A bit outdated but spotlessly clean.Very quietwe were just passing through for one night. very friendly welcome. very uncomplicated handling of the reception. there are only a few pitches. most of them are permanent campers.

But is that really important?Very quiet and familiar.I could list everything I have already mentioned here to fulfill the minimum number of letters. But that's nonsense.

This is not the first time we have visited this campsite in the middle of the forest.
Quiet pitches without zones with lots of greenery make this site very special.
The cakes in the adjacent restaurant are famous far and wide, but the hot meals are also made with real love.

Walks/hikes possible directly from the site, outdoor pool right next door (unfortunately not yet open), small children's playground and delicious Thuringian bratwurst.
Sanitary facilities were very clean.

Anyone who knows this wonderful spot near Hepstedt has to ask themselves who should pass on this insider tip. And then there's the tranquil Ummelbad next door, which will make your heart beat faster. All of this hidden in meadows, cornfields, heathland, beeches and oaks. We really enjoyed our stay. In bad weather our little one would have been bored quickly. Apartment is very spacious, kitchen utensils could be a few more, landlady Silvana is very nice and bakes great cakes.Tradus automat.

The sanitary building is getting "old", but very clean and functional. Likewise the "Cafe Ummelbad". Old but with charm, the food is really delicious. We actually just wanted to take a break, but after a nice chat with the owner, a small snack and two of the best apple spritzers, we decided to camp there. It may not be the most modern site, but it is super clean and well maintained. It was a short but... very nice stay. Oh and the price-performance ratio is really good! So we recommend the campsite for all hikers, cyclists, families and permanent campers!Tradus automat.

The rental accommodation is being worked on at a rapid pace.MinusuriDownside nothing really serious...it's pleasant out there and quiet.Campsite with old building charm...The sanitary facilities are clean. The showers are currently being fitted with new mixer taps. This has become necessary because of the old building's charm. The tenant prepares delicious / simple cuisine in the restaurant and breakfast on request, by appointment. We have just celebrated our wedding... on the site and everyone felt comfortable. We have been staying here since September 1999 and feel at home. Our children have grown up there and we don't forget that with other children either - that they should grow up.
