- Rainer K.July 2019PlusuriInfrastructure, location, swimming pool, children's entertainment.MinusuriNoisy, unclean beach, dilapidated sanitary building 3Not recommended. We were there for 4 weeks in the summer with our 8 year old granddaughter. I cannot recommend the place positively. The parking situation was catastrophic. The campers' vehicles were parked in the driving rows, so that departing campers with caravans first had to look for the vehicle owners so that they... could get out of the plot. The size of the pitches in our area (5000) in no way corresponded to the specifications. Instead of approx. 90 square meters, at most 70 square meters of security? Was it even there? It wasn't just in our neighborhood that there was loud partying almost every night until 02:00 in the morning. Nobody cared. Despite consultation with the registration office. Sanitary house 3 was near us. A sanitary building where the rooms are used by men and women together is absolutely not up to date. I have never experienced this in over 30 years of camping, even on other campsites in NL. Furthermore, the facilities are completely dilapidated. Part of the fittings were missing from several washbasins. There was a garbage bag at the faeces sink for 3 weeks. Among other things with open bags of dog excrement. Beach: Cleanliness ? During the 4 weeks our family was there, the algae were not even removed. The smell was correspondingly bad. You could only get into the water at low tide or in the area where water sports were offered. However, this was not because it was being cleaned, but because of the wind there was hardly any seaweed on the beach. I cannot understand why such a renowned brand as Roompot tolerates this. I can understand that a company has to act economically. But that this situation is acceptable for a company is not. I would also be happy to send pictures.Tradus automat.
- Andreas H.July 2019PlusuriBeautiful beach, check in uncomplicatedMinusuriNarrow access to the site, sanitary facilities, supermarket expensive, speed limit ignored,Conditionally recommendedWe were at the campsite for the first time at the beginning of July. A week before the start of our vacation, we received the keycard to open the barrier so that we could access our pitch straight away without having to register. However, the access road was a bit narrow. The pitch was relatively large.... The sanitary facilities were not clean and old (some of the tops for turning the water on and off were missing from the taps). There was no water pressure (pressure from watering can is stronger). Despite cleaning 3 times a day always dirty. A lot of car traffic on the site, the speed limit is not adhered to, security does nothing about it (generally very dangerous for children). Playground too far outside the campsite. Swimming pool old but still OK. Kettcar very expensive to rent. Supermarket expensive. Beach very nice.Tradus automat.
- Wolfgang K.April 2019PlusuriSuper location behind the dikeMinusuriDangerous situations on the paths due to cars, overpriced prices in the supermarket and restaurant, very outdated, unkempt swimming poolQuiet vacation, modest conditions.Quiet location of the pitch, friendly staff, good facilities of the pitch even if a bit outdated. Sanitary facilities outdated and not too clean. Supermarket with a good selection but clearly overpriced, just as the restaurant is far too expensive. The constant driving on the paths by the cars of the... caravan owners is not at all acceptable, although this is prohibited and the vehicles are to be parked in assigned parking spaces. Sometimes life-threatening for children and adults, the staff do not intervene!!!Tradus automat.
- oliver S.June 2017PlusuriClose to the sea Large pitch Large supermarketMinusuriSwimming pool too far awayI thought the place was greatI've been to this site twice this year. Once over Carnival and we were standing on the tarmac with the caravan because of the soft ground. But it wasn't the campsite's fault. Now in June we had a very large pitch with electricity water etc.. The sanitary facilities were clean apart from one shower that... had problems with the water. But I can live with that. It's a 3 minute walk to the sea. I can recommend the campsite in the summer months without hesitation.Tradus automat.
- Stephan K.April 2017PlusuriBeautiful locationEaster 2017The area is huge, vacation apartments, mobile homes, caravans, tents - everything is represented. Unfortunately, the play facilities are not centrally located. Nevertheless, we had a great time there. The Eastern Scheldt is just behind the dyke and the North Sea beach is only a few kilometers away.Tradus automat.
- Bernd K.April 2017Plusurisupermarket with everything you need close to the beach ideal for cycling dogs are welcome hereMinusurivery commercial in all directions beach paved with beach houses no cozy beach pavilion in the immediate vicinityrental accommodationwe rented a mobile home for 1 week. everything was in order and the equipment with garden chairs, barbecue and equipped kitchen was good. ideal also with a dog. the beach can be reached directly over the dune and you don't have to cross a road with cars. unfortunately the beach is too paved with so-called beach houses and you feel crushed by them.Tradus automat.
- Jens K.June 2016PlusuriRoompot typical great infrastructure, dogs & internet includedMinusuriRisk of injury from oysters in shallow water, park manager reacting inappropriately, poor medical emergency management in JuneNice place - but don't forget your swimming shoesThe Roompot Kamperland Beach Resort is located on the Oosterschelde, about 10 minutes from Delta Park Neeltje Jans. A great campsite with a swimming pool, large children's playground, all the usual Roompot facilities and beach huts for rent. Unfortunately, there was only one warning sign at the main... access to the beach at Whitsun 2017, warning of the danger of oysters and recommending bathing shoes. These signs were missing at all official crossings from the campsite to the beach. In just one day, several Kamperland guests cut their feet open in the water - including myself and a Dutch guest in the hospital in Goes, in each of our cases we had stitches on the soles of our feet! The park manager of the Roompot reacted very inappropriately to our advice to please put up warning signs - he falsely claimed that they were everywhere and laughed at us. We will continue to visit Roompot, but not Kamperland. By the way: it is a very child-friendly and dog-friendly site with a very well-stocked supermarket.Tradus automat.
- J. M.March 2016PlusuriWith the exception of the Easter weeks for 15.-€/night cheap - until 22.04.(ADAC, ACSI)MinusuriCaravan sites cannot be used in early springYear-round pitch - at least not for caravansAs the site is open all year round, we went there in mid-March. Unfortunately, all the meadows were closed and we were directed to paved motorhome pitches. That's why we drove on to .... Otherwise, a large site that is a little overwhelmed by mobile homes and vacation homes. Large marina. However, the proximity to the sea (directly behind the dyke) is attractive.Tradus automat.
- Daniel S.December 2015PlusuriWave pool free of chargeMinusuriRun down, unclean, campers don't seem welcome...Not a second time! Why only 1 star? If you can overlook the missing or broken tiles in the swimming pool, it is really usable! Wave pool with FreeWiFi. The rest borders on unreasonable! In Dec. we used the winter offer 22€ incl. everything* per night. Despite negative reviews, we wanted to see for ourselves.... Booked... & paid online, advantage at reception, nobody really had to talk to us, so we were treated accordingly....another CAMPER..... Here we were handed a card with the statement "for swimming", then "from colleagues wait" 15min later someone came.... Here we also met a seemingly friendly person for the first time, the "guide", who told us that the pitches were soaked through and whether we had an awning with us (fortunately YES, more on this later). We were allocated a regular area (normally for 8 - 10 people) and we were told to put ours in the middle of the paved area. The meadows were so soggy that even walking was a challenge, it was like a swampy landscape..... But we were close to the wash house......(2nd wash house) ladies and gentlemen ... Yes, washing everything together, showering, toilet, ....spülen......ach no there was nothing for..... The condition..... missing handles on the washbasin, tarnished mirrors in which you couldn't really see yourself, crinkled cubicles, which were apparently cleaned once (according to the note every 2 hours "Basic") Defective siphons, where the water ran on your feet..... 2 washhouse, where we found that a flushing facility, condition similar, but this one seemed a bit more modern (here was also the one toilet & washing facility locked). Playground... just around the corner, which was relatively worn, but partly "usable" (no idea what 6-8 cobblestones were doing here???? Stand... this one was only a few minutes' walk away. According to a sign, these were dog-friendly and had to be kept on a lead, but the dogs didn't seem to understand..... so the beach and entrances were a real gauntlet to avoid stepping in any leftovers... To come back to the awning.... We had our own pitch, motorhomes and caravans without awnings were put on other permanent pitches... that wasn't camping! Others had the "advantage" of standing between partially dismantled mobile homes, here it looked like war..... After a conversation with another German-speaking couple, we found out that the map is for driving in and out and that we also get the swimming pool tickets with this map, then we got an overview map.... Restaurant with "indoor" play facilities, here too we felt a bit wrong, but the food is good, even if the prices are steep..... The fact is that we won't be staying at this "camping site" again.... The ADAC rating definitely needs to be checked again!!!Tradus automat.
- michael l.July 2015PlusuriVery nice central location on Zeeland. Great for cyclingMinusuriThe beach was disfigured with approx. 40 beach houses standing on concrete stilts.Campers are only 2nd choice! For the normal camper there are only 2 wash houses still in service, one of which is still in order, apart from the showers, 8 of the 10 showers are defective. The 2nd wash house at the back is in great need of renovation. The highly praised swimming pool is unfortunately also very outdated, rust stains... etc. Free W-Lan can only be found on the campsite in the restaurant area and then very poorly. If you want to use it at the camper you will be asked to pay. I will go somewhere else with my family with 2 children in the future.Tradus automat.
- Ulrich T.April 2015PlusuriSuper location for hiking and cycling, large pitches in the 3000 area.MinusuriDilapidated sanitary facilities, no possibility to exchange gas on site,How does the ADAC come to award the title "Super Platz"?Unfortunately, the campsite only has one notable advantage: it is in a great location for cycling and walking along the banks of the Oosterschelde. This year was the first time we booked in the 3000 field. We've been to the site several times and have always been amazed at the sanitary facilities. Nothing... has been renovated here for years. They are clean, but they are regularly cleaned at times when the wash house is at its busiest. A complete half of the wash house is always closed off for this purpose. The place was not very full, so there was just enough space. It felt like the washing-up area was not cleaned at all. The water didn't drain at all. For the sake of interest, we also visited the wash house in field 5000. We still had negative memories of it from our last visit in 2010. What can I say: it looked exactly the same as it did in 2010 - filthy, run-down and neglected. Unbelievable! Reception and store closed punctually at 5.00 pm. The friendliness at reception also leaves a lot to be desired. The swimming pool didn't suit our children at all: too small, insufficient water depth. "Still room for improvement..." was the children's comment.Tradus automat.
- Ediste V.November 2014PlusuriPool included in priceMinusuriSauna paying, camper pitches by pool quite expensive (20 euros for 1 day/nightRV sitesBeautiful campground with spacious sites and nice plumbing. Pleasant swimming pool area. Nice places provided for campers on concreteTradus automat.
- Annerose K.July 2014Supposedly 5 stars?Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed. It was supposed to be the highlight and turned out to be a disappointment! Our visit with 3 motorhomes in field 3000 supposedly the better fields. Power fluctuations and failure / water failure sanitary facilities still do not deserve 1 star, in the evening... almost impossible to use. From 16h no toilet paper, showers full of hair and only one wiper per 10 showers per complex. In the morning one side was always closed due to cleaning work, so that we women had to wait next to peeing men at the urinal for a free toilet. Sink area always full of leftover food. Outside sink area was not cleaned at all. Resort restaurant on the beach always understaffed, didn't even have a drink after 1 hour. Rental bikes for children were lent out without working brakes and not repaired even when told to do so, we did it ourselves. In the restaurant on the square it dripped next to our table from the rusty air conditioning hanging from the ceiling into a plastic bowl. Pool outdated broken tiles and not clean ...... Too bad it was supposed to be the highlight Absolutely did not deserve the 5 starsTradus automat.
- Thomas L.June 2013Super campsite with everything you could wish for. Only the reception could be friendlier.Tradus automat.
- Thomas M.October 2012We arrived after a period of only 2 days of rain. Nevertheless, the pitches were totally muddy and under water. It was not possible to drive on the meadow without a four-wheel drive. Walking through the awning (over two tarpaulins) was disgusting. Rubber boots were of course a must. The supermarket was... well stocked but expensive. The free swimming pool was good (large slide, wave pool, sauna...). The site is right on the beach/dike (dog walking or cycling very easy). The sanitary facilities were just ok.Tradus automat.
- Ela S.August 2012We stayed at this campsite for the second time in August. The location is good and close to the beach, the sanitary facilities are cleaned regularly. If you don't want to pay the prices in the supermarket, which has delicious bread rolls and is well stocked, you should go to the nearby C1000. Based on... last year's experience, we took precautions with a canopy and thicker PVC sheeting because of the rather muddy pitches (with success). Points of criticism: 1. the comfort pitches are offered with 90 square meters, but the pitches are on average only about 60 square meters, if at all. We measured this on several pitches as we had major problems driving in and parking the new WW with a total length of 7.23m. That's why we looked for other sites. At this year's site, we stood with the rear in a thorny hedge and there was still a good 50 cm to the neighbor. If there had been a car there when we left, we wouldn't have gotten out of it. 2 The paths are used by lots of children playing, but only very few vehicles keep to the 6 km/h speed limit. This is very dangerous and we witnessed a few dangerous situations. It is also not so nice that the swimming pool and many play facilities are outside the campsite grounds. 3 Unfortunately, the new Vakantiecard does not yet work as a payment system. When I asked, I was told that unfortunately it doesn't work in the supermarket, but everywhere else at RP. It didn't work in the swimming pool, despite asking again, but it did work in the restaurant at the harbor. 4. a large note was suddenly hung on my car parked in the parking lot in which I was clearly insulted. There were several parking spaces still free, and I politely did not park in the space next to me, but left about 30cm of space so that I was standing on the markings between the parking spaces. Simply outrageous... 5. after waiting in line at the reception for about 20 minutes, when it was my turn, I was simply sent to the next line and the lady left without comment. This is an absolute no-go for a 5-star place. 6. in general, we have noticed an increasingly negative attitude towards German campers in recent years, which is very regrettable. I have been traveling in D-NL-B for more than 25 years, but as a guest I should be treated with a certain amount of courtesy! 7 This year there were a lot of pigeons in the hedges and trees, so that we were woken up every morning from about 6:00 am with a samba dance on the WW roof. In addition to the lack of sleep, we also had to spend several hours cleaning our roof, which was completely full of pigeon droppings. The site doesn't deserve 5 stars, but it's still nice if it works among the people. We probably won't come back because the pitches are too small. It's not all down to the operator, but also to the guests if, for example, the sanitary buildings are messed up.Tradus automat.
- Anja K.August 2012An ADAC Superplatz??? I've never seen such a bad course before and it's hard to say where to start. Let's start with the only good thing: The site is ideal for cycling tours. We had a pitch with private sanitary facilities and were there with 2 small children. About the pitch. When we arrived, we found... a pitch that was so soggy and muddy that it was impossible to set up. The reception was not very friendly and we waited for hours for pallets so that we could start setting up. The sanitary block is so small that it's impossible to wash there because the shelves are installed incorrectly. After just 2 minutes of showering, the whole thing is at least 10 cm under water and unfortunately does not run towards the blocked toilet, but into the corner of the toilet. Very hygienic, you can push everything out of the house... The equipment is also old and run-down. The pitch itself was dirty and, like other pitches, full of garbage. The large sanitary facilities were filthy and run down. I have never experienced such facilities. You can completely forget about the children's entertainment and everything that could be interesting is paid for. The bawling teenagers, who mainly party in the sanitary facilities, kept us awake for days. When we complained to reception, they got quite snotty. After all, security would walk around the site once (!!!). Of course, nothing changed even after we complained. A playground is very large, but could only be reached from our pitch after a 15-minute walk (as well as the swimming pool and Koosclub) and you had to cross an access road to get there, so it was impossible to let the children go on their own. But there was also so much traffic on the site that you can't let children out of your sight anyway. The other playgrounds are small and unimaginative. The prices in the snack bar are outrageous. Small fries 2.70 euros. The supermarket should be avoided as a matter of urgency. You pay 2.90 euros for butter there. The staff is rather listless and unfriendly. Complaints are not welcome and they don't really care. The worst thing is that the reception actually closes at 17:00. I've never experienced that before. I would have rather thrown the money for the vacation into the fire. By the way, we left 2 days earlier because even the children, who were always sad when the vacation was over, didn't want to stay any longer. A 2 week horror trip. Never againTradus automat.
- Bernd S.July 2012Well located site, but the comfort pitches with sanitary facilities are very hilly and difficult to reach. e.g.: 5200 pitches you have to be a very good driver and still have to take out posts from the Starcaravan to get in. Paths are very narrow. Activities always have to be paid for and are the same every week, even every year. Swimming pool is mediocre and much too small for the pitch.Tradus automat.
- Heiko R.June 2012Very nice campsite with a wide range of leisure facilities. There are now pitches with their own wash house in zones 1 and 5. The standard pitches all have electricity, water, waste water and cable TV.Tradus automat.
- Rainer L.December 2011A great place in the low season. We were there in winter and it was wonderfully quiet. As an almost 50-year-old, I wouldn't want to camp there in summer, as it's bound to be noisy and crowded due to the great facilities. If it rains, you should have a mat outside the door because the ground gets muddy quickly. The location behind the dyke is good and also provides good protection from the strong windTradus automat.
