Yvonne K.October 2024PlusuriThe reception on arrival was very nice, but short and crisp. The positive thing is that the gate to the pitch is locked at night. At least it made us feel safe, as the surrounding area is not necessarily the most beautiful in Berlin ;) And the good bus and train connections are worth mentioning.MinusuriUnfortunately the men's toilets were closed on the 2nd day as everything was blocked. The toilets and showers were also very unclean. These are simple containers that have been converted. The advertised lounge bar was closed the entire time. No notice at reception or on the website - allegedly due to water damage! Unfortunately, we also didn't notice anything about the bread roll service described.Perfect location, but very simpleOK for short stops and for those who don't have high expectations.
But we would visit the site again just because of the location; unfortunately there are hardly any or no other options in Berlin.Tradus automat.

When you check in, you have to deposit €20 without a receipt for a key that you don't need. As you don't have to go to reception when you check out, it's easy to forget. I think this happens to 10% of guests. So the €20 is gone.... If you then send the key later by post, including a stamped envelope, you don't get a thank you for the key or the €20, despite receiving confirmation of receipt by telephone. Assuming 10%, that's €100 per day, or around €3,000 per month. Very nice.....Tradus automat.

I can't say anything about the pitch itself, as I unfortunately had to cancel it due to illness. When booking, the pitch must be paid for in full in advance. I did this properly and thus fully fulfilled my part.
The terms and conditions of this pitch state that a certain... amount of money will be withheld in the event of cancellation (which I find perfectly acceptable) and the rest will be refunded.
I have been chasing my refund for almost 4 weeks now. E-mails are bluntly ignored, I am put off on the phone - nothing has happened so far...
It's pathetic and says a lot about a company if they don't even follow their own rules (terms and conditions)...
It may be that this place is wonderful, but the way they treat their customers (from whom they live, after all) is ......

Email inquiries were only answered once (and then not even to our question properly). Then canceled and according to the terms and conditions we would be entitled to a partial refund. The place is ideally located for this. I would not recommend longer stays. The showers and toilets are in a container and the site is, as I said, rather bleak. The site is very close to Gesundbrunnen. From there you can quickly get to all the sights. The site is gravelled and mostly not parceled out. The main gate is closed in the... evening. Access is possible at any time via a small door. The key is available for a €20 deposit. The sanitary facilities consist of two containers with showers and toilets, which are clearly laid out but clean. Overall, a good place for a short trip to BerlinTradus automat.
