Unfortunately a bit mosquito-heavy as a result, but also very nice from the birdsong.
The sanitary facilities are no longer the newest, but clean and sufficient for the number of pitches.
Fresh water and electricity... available at the pitch, but unfortunately no shopping facilities. The restaurant in the Buhnenhaus offers delicious dishes at a good price-performance ratio.

The site is a wonderful base for canoeing or cycling tours. And at a sensational price. We had to register and pay briefly, after which we could simply choose a free pitch at will. The nature of the site is predominantly grassland.... There are connection points for water and electricity for each pitch. There are no narrow paths - everything is very straightforward. There is a sanitary building with functional facilities - not luxurious but clean. Although the pitch is directly connected to an excursion restaurant, it wasn't noisy at our pitch. On departure, it was just as easy as on arrival. We were able to spend the whole afternoon there, eat at the Bühnenhaus in the evening (good, plentiful and reasonably priced) and then leave relaxed. There are beautiful forests and lots of water for cycling and hiking right next to the site. Our dog also liked it very much, and we didn't have to pay anything for him. The sanitary building was always clean. Unfortunately, the showers... don't have their own changing room, but there is a wooden bench and lockers in front of the showers where you can leave your clothes. However, there is no extra charge for showering. The access road and parking lot to the Buhnenhaus restaurant run through the middle of the campsite. This naturally creates a corresponding background noise. On the Easter holidays, cars were constantly driving back and forth from midday to evening. We liked it anyway, simply because the price was unbeatable and everything else was very uncomplicated. The children's schnitzel alone could pass for a normal portion in many other places! The... site is somewhat unstructured with no pitches, but nicely structured with a variety of plants and electricity columns. The sanitary building is in very good and clean condition, mops at every washbasin underline the claim to leave a clean washing area for the next person. A friendly welcome and the trust that the operator places in the camper by dispensing with shower machines or lengthy registration processes is reminiscent of the old days and is probably the best advertisement.
