- Andreas S.May 20181A location with sea viewSmall terraced site with an estimated 50 pitches. Most of them are occupied by permanent campers, but the most beautiful pitches with sea views are for day guests. Beautifully situated pitches are also available for tent guests. The ground is mostly gravel with an adjacent lawn. Very friendly welcome... and free choice of pitches. Although the Ring of Kerry road runs right past the site, it is still very quiet due to the hillside location. WLAN is free at the reception, only on the pitch you have to pay 2€/hour or 5€/day. At the end of May, we paid €25 for a camper van with 2 people + electricity. Showers cost €1 per shower coin. There is a small supermarket next to the reception (open from 9:00 - 19:00). We were recommended a hike in the Derrynane National Park. About 80% of the way is on narrow roads with a lot of traffic. The beach at the end of the walk is quite nice, but we wouldn't do it a second time, especially not with dogs. (The "Blind Piper" pub, which you inevitably pass, saved the day)Tradus automat.

- Jara S.August 2012We slept in our tent at this campsite for one night when we hiked the Ring of Kerry. We had a great spot and pitched our tent so that we had a direct view of the sea and the bay. What wasn't so nice was the very hard and stony ground. Unfortunately, our pegs didn't take it too well and got bent. The... laundry and dryer together for €10 was definitely overpriced, but we had to wash our clothes a bit and of course dry them again so that we could stow them away properly. Anyone who has been on a trip like this knows what I'm talking about. Unfortunately, there wasn't much to see in nearby Caherdaniel, as it really is a very small place. The cleanliness of the sanitary facilities was adequate. But unfortunately far too few. The store had everything your heart desires :)Tradus automat.
