Pitches in the lake area very uneven. Very noisy in high season.Overall very unkemptCondition of the site very unkempt. We had a pitch in the lake area. Very uneven terrain on the pitch, deep ruts. Sanitary area: avoid the lake area. Shared toilets for everyone. The toilet brushes hang on nails on the wall. Toilet seats available. There are two urinals outside the building behind a... wooden fence. You can smell the odor even on the nearby pitches. At 11 o'clock in the morning all the toilets were totally filthy. There was no toilet paper left in any of the cabins (the campsite was not fully occupied on those days). In the washrooms, the door locks on some of the shower cubicles were defective. Water only comes out of the shower unevenly, depending on how many showers are used. Some water also came directly from the tap, unfortunately unusable. In the evening it also smelled strongly of urine directly in the shower. The sink for the camping toilet is so unusable that you have to go into the shower afterwards. Avoid pitches directly on the lake, very noisy due to people partying on the shore (I'm sure some people also like this). For the price, I have visited many pitches that were much better maintained. Fortunately, we moved on again after a short time. The surrounding area is highly recommended: The Jura has something for everyone.Tradus automat.

The sanitary facilities are dirty and are not cleaned. The pool is nice, the places at the lake too. Rather small menu in the restaurant... Enjoyed the (under used) site restaurant where we had fantastic service. Weather wasn't so good, so expect we would have enjoyed site even more in blazing sunshine.
- Sascha S.August 2013Beautifully situated campsite right on the lake. We were in the part of the campsite by the lake, where the pitches are terraced down to the lake. The individual pitches are separated by hedges. There is no one-size-fits-all, but rather clear differences, and not all pitches are suitable for caravans.... There was a mixed crowd of campers, caravans and some motorhomes, mainly from NL, F and GB. There is access to the beach, but the sunbathing area is rather uneven and the beach itself is only suitable for sunbathing to a limited extent. The lake itself is beautifully blue, pleasantly warm and very clean. The sanitary building in the lake part of the campsite is clean and large enough, but not very modern or comfortable. For a 4-star Yelloh! campsite, we would have expected a little more here. The swimming pools were very well frequented due to the almost full campsite, so the odd hair was found in the water, the showers or the pools to be passed through before visiting the pool. Typical for France -> no shorts allowed in the pools. We didn't like the limited number of loungers in the pool area and the lack of an alternative lounger option. The beautiful children's playgrounds with very nice climbing frames are great, and the lounge area with stage, bar and restaurant as well as boules court etc. is nicely designed. There was plenty of entertainment, but we didn't use it due to lack of interest.Tradus automat.

- Richard S.August 2011We stayed at this campsite for 6 days in August 2011 and will gladly come back again. We had a very nice and large pitch with a view of the lake. Overall, the campsite, swimming pools and sanitary facilities made a well-kept impression. The only thing that bothered us (this only applies to the lakeside... sanitary building - we didn't use the others) was that there was only warm or hot water in the individual washing cubicles, so that washing was impossible at certain times as you would get scalded. It was also annoying that there was no washbasin in the outside toilets. However, you are compensated by the fantastic lake with excellent water quality, a beautiful swimming pool complex including an indoor pool and sauna and great surroundings. Particularly worth mentioning are the nearby waterfalls and, for the kids, the large diving platforms at the lake's public lido. The service at the campsite was also good and the staff at reception were friendly and some spoke German. There is a nearby doctor, should you, like us, unfortunately need one.Tradus automat.
