers are totally dirty soap dispenser broken.Tradus automat.

The pitches are overpriced.Once is enough......toilet house 2 was supposed to be open from 18 to 25.03.2016...this was confirmed to me in writing...unfortunately it was closed and we had to walk 400 meters to the next toilet house with 3 children. We also had to drive by car to wash up and use the chemical toilet. The Royal pitches are really nice and big.Tradus automat.
