Visitors to the indoor and outdoor swimming pool next door can be heard during the day, but in the evening and at night the location is uniquely quiet.
Multi-dog owners are also very... welcome here.
The sanitary facilities are relatively clean and sufficient.
Worth mentioning are: stove with oven that can be used free of charge, covered lounge area, billiard table.

The operators couldn't help the heat of the day and the subsequent constant rain.
The swimming pool was closed, but as nobody was in the office after 5pm, we (shower tokens) couldn't shower in the heat.

Somewhat narrow access due to the tree-lined avenue, but all feasible.Great quiet place directly in/near the forestWe booked the campsite at short notice on our return journey. Due to the location and the dog-friendliness, we decided on the site and were pleasantly surprised. Very nice contact. Due to our somewhat late arrival during the lunch break, we contacted them briefly by phone and the parking space was described... to us on the phone and we were then able to drive in directly as the barrier is open during the rest period. Very nice. Pitch in the middle of nature, potatoes etc. can be bought directly on the pitch. Great. Sanitary is a bit older but everything works fine. The pitch was ideal for our 3-day stopover.
In addition, the place is within walking distance in a few minutes and there are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets etc.. There are full ashtrays everywhere in the reception area.
And then you follow the friendly receptionist's directions and end up under oak trees on grass between other campervans. Soothing.
The sanitary facilities... are as they should be, the path to the bakery via the "Inspirationsweg" is a walk in the park.
The forest pool is next door, as is the monastery park.

The campsite is not very big, but the pitches are flat and spacious with grass. The sanitary facilities are not the newest but they were always clean. There is a children's playground... and a covered area with table football, table tennis and other little things for children to do. The icing on the cake is the free visit to the adjacent heated outdoor pool. Ebstorf also leaves nothing to be desired in terms of culture and cuisine. On this actually very quiet site, which is located directly by the Waldbad and on the outskirts of Ebstorf, people who like it very quiet will actually find a well-suited pitch. The facilities are adequate, the pitches are large enough... and the provision of everyday necessities is no problem in Ebstorf. When we made a three-night reservation two weeks in advance for our return journey home from the Baltic Sea, not a word was said about the fact that a camp with a total of 60 (!!!) wolfhounds and their owners was to take place that very weekend. On the very first night, the only six dogs present at the time howled and barked until well after midnight, making sleep unthinkable. The next morning, the owner of the campsite referred us to a note that she had put up on the notice board (this helps immensely with a verbal reservation); there was no apology, no understanding; a pity. We were told by a permanent camper that several attempts to persuade the operator to communicate better with her guests had failed. The site is well protected in the middle of the forest with a number of easily accessible paths for daily dog... walks. The sanitary facilities, kitchen and lounge (with TV) are new, clean and well heated even in winter. Replacement gas bottles are delivered quickly and easily and can even be connected on request. Bad Bevensen with its rehabilitation centers can be easily reached from here in 15 minutes by car.
