"Dog fence prohibited. Why suddenly the question is - No more dog fences allowed. Traveling with several dogs is no longer nice. Dogs on a leash 24 hours a day, which of course constantly get tangled up. Advertised as dog-friendly. Who wants to keep their furry friend tied up all the time? Dog fences don't bother anyone.

"So check carefully to see if you can't find something better - The location is great, the customer service not at all. Another negative thing I noticed was that this is probably a dog camp, 50 percent of the visitors had dogs with them, which is nice, but doesn't make the barking any more pleasant, especially in the quiet hours. There is only one garbage station, to which you have to walk across the whole campsite, which I was told was probably due to a vermin problem. We booked for a week and indicated that we might leave a day early, which we didn't do. The result was that we were expelled from the site and did not get our money back. The reception manager commented that she didn't care. It's a shame, the location is nice, but it takes more than that.

"Great campsite - We stayed at this campsite in August 2023 and were able to enjoy a luxury pitch. Simply perfect. The site is very tidy overall, everything is clean, great sanitary facilities, 2 pools. The campsite felt completely full, despite temperatures of 35 degrees, the pools were not overcrowded. Free sun loungers were available even at these temperatures. Great separate dog area by the pool with sun loungers and parasols. The many small washing-up stations in almost every area of the campsite are very pleasant. This is very relaxing. This also means very short distances. No waiting times for washing up. The supermarket is well stocked and has everything you need on the campsite. Prices are ok. The water dispenser for drinking water is very convenient. 20 cents/liter. Great idea, no waste of plastic bottles! Separate exits for dog walks. Highly recommended for dog owners. Also separate dog beach on the lake. The restaurant is great. Great location on the lake, and everything is very tasty. Prices are absolutely reasonable, even more reasonable. Reservations are recommended for the evening. There are 2 beaches at the campsite, both are very natural and relatively narrow. However, this is due to the location. Bathing shoes are recommended. Conclusion: Absolute TOP place - full 5 stars. You have to be very critical here to find any disadvantages.

"Great campsite for dog owners - A great campsite all round. We will definitely be back. However, you need either bicycles, a car or, like us, our Vespa to see the surrounding towns.

"Great place, uncomfortable beach - Great campsite which, like so many others, is increasingly being equipped for mobile homes and dormitories. So small pitches, lots of chalets. Nothing for beach vacationers as it is very uncomfortable. The access is also a stumbling block. You just have to like Lake Garda and its surroundings. It's not ours. We were on pitch 602 (2nd row on the lake). Access is too narrow; pitch too small and full of ants. These had then also conquered our caravan. Wellness facilities cost extra. Two hours sauna 30€!

The Fornella Camping and Wellness Family Resort is located on a charming strip of land between Lake Garda and a large olive-growing area. It is a quiet, green oasis of over 120,000 m², just 2 km from the centre of …the old town of San Felice and 5 km from Salò. We are located in one of the most idyllic and romantic corners of the lake, directly on the water, with two beaches and a picturesque cliff. We offer a wide range of pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes to meet the expectations and needs of all camping enthusiasts in a green and sustainable environment. Our pitches are equipped with 6-16-ampere EEC electricity, water and drainage. Our swimming pools, beaches, restaurant, shop, wellness & SPA, as well as outdoor and indoor play areas, offer fun, good food and activities for everyone in complete safety. Children can take part in our entertainment programme, the mini-club and tournaments, while for adults we have a range of sports activities and the opportunity to relax and recharge in our lake-view SPA. Dog owners can swim with their furry friends in the lake on the south-eastern beach, use the shower specially designed for dogs or explore the exclusive off-site off-leash area, in a typical rural setting. The unique location, infrastructure and services offered make this campsite the ideal place for a quiet and relaxing holiday in the open air, with plenty of opportunities for families and sports enthusiasts to find entertainment and fun. A- If Driving from the Brenner Pass (A22 Southbound motorway), Venice (A4 motorway westbound)or the south (A22 Motorway northbound) once you reach the Verona area make sure you join the A4 Motorway westbound (directions for Milano or Brescia). Exit the …motorway in Desenzano del Garda and follow directions for Salò. about 20 km from the motorway exit turn right at roundabout following signs for San Felice del Benaco. 2 km after roundabout drive straight across crossroad , down a rather steep hill , across a bridge and up the hill the other side , take the second road on the right ( CTS Bar and Pizzeria on your right) and follow signs for "Camping Fornella". The entrance to the site is through a rather narrow road on the right at the bottom of a hill. B- If driving from the west (Milano) take the A4 motorway eastbound (signs for Brescia and Venezia) exit at Brescia Est and follow signs for Salò, after the exit for Villanuova/Madonna di Campiglio, follow signs for Desenzano (keep on the right at fork inside tunnel). Cross traffic lights at Villa di Salò , turn left at the 4th roundobout (directions for San felice del Benaco).2 km after roundabout drive straight across crossroad , down a rather steep hill , across a bridge and up the hill the other side , take the second road on the right ( CTS Bar and Pizzeria on your right) and follow signs for "Camping Fornella". The entrance to the site is through a rather narrow road on the right at the bottom of a hill. C- If driving from the Brenner pass you can also consider taking the scenic route along the lake side (exit motorway at Trento or Rovereto Nord).This route is very slow at summer, crowded with tourists and extremely narrow if towing a trailer or caravan.
