The access to the campsite is good, the pitches are not parceled out. There was some confusion on arrival as the reception was not manned until we were told by other campers to just park, the operator would come in the evening... and sort everything out. That worked well, we got our spa tickets in the evening, were able to pre-order our bread rolls for the morning etc.
The pitch is simply equipped with sufficient electricity and a local water supply. The wash house is large enough, but the showers were closed due to the hygiene concept. We did not discover a playground or other facilities.
A positive thing for us was the train stop at the site, from here you can reach the entire national park area every hour and also travel to Deggendorf by changing trains.
A negative aspect was the busy road with no speed limit, which makes crossing to the train stop and the hiking trails extremely dangerous and, depending on where the pitch is located, can also be clearly heard.
All in all, however, a clear recommendation for the simple pitch, which is completely sufficient for a hiking or cycling vacation.Перевод автоматический.

These are the best conditions for us. That's all we really need. Animation, kiosk, Halli Galli? Not a thing. You won't find them here. Just peace and quiet and an idyllic spot from which to explore the Bavarian... Forest.
This place could be a gem, because there is still so much potential to turn it into a real gem. The barn, which adjoins the sanitary building, would be ideal for seating in bad weather and would score points with a play corner for children. Unfortunately, the lounge in the main building is not very inviting - you don't want to stay here for long. When it rains, half the site is quickly under water (paving or graveling the main paths would make a big difference here) and a bit of lighting at night wouldn't go amiss either. Despite everything, we thought the site was great, wildly romantic and largely unspoilt.
The uncomplicated check-in was great.
Simply choose your pitch, set up and wait for the operator to do her rounds in the evening. You can order bread rolls for breakfast this way and she is always ready to listen to questions and needs.
